Hi chef, I made this for my vegetarian friends last night….. « the best vegetarian dish they’ve ever tasted ». Amazing, easy to make, full flavours and presentation…. Thank you for sharing
That looks amazing. However, I am confused. Is it a dessert or mains, because there is a lot of sweetness? Instead of the sweet nuts, and to add more substance, what other vegetable would go great with the carrot?
Only sweet things are nuts and carrot roll, the rest is sour. So not dessert at all. You need these nuts there, or then you have to adjust taste of the gek or sauce.
Incredible recipe! Definitely gonna make this. Regarding plating, isn't the plate a bit too big for this dish? Too much empty space seems like a big no no, am I wrong?
The point is I don't want you to follow any grams. I do it on purpose...you have to learn how to cook and how to create a taste not how to copy recipes. That is my philosophy
@@ChefMajk As an appetizer, sure. But vegetarians would not consider this a meal. And would not waste time making this. I was a vegetarian for 13 years. Since we don't eat meat and fish, we need to get our vegetable proteins from sources like grains, beans and so on. Or we get sick quickly. Being a vegetarian takes more work than just eating some carrots ;)
@@ChefMajk I understand. And as I said as an appetizer it would work. But if you want to cook a meal for a vegetarian you have to know they wouldn't consider this a meal. Doesn't matter how fine dining it is. Being a vegetarian is no joke. It takes planning and thinking before constructing a proper vegetarian meal. This recipe would be considered a snack to a vegetarian. Not really dining. A vegetarian can't just eat a quick burger or some liver-pâte spread on bread and call that a meal like other people can. Vegetarians start to feel week very quickly if they don't get proper vegetable proteins from for ex lentils, beans, chickpeas and grains. People expecting vegetarians to just eat carrots and salad is an offense to a vegetarian. I met this all the time in restaurants when I was a vegetarian. And as a chef one of your main tasks is also to create a satisfying meal, not only to the pallet. Otherwise, it's just food cosmetics. Cheers.

Hy, where i can find ingrenduent list and the full recipe?
Nowhere
Do you use it as thickening agent if yes why simply don't use corn flour
Corn starch gives you different texture and make the color different

No

I got all my plates in the shops in my town. I think you are overthink it a bit, just go out and look for them or ordem them online.

@CT2507 Good, but this is not a fitness channel where I teach how to be healthy, but rather a fine dining cooking channel. 😃

This recipe looses most vitamins and minerals and fiber from carrots. Its too processed food.
This is not a channel about fitness food, but about fine dining...you may look elsewhere for healthy recipes. 😄
ye this has nothing to do with cooking anymore. i'm a chef and i despise this kind of "art cooking". it holds no value to me.
If you work in chips and fry chicken shop probably yes, no value for you from this
No meat..no eat 🤢 Still looks great though Chef 👍🏻
