One of my favorites by them. Welcome to Zeppelin’s longest studio song! Although those 11 minutes go by pretty damn quick. This is an old gospel song that Zeppelin took and made into an epic. They are all in the zone and Page is killing it on slide guitar!

It's insane to my ears, and my Synesthesia, to know this is a Rock Song. Jimmy Page is not playing any "Rock" riffs. They're all Blues Chords and Progression with some pedals added. It's brilliant. I'm grateful that the Brits really consumed Blues from the United States in the 1950's. This fact can be seen largely on the generation of British Rock Bands during the 60's and beyond.

This song was written here, in Miss'ippi, in the 1920s. May The Lord let him slide for slipping in that bit at the end about a girl rockin' so hard 'til his back ain't got no bone, while singing "Lord, Make up My Dyin' Bed."

Lovin the Channel. Zep is one of those bands that I would suggest listening to the studio version first for almost all tracks. In most cases, their live performances stray from the original quite a bit. And to their credit, their studio tracks capture the emotion. They don't hold back.

Another awesome Zep song and reaction. I think each of them brought out the best in each other. They all respected the talents of the others and knew they would have to be on their A game every time. And this song has such an awesome riff. Page knew the fret board instinctively. He was steps ahead of himself one every note. Thanks for doing this one! Glad you see their great talents!

He was saying how he didn't do anyone wrong and he was asking St. Peter hey man why can't I get in Heaven I treated people good never did no wrong. I've been a ZEPPELIN fan for 50 years and in my humble opinion they are the greatest RocknRoll band ever as well as the four greatest RocknRoll musicians ever to come together as a band. If you want to hear some of their real bluesy songs that they covered 50's black musicians like Muddy Waters n John lee Hooker just to name a couple listen to their first album LED ZEPPELIN 1 it will blow your mind. Peace to you n yours my young brother be safe.😎✌🤪💨💨💨🤟🌅🌈

Check out their early stages in How Many More Times. The live version in denmark is great, but the studio one is also fantastic. Most Zeppelin songs should be experienced both studio and live track ideally because they all have different solos. For example Jimmy pages solo on since I've been Loving you is too incredible to miss, but so Is the live versions because they're different.

You are young and you have the time to listen to the studio recordings first, then the live performances. The iconic versions we all heard first on the radio, or if someone had the money to buy the album, we'd all gather and share our albums by playing them for each other. That's why these reactor videos are so popular. It's like we are doing it again, but with a different friend. Very few of us got to ever hear, or see them live. For that, you had to have the money, car, and other friends actually go to the concert. Not everybody got to do that. Or if, perchance, they happened to put out a live album. So, when we talk about this music, for the most part, we are speaking of our collective experience, which was radio or personal album. We didn't have youtube, or video shows, and performances were not always filmed. The album recordings are the iconic versions that everyone knew and loved (to death!). Take your time, there's so much music, art, movies, etc. out there and you are just at the precipice of discovery. Just a suggestion: Perhaps, do the album version, then the live version right after. No one's done that yet and I think it would be very interesting. Next songs to consider: When the Levee Breaks, Kashmir, The Crunge, The Ocean (studio versions, please!)
