Put a thermostat in my 07 g6 today burp and burp then vapor locked it after 2 hours of scrolling how to fix it was one little bitty bolt and fixed all day job jr can you use this for a 4.3 I'm camming mine porting and heavy spring but I'll need a tune not finding much have not ordered a cam just researching
I have a 00 Sierra with a 5.3, 7875 Turbo, Hunter tuned injectors, No MAF. Did a speed density tune on it but when I turn the upstream O2's on it falls on it's face and won't go over 40 mph. Any ideas?

If i drop in a mild truck cam will i need to tune it to get it to run? Its my daily driver so im going for as little down time as possible. Do you have a secret budget cam company? I got my eye on a summit racing cam but its knocking on 300$...
I had an unrelated issue that I needed help with....I was hoping you could help. I have a Silverado RCSB with6.0 with summit turbo cam and gen 2 VS 7875. Full 4" exhaust and 3" cold side with FMIC. CHeap Chinese wastegate and BOV, and hot side from amazon that you showed in a video recently. So the problem is I can't get past 9-10lbs boost...even with wastegate boost reference line disconnected from boost controller. The VS gen 2 should be able to supply a lot more boost right? Any ideas? I have a crossover pipe on the wastegate so I can't really tell if/when it opens. Thanks in advance! ANd thanks for posting the videos they helped a bunch throughout the build!

Will this method be sufficient for a first start up and cam break-in to be able to drive to the dyno?
You don't break in roller cams

HEY JR, do the mild cams like Elgin E 1840 P that just drop in with no springs, seats, lifters or convertor needed still need a tuning upgrade?
That cam doesn't drop in with no springs or converter lol

Lower it.
100 is 100% of what the injectors can do, 0 is 0, so if it's at 30 where you're rich, drop it to 28 and try again

It's because it was a E38, it uses virtual VE, it's under the Speed Density tab

They need tunes. Some will run, some won't. There would be no point to this video if they ran perfectly lol.

Cheap Chinese wastegates are known to not be super accurate. What spring is in it? And is it clear of debris and nonsense?
It was assembled poorly, loose screws and pinched diaphragm. I totally forgot to check it before I installed it. THis happened once before....THanks!

I've done it all.. it still won't start up and run. 6.0 ls3 stage 4cam
You might have to bump up the fuel or idle rpm

I finally had a little time to play with it.. will only start when pedaling the throttle.. so would that be not enough fuel.
