There are many ways to skin a cat. Lasso is a good one for hard to open cars. Home depot sells air bags to shim windows. Or car doors.
Hi Jet. My keys were in the ignition. And the car was locked. I thought my spare keys would open the car. It didn’t. For some reason placing the keys in the ignition, the car doesn’t allow even the spare key to unlock it. I tried placing the key in door or also, remote unlock it. It didn’t work. Would jiggling it work really don’t know. Maybe it’s a safety thing, one key is in ignition it thinks the driver is in the car so disables even spare keys to work.
I have a transponder key I always carry, then I have one with that has the transponder broken off for some reason... but it unlocks the door, the transponder is needed to turn the engine

For everyone complaining about car thieves watching this, car thieves are usually equipped for this or use a brick or a piece of a spark plug to bust your windows, less time consuming.

Yeah a ring of car thief's busted my daughter's window with a spark plug and wiped her out in under 10 minutes with her less than 50 feet from the car. Got a Michael Kors handbag that was buried under stuff in the back seat. They got the lady that was parked next to her also and her wallet was pushed under the driver's seat. They also have a group that is around the Cincinnati area that has a master key that can unlock and start your car with a push of a button. These people are sadly professional. They come equipped and know what they are doing they aren't looking for UA-cam videos to figure it out.

All the people who have tried breaking into my car must not have watched your video with these useful tips and tools. All they keep doing is scratching the heck out of my door. Apparently the 2011 Toyota Corolla has a big reputation for easy access to break in. I do find their failed attempts somewhat humorous. Imagine being bad at doing dumb things.
Get “The Club” in some fluorescent green color…that will help to deter the thieves.

Will this work for a 2008 Toyota camry car? Using any key that may fit in? I don't have time to order a jiggler key that's why

I'm an automotive locksmith and find this a bit silly. Someone is going to lock their keys in their car but have these handy? These are also not good for the wafers inside your lock. Anyone reading this with an older Honda comment how using your locks stopped working using your regular key let alone doing this. We are almost too busy so not trying to push people into calling a locksmith. Just giving my honest opinion. You would be better off having a car unlocking tool and an airbag. We do 75-150 calls per week believe it or not. Most calls the people aren't at home either. Usually at a place of business. We also get calls for broken keys still inside locks. If that happens now you have created a repair. The best advice I can give is ALWAYS have a spare key. Never rely on one key. Even if the spare is at another location you can call an Uber if you have to. We get too many lost key calls and they always say the were going to get a second key made. With transponder keys expensive as they are for a copy you are going to pay 2-300 % more for an all keys lost call vs having a duplicate made from an existing key/fob.
So this is how you do it, you...(wind takes over)...and that's it! Easy right?

What I did, I put a spare key underneath the trunk of my car. Mine, I just zipped tie the key and boom, I'm good.

So go ahead and carry around a 20 dollar set of rock keys at all times to make sure you can use em to pick a lock if you forget your actual keys....? And go ahead and do a test of 5 or 10 in a row of different model cars man, guarantee the rocker key is very similar to the cars actual key otherwise you could at the least switch keys on the rockers.

I wanna say thank you so much! I tried this method with my Toyota Corolla 97. I was extremely nervous and Did not have any spare key or jiggle her key such as you but I did use a purposeful envelope opener and was able to successfully get back into my locked car after finding your video. Truly thank you again for your video the sound sucked but if you pay attention you’re giving us the keys no pun intended the directions to successfully unlock your car without calling AAA.

This is called "the master key" technique! I was doing this as a little punk kid in the 90s. Works for ingitions as well

Had to beg and beg and beg for him to finally take $270.People have no humanity in them, and we are in the middle of the pandemic when people are losing their jobs. I had those keys in high school days. One day while school was in session me and my buddy skipped class and opened up a silverado over at the parking lot. We took an indash and some small subwoofers and still kindly locked the teuck back up n took off. Great keys. Jiggler keys I believe they are called. Great tool srry about my bad behavior I was young n wreckless but I would never do that now as an adult.

I am a locksmith and this is what I do.
If you pay for car insurance CHECK YOUR INSURANCE BENEFITS I locked my keys in the car twice and didnt even know my car insurance gave free locksmith service just want to let everyone know. I know its hard to think when you panic from this situation
