"Uni-sex sunglasses" *cries in blind without eyeglasses*
I know how you feel! I used to love to wear sunglasses when i went out, but now that i need to wear eyeglasses all the time due to my vision worsening over the years, i can't wear them anymore, and it seriously sucks 😖😩
i suggest getting photochromatic lenses the next time you need new glasses! i don't have them myself (yet), but everyone i've asked says there are pretty much no cons other than having to wait a little for them to lighten up again once you go inside.
@@BeesSides they're just very expensive 😭
I know they can be scary and expensive... but seriously get contacts. They have been a life saver for me.. I finally can wear them alien looking prada shades
You can get prescription sunglasses, they're more expensive than regular sunglasses but so worth it. Also not as expensive as photocromatic. I've got a pair of prescription sunglasses for about 160 euro which is I think maybe about 180 dollars? I use them every single day so it was worth it. Driving without having to squint at the sun all the time is life changing. Or get contacts, but personally I don't really like them I find them uncomfortable
I had the worst day w lot of dysphoria and crying bc of misgendering and not being accepted by my family
Your videos always make me feel better, make me feel seen
I really needed this, thank you!
I'm so sorry you are going through all of that! I understand you. I hope you are having a better day💕
awe i'm sorry that's rough!! hope you find a way to create some safe space for yourself 🫶🏻✨
any day iris uploads is a win for my wardrobe ✨love all these tips (espesh those gladiator sandals, so gender??) and the filming setup is magical!!
this is more a fabric, but linen anythingg - I have some pairs of baggy linen pants and a linen overshirt to pair with a tank. very light and airy 👍🏼 also fisherman sandals are apparently making a comeback if anyones into those - they’re close toed but also breathable
Okay I'm a bit of a fashion History nerd, and linen was used for undergarments though the 1800s because its a plant fiver that's designed to take moister away and be light. So ya know maybe ye olde humans had a good idea. Love me some linen.
@@Will-uy6nv oh that’s sick! Thanks for sharing :)
-white sneakers
-tennis socks ( It gives me a looot of gender euphoria)
-tanktops
-90s button ups
-80s sport shorts
-big "masculine jewellery"
-cap and my tiny cat ear straw hat
-mini skirts
-jorts
-crops tops below the navel
-"men" swimsuit paired with a bikini top
Your content made me think more about how i dress and how i intent to dress and ever since then i feel way more happy in myself in a way i knew i was lacking because i was not happy with how i presented, but never knew what to do about it or that such simple details as feeling like i look good today, could help my mental health so much so thank you for your content ! :D
aweeee yayyyyyy i'm so glad! that's why i make my videos :) thx for watching!
Overalls babyyyy! I have some baggy, hand me down overalls and they definitely feel neutral with a bandanna and strap sandals 😊 Ty Iris
to me, tight black cropped tank and big wide leg black jeans = ESSENTIAL. u can add so many different accessories to this fit--belts, jewelry, flannel or overshirt, diff shoes, a mesh shirt underneath the tank if its cool enough, etc
I love baggy Jorts in the summer, the e super comfortable and gender neutral, plus they just fit my personal style of like grunge and skater. I like wearing them with an oversized or baggy tshirt and converse
The saving grace in summer for me is a loose fitting short sleeve blouse/button up. They're airy, so you don't die in the summer heat but still hide your chest
I get a lot of disforia and find it hard to find fits that make me feel any sort of euphoria that was until I found your channel
thank you Iris from making life just a little bit easier for Trans and gender-nonconforming people everywhere I hope you have a brilliant day
awe thanks sm for watching!! ❤️
for me, i love button up shirts when my chest is tape binded specifically- flowy enough to cover some of the chest curves and i can wear it with the top buttons unbuttoned to show off the flat middle area of my chest !!! it’s very gender to me plus no fears of flashing anyone bcs the nips are covered with tape 💪
I audibly said "YES!" when I saw this video come up
aweeeeee yayyyyy hehehe

i'm blinded by the lights
reaaaaally needed this to get thru summer
Short sleeve button-ups!! I basically live in them in the summer, so many colours and patterns to choose from and you can wear them on their own or open over another shirt. Also very gender ✨
i cut a tank top like the first one the other day and i already feel better !
my suggestion 1) is to wear looser clothing, i mourn pants weather but if i have to wear shorts they’re a size too big.
2) i do not have access to “less feminine” sandals so i wear my boots all summer and that seems to help.
3) and finally i tend to focus of my hair a little bit too much in the summer but on the right day i can pass for a guy :) i just trim it before events and gatherings.
-Bandana
-men's button-ups with the short t-shirt sleeves (life-savers I swear especially the patterned ones)
-longer shorts (like Iris's jorts!)
-crocs
-sliders sandals
-weird bead jewelry
-backpack with cool vibes (if the backpack lacks the vibes, slap on some pins, immaculate vibes)
-out of the ordinary accessories (plushie backpack, fingerless gloves, ANYTHING WEIRD JUST CANNOT BE CATEGORIZED INTO GENDER ROLES)
Summers where I live are generally less warm than most other places I hear of, so that probably reflects in my list lol.
yayy thx for sharing ur essentials~✨
@@irisolympia omg the legend commented back!!!! (Im so happyyyyyyy)
ive been rly loving a bandanna around my wrist or arm this summer, also if you have longer hair experimment with ways to tie it up. ive found that with my wolfcut a ponytail actually makes me look more masc(in a pirate kinda way) plus keeps my hair off my neck
Men's shorts, longer loose ones. I really like cargos tbh. Short leave button ups, a little oversized. Oversized tees. A bucket hat. A cross-body sling bag. And short, short hair - I've had a classic boy-cut for 10 years and I'm not changing it any time soon.
Still on the hunt for a bra that gives decent compression. I don't really want to go full on binder, but i would really like to find some type of comfortable bra that minimizes/flattens. I'm a 42D so that completely complicates everything. 😭
omg i'm having gender euphoria already just reading the titles of your videos cause this is exactly what i'm looking for rn thank you for posting ~~~ i'm so excited to hear fellow nb advice
yay! thx for watching!!
The charli xcx dance :’)
i'm glad someone noticed 😭
These are all great pieces! One of my favorites is a light blue denim men’s button down work shirt. It’s pretty lightweight, it’s my “summer denim jacket”😁❤
PLEASE do a gender friendly gym fits video
when i have money to spend i will 😭😭😭
My list of things that make me feel cool n stuff
-tank tops/ flowy/boxy sleeveless tops (cropped)
-Short sleeve button ups
-fingerless gloves
-knee high socks (mine are compression, for medical reasons but they're cool!)
-sandels or loafers
-chokers, bonus points if paired with a pretty long necklace
-SO MANY BRACELETS specifically cord and rlly wide leather ones
-bandas!
-baseball caps, I have a black denim and a blue denim one
- 2 small braids behind my ears, it makes me feel so good, and looks great when pulled out while the rest of my hair is in something
-tote bag ofc
-... carabiner clip on my shorts belt loop
-jorts, cargo shorts and work/carpenter shorts
every single time you mention jorts i start mentally singing jort storm (help me)
it's a disease
I NEEDED THIS THANK YOUUUU!!!
Thankfully we have great cooling at my house, so I could wear my binder whenever I want- sorry to the people who can't- i hope everyones doing alright 🙏
bandanas seem so cool
I’d love a workout fit vid!!
5:28 okayyy you go. Love the bandana on u
tank tops and shorts and bandanas !! i been waiting so long and Ive gotten pass wearing T shirts and now I cant just not wear anything but tank tops
i have the same sandals!!
twinssssss!
My essentials:
Tank tops
Oversized graphic tees
Jean shorts, but veering more towards the itty-bitty side 😂 my fave length is upper-thigh and cuffed
Athletic shorts of various lengths
Baggy lightweight trousers - I have a couple that are basically joggers but with lighter fabric, and I also have a pair of black wide-leg ones
Honestly, I've also been wearing my jeans a lot this summer because the weather where I am has been deeply disappointing
Mini skirts
Those shorts that go under your skirt to prevent chub rub, because I have thick thighs
Baseball cap/trucker hat/snapback
Bomber jacket
nice nice thx for sharing ur list hehehe ❤️
@@irisolympia thanks for making this video!
also those sandals rock i might b a sandal convert idk..
I have the Dr. Martens gladiator sandals with the zip front, a bit more of a punk vibe but I love them. Weekend wear for me, not appropriate for my job sadly.
I also got a couple of "grandpa collar" hemp / cotton long sleeve shirts on ebay. The shipping was expensive (from the UK, I'm Canadian) but I love them for work and they breathe really well.
I also have some minimizer bras that are mostly cotton with a bit of spandex that are really comfortable on hot days.
i hope you are doing okay!!
thank u 🥹
I missed the premiere rip
Where did you get your bandana ? I really like it
I'm cis, but I prefer a more masc style, I'm kinda starting to not like dresses that much (except when we go to a nice restaurant or something 😅) I'm still young so I can't do much, but your videos are helping me❤️
I'd say men's shorts just because I like the length more, button ups are very gender to me, overalls, keen sandals I really love, bigger fanny packs (feels gender to me), blunstone boots are my babies and surprisingly breezy in summer and converse.
hi iris ❤ i love your videos, im kinda new to dressing adro but i love it when i do. also, what is the name of the haurcut u have, i wanna get one like that
i have a wolfcut/short shag w/ curtain bangs 🥰
@@irisolympia tysm! I've been looking for a good gender neutral haircut, and urs looks so good
✨stellar✨
thank u!

Hey guys, do you have any recomendations for online shops like aelfric eden? Similar price range and androgynous and fashionable pieces of clothing. Thanks!
i’m gonna complain here in the hopes someone can help me lol. so. help!! fashion crisis!! i love the _idea_ of long shorts/jorts/cargo shorts, but i have really wide hips and thighs and i feel like it always emphasises them and makes me look less andro and more girl-failing-at-tomboy. i’ve avoided shorts for years now, my legs r vit d deficient i’m sure. any tips or thoughts?? 😭🙏
Yeah jorts are so iris
Does the intro mean you are moving
Since when are sunglass shapes genderd???
