The other night I made some chicken that was not my best effort, and I was not looking forward to having it for a second night. It was the perfect time to try Sasha's Chicken Patties recipe. He was definitely not kidding when he calls this the "BEST leftover chicken recipe." The chicken was moist and flavorful, and my husband didn't even recognize it from the meat we'd had two nights earlier. We both agreed: Sasha comes through again. Thank you for your creativity and the simplicity of your creations. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Wow Lauren, what an amazing feedback, thanks so much! I felt the same way about this recipe, definitely was more deliciuos and juicy than I ever expected to get from leftover chicken breast. So glad you enjoyed it guys, take care!
I made fresh chicken just to try this recipe tonight, and I was blown away by how good it tastes! Can't thank you enough for the recipe, I'm definitely adding this to my meal prep. I used half Cheddar and half shredded parmesan which turned out to be a great choice and left the bottom really crusty. Wonderful recipe!
Great recipe, very practical meal and I had all the ingredients on hand. Nice job!
Great recipe! ❤
Yummy, this is my dish tonight actually now. Thank you and your family for the good cooking 💗
Hi Sasha I am in the US and recently discovered your channel. Thanks so much for sharing all these healthy recipes. I will be making these delicious chicken patties for dinner. I will be trying all of your recipes. LOL😋
I am going to make it today.. Looks deli ... Thanks so so much for posting !!
Wow...this makes my mouth water. Will be trying this very soon!
I made these for my husband and me this evening. Instead of frying the patties, I baked them in the oven at 425F for 22 minutes, flipping them over halfway through. I sprayed them with olive oil, too. Delicious, crispy and filling! We'll have them again for dinner tomorrow night!
We're watching from the U.S. and discovered your channel just a few weeks ago. I've subscribed and I'm looking forward to making more of your recipes!
Thank you for your recipe 👌🏻👍🏻!
That sounds so good!
Cooked tonight delicious thank you.
I made this with panko and they are delicious. This is a keeper. Thanks!

Lovely handy recipe, many thanks 😊
That was amazing thanks a lot, I can eat this everyday
Looks and sounds great! I will try that next time I have chicken. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for your feedback Valerie, hope you'll enjoy these chicken patties!
I made these a few nights ago and they’re awesome. And they reheat really well in the microwave. This is going to be added to my meal prep schedule.
Hi Donna, that's great, glad you enjoyed it! Exactly, it's getting really moist after adding all the other ingredients into the mixture, and the thing is that I really enjoyed it even cold from the fridge, which never was the case with plain chicken breast.
That’s awesome, I look forward to trying it when I can.
Thanks man, it's definitely worth trying, feel free to spice it up if you like.
I had these for dinner yesterday! Very tasty! 🤤I would not have thought that you can use ground oats as breading but the King of oats convinced us once again of the contrary!
Well done! 😀
P.s.: Merry Christmas to you and your family, Sasha! 🎄
It is amazing how you utilize oats in every possible way. Thank you very much for the recipe.🙏🙏
100%agree
Thanks Shreya! You know, finding new ways to use oats in my recipes, t's so much fun to me.
@@HowToCookSmarter l made your vegetarian shepherds pie last night. I cooked it in bulk and freezesd them. 7good size servings $23 it’s good
@@mcanultymichelle Wow, that's great, love that lentil dish!

I've missed your wonderful videos Sasha (I've been away without internet 😮), but this is a wonderful video to return to! As ever, TFS my friend. Take care. 👍💖
Hi there Hazel, it great to have you back, I missed your wonderful comments as well, this one is the easy one, not sweet this time (not everyone likes my savory recipes, but having leftover chicken in my fridge made me wanted to give it a try with this recipe. Take care and enjoy your weekend!
Thank you. Mine turned out nice.
I made it and was delicious.
They look delicious!! I will make this for dinner tomorrow🤗
Thanks Liz! That would be great, let me know how you liked it.
I have made these this morning because I had cooked chicken breast to use up. I ate one for lunch. Great recipe, thank you. 😋😋
Those look very good!
Both are great they are both winners
It looks great!
Thanks Gina!
I love how he explains everything
Thanks for your feedback Fayma!
This is a great recipe! Thank you so much ,I added some grilled pepper inside. I think adding a yellow cheese or a salty goat cheese could help it a lot with the flavour.i did mine with mozzarella but next time definitely I will try cheddar or feta. Thank you so much ❤️
Thanks
Wow so yumm
Do you have a recipe for your sauce? I didn't see it on your channel. Planning to try this recipe tonight.
Now I know what’s for dinner tonight! 😊 thank you
Hope it turned out delicious for you!
It looks absolutely delicious. I will definetely try your recipe Sasha. ❤️
Thanks Anna-Lena, I guess it will be easy to remember this recipe, you know when you see some leftover chicken sitting in your fridge, you'll know what to do, works for me all the time:)
JUST MADE THIS WITH A CHICKEN I SMOKED , I USED CORN FLAKE CRUMBS , JUST AMAZING ,
Omg yes!!!
Cooking with leftovers feels so inspiring, right
This looks delicious, and one way to use the leftover chicken breast. Which, if I get a rotisserie chicken, is always the last part I eat. My favorite parts are the thighs, so I usually buy just chicken thighs instead of a whole chicken.
Exactly, it's the same thing here, kids love wings and thighs, I like all the carcass... so the chicken breast is always eaten the day after, so I definitely had a new idea how to use it up... When bbq the chicken we always go for boneless chicken thighs.
yes yes yesssssss!!!!! A savory winner. For me time consuming is everything cos of busy schedules and this is an absolute winner not only its quick but also healthy and tasty . Thank you Sashaaaaaaa!!! stay healthy..
I know, it's summer time and we all need something sweet and cold, but this recipe is truly a saver with all that leftover chicken (or other meat) sitting in the fridge, honestly can't remember when I enjoyed the leftovers that much. Thanks Sylvia, stay healthy!
Do you have salmon patties recipe too ?
Could probably substitute the chicken for cooked salmon
You can make these out of any leftover meat or fish you have on hand.
@@HowToCookSmarter, Thank you
@@palomanyoka1343 thank you
Best channel ever !!!! Thank you so many bunches.
Thanks so much for supporting!
Yum 😋 can you suggest replacements for the dairy ingredients?
Vegan yogurt and yeast flakes for the cheese flavor perhaps? 🙂
These look really good. Could they be done in air fryer?
Thanks Bev! Definitely, but haven't tried it yet so can't say for how long to air fry these.
Do you have the recipe for tartar sauce with yoghurt? It would be helpful if you could provide one.
I made this one without any special recipe, but yes, I will post it down in the video description.
Yum! What a great idea!
Thanks Jessica!
Ohh yum! Nice work 👍☺ Would there be a way to replace the cheese? I'm can't eat cheese, and all the 'cheese' substitutes made from soy and nuts have too many additives and taste horrible lol
I really hate mustard 🙈 any suggestions on a replacement?
Hey S, I try to avoid frying so how long do you think these would take in the oven? 20 minutes 180C?
Hi! Yes, that would be fine, I bake my lentil patties for the exact same time.
Look amazing....how long to you need to fry them for 😊
1:40 "...fry them over medium heat for about 5 minutes per side."
You don't have to worry much because the chicken is cooked already
Thanks! You can cook yours for less than 5 minutes per side, it will be even more juicy, but I like that crispy crust.
Thank you ❤
I'm going to try this with ground pork rinds instead of oats! Also, I will mix bone marrow with sour cream for a dip. (I'm a carnivore.) Then, I will fry in lard or bacon grease.
I would eat mine with some Yum Yum sauce😊
If the chicken is cold, is this sufficient time for the chicken to re-heat thoroughly please? They look delicious by the way. I don't like mustard very much, so could I add a curry powder instead?
I did this cold, no problem for me.
Ha! Great recipe and sound effects! Fingers tapping and knife scratching!
See, that I forgot, to some sound effect on that finger tapping, it was fun to make this video. Thanks Loril!
Anyone knows the macros in this
This recipe is amazing 👏.
New subscriber here and will check the other recipes as well. 😊
I have leftover cooked turkey in the freezer. This could be the perfect recipe to use it up! 😁 Thanks Sasha you are a genius! 👏 👏 🍽 👍
Hi Lizz! Yeah, that turkey in your freezer would make delicious turkey patties that's for sure! Thanks for your kind words!
Healthy butterscotch pudding...plzzzz
Thanks for suggesting!
😊
The chicken-burgers came out good. The first three got fried a little too hot, which charred one side. Barbara liked them and I admit to wolfing down TWO, even tho they’re way off my vegan no-oil diet.
For these last four I turned the frying pan heat down a notch. They’re evenly browned on both sides. These go into a Tupperware in the fridge. We can nuke them tomorrow, no problem!
❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊
Thank you for including metric measurements, it’s so frustrating having the majority of recipes online in cups
Not to worry I like the cup and spoon measurements. Don’t know how to measure grams . I would need weight everything with a microscopic scale 😂
How does this turn out if you just throw everything into a food processor or blender? 🤔
I guess it would be really packed, easier to dry out, but why not, can't go bad when dry chicken breast is your starting point:)
@@HowToCookSmarter Do you think soaking the chicken in some chicken stock before blending could help with dryness, if I wanted to bled it?
I know the yoghurt helps a lot already.
@@Zeverinsen I don't think you need to soak the chicken if you blend it out, just try to cook for little less time than I did.
The one time I don't have chicken in the house! I will try this recipe as soon as I can, it looks delicious!
Same! I can never eat a whole bird I usually attack the thighs first and breast always gets left behind. It's a nice idea to use
Exactly, and I think it's a better way to enjoy that leftovers than making some pasta out of it.
Yeah, this is a great back-up recipe:)
Wow! New sub here! I recently made a Roasted Chicken on my page too and *your dish looks amazing!* Hope to stay connected! 😀
Thanks for joining Chef Vic! Will check out your recipe.
nice e!! maybe some crumbled bacon?.
Sure, can't go wrong with bacon:)
You can use canned chicken, saves on prep time
Bet you can as long as it’s 4 cups when chopped. 😊
450 grams of canned chicken will cost a lot...
Leftover? if you don’t have of those left ingredients, why don’t you make simple recipe instead of bulk of ingredients. 😆
