- So we had a spot of good weather and like a typical British couple spend the first 3 minutes of the video reflecting on it, after that we talk about my latest crash and then onto a pop quiz. It was a lot of fun making this one...

Interesting point about the’small’ channels kind of forming a circle. A few of the ‘bigger’ channels have a bit of a clique going on (of which we are no part). In many ways, channels like ours, Freddies and a few others are really not that different to yours, in that we have an idea, a motorbike and a camera, and off we go. That’s also why I can’t bear to watch channels like MCN, Bennets and the like, because they have a corporate backing, a film crew (we’ve seen them - 5 people on a review), yet they produce soulless poor quality content. And that’s why I watch the channels you mention 👍🏼
I love the informality and Bonhomie of the smaller less corporate channels - although yours is not so small anymore you still keep it watchable. What’s the latest on your move to Spain? About time for an update methinks😊
Well that's high praise being compared to your fine selves gents. I do resonate with the idea/motorcycle/camera -> go, which is exactly what we do the difference is I typically film in the afternoon get home and do a very rough edit and upload the evening. I'm fairly unprofessional as there's no schedule per se which is something I'd like to work on in the future. Interesting what you say about the bigger channels in a 'cabal' of sorts, I do notice all the regular faces at BMW launches in Portugal, more recently releasing a 1300GS spec based sales pitch video. I believe UA-cam trends are coming back to authenticity more of a 2017 feel so channels that do the stats and marketing will not be as popular in the future. As you are a bodybuilder look at Sam Sulek, he's 22 but a back like the Kraken and does an old skool 45min vlog of his daly gym trip and food shop and hes at 450,000 in 24hrs 😂. I really enjoyed the last Dad&Darcy on the shotgun and the complaints 😂. Thanks for the comment and for dropping by 🙏👍
Thankfully most of the other channels don't have a mad-head blonde chatting away 😂 I'll stick to filming next time and let you all get back to talking about the actual topics. I will just say though, Spain is great, the downsides we see - no sunsets as East facing, and we've heard it was horrific during lockdown, which is the opposite of what we want! More freedom please. Where else have you considered guys? We love your channel, Sean mentions you guys often, and we were also going to move to Wales as a step to moving abroad and you actually confirmed for us that we should just go straight for the sunshine 🌞

@@ShaktiSuzie have you actually moved to Spain and left the UK? We always wanted to move to France but did Wales instead. My sister lives on the coast in Andalusia so we want to be an hour or so from her, inland in the mountains.

Great video guys - just love the banter you have together. It brings a smile to my face. I’m planning to buy a bike out there later this year or early next as the biking terrain is amazing. You have the foothills of the Pyrenees together with the coastal roads around Cadaques just a stones throw away not to mention the multitude of coves for when you want a quiet paddle. It’s heartening to hear people coming together from all walks of life and sharing their passion from biking. All too often social media is a tool used to divide us and it’s heartening to see it being used to unite us. Keep them videos rolling in 👍😊

The biking terrain looks fantastic and I've only really been in the local area. What bike are you looking at? Also did you see the news about the French parliament looking at 6 months stay
exemption for foreigner owned properties in France. Spain is said to be watching closely. Could be a positive step if passed...
It’ll be a classic retro of some description as I just love the genre for the back to basics riding. I currently have a speed twin here in the UK. Yes the French have just passed this law for homeowners and there is talk that they may consider something similar in Spain. Fortunately as a Spanish passport holder now I don’t have to worry about 90/180 days rules but I am only allowed to stay for six months each calendar year otherwise I would need to be tax resident - which I may decide to do at some point in the future.
Me too, that's why I love modern retro as well! The Goldstar is a natural successor to the Meteor 350 for me anyway, not sure others would agree!
You two working together is a hoot. Just like being at the family dinner table. More!

That's a lovely thing to say, thank you kindly Dan for the support and such a compliment. We are still finding our feet here and it's a challenge knowing what to invest efforts in. I think as time has passed that it's less about the camera and more about the delivery, interesting topics!I certainly won't be doing drone footage every time, even though it is quite fun. I do find it very easy to chat with Suzie about bikes so we are essentially filming an activity we do anyway 😁👍

Beautiful location, and 19 degrees would feel amazing now! Finding 2 Wheeled Willie through your channel was a happy accident. The guy is an absolute riot. With the current crop of naked bikes, I find that after the initial excitement of a new model reveal wears off, I'm left with the same thought: everything looks like it went through the KTM styling department. I imagine that if you took all the badges off, and all the bikes were painted a neutral colour, most of us wouldn't be able to identify them at a glance. I suppose the same could be said of the modern classics, though. If every era has its dominant design language, my preference always comes back to something older.
Yes I love watching Willie's stuff too, so simple and so brilliant! Insightful comment about Naked bikes, I am tempted to do a video comparing them all just to prove the point. They do all look the same 😂. Thank you Mark for the comment 😁
Super fun watch guys soooo jealous of those temp's ,there are just to many great bikes to choose from these days aside from the mega expensive ones I am currently deciding whether to add a twin to my garage in the form of a used Harley or Triumph T120 /T100 as I have always more or less had four's , but really I go completely off piste and be neither of those but hey it's fun looking around and will have to do some test rides of course . 👌👍
Yes this one was fun to make, it did pour with rain all the next day but we had a nice timing with the weather and the ride. It's great being able to go out whenever you fancy, especially with the camera in tow! V7 seems to be flavour of the month on UA-cam ATM, but a triumph twin would also be a bike you could be proud of! Definitely, secondhand yes, I think I've bought my last brand new bike, never again! Absolute respect to you for mentioning other bikers channels. A channel I follow is "One Man One Bike". The guy is currently touring North Africa and you will almost certainly pass each other as you head south. I can highly recommend him and his fabulous channel.

rides if I don’t crash it when I can,but I’ve just had the go pro 12 this week and have to learn the technicalities of that which I will because my old go pro 4 silver which is pretty basic and I bought second hand 😮 no stabilisation and pretty poor
The 360 one x 2 which I have has it issues great for 360 views but the front views let it down 😮when I get out finally il test that hero 12 put it under some setting tests ( time warp) time lapse slow motion and linked to my rode 2 should work well I did a few checks yesterday and set up a few shortcuts whilst I was on a walk (day off ) also checked it in the car on the windscreen works well 😊
Il get a video out somewhat a test video to see how the go pro 12 does on a bike soon once the weather gets better 😊😊
Eh I tell you what the Honda CB 350 is gonna be a contender in Europe bullet lookalike get yourself on one if you can 😊😊
Ok the clocks not great but wow the look and the colours are beautiful and Honda they have another trials type retro pretty cool 😎

Thanks Phil for the comment. I think we should all place bets on what month Willie gets his new bike, I reckon September 😂. I empathise with you on testing all those camera, it feels like you learn one set of configuration settings that work then with a new device you've got to learn it all again, I think you could make a video based on everything you know and have experienced on the GOPRO 12 especially, people would be interested to see that! I expect the 12 will have an excellent image quality and probably even better stability with a fixed horizon which might look really good. I've still got my 7 and the budget action cam broke sadly!

Really lovely to see 2 young people so passionate about motorcycling and the community which supports it. Just watching the enthusiasm for the BSA helped me make the decision to buy one and I am very happy with it.

Just on the enjoyment of the BSA, a couple of modifications that have increased the riding and the visuals for me: Tec - rear light mod, Tec - progressive fork springs, Hagon rear shocks (probably the biggest difference) and I tooth up on the front sprocket. Makes the bike ride more in the revs sweet spot and the damping feels plush. @@MindfulMotorcyclist

I was sad having misplaced the red one 😔😔. Luckily I've got this one on right now and loving it. I think Suzie wouldn't be too disappointed if this one got lost too 😂

You guys have the perfect back drop, location (Spain) for all year riding and a unique brand of motorcycle (I've not see anyone else on the Continent with a BSA). This could be start of something bigger for you both, you just have to reach out and grasp this opportunity. You've got France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Gibraltar and Morocco on your door step and all the time to do it 🙏🙏
We have Bob, I agree. Even though that's an overall positive picture but just reading your comment I feel a bit of nervousness about having such an opportunity and which direction to take. Yes we've got the nice weather, the bike and backdrops but I'm almost inclined now to include a lot more travel/life type content, perhaps around or in all these lovely towns and beaches which are very exciting to us. It's just really fun to make a conversation style video and fun is what it's should be about. Only concern I have is a lot of people subscribed for the motorcycle reviews originally and here I've got no friendly garage to lend me a bike so that will be much harder to do read non existent. Those people might be alienated. What do you think?

Hi Lumpy, we didn't think to check to be honest. Some of the hills are so steep with hairpins it's 10-15mph max. I will say though, I'm glad to have the Goldie torque, if I still had my RE 350 I feel it would get bogged down alot and I'd be in first the whole time. The bigger cc gives a little more flexibility ..

It's OK, I like having a big bum, it's not actually big as I'm a small woman, and I used to work hard lifting weights to make it even bigger and rounder so he's actually complimenting me by agreeing - he certainly doesn't complain 😜🍑💖 Thank you very much for the kind compliments, my hair is crazy on here, we'd just been swimming, so I'm very glad you still think I look great.
