    The other night I made some chicken that was not my best effort, and I was not looking forward to having it for a second night. It was the perfect time to try Sasha's Chicken Patties recipe. He was definitely not kidding when he calls this the "BEST leftover chicken recipe." The chicken was moist and flavorful, and my husband didn't even recognize it from the meat we'd had two nights earlier. We both agreed: Sasha comes through again. Thank you for your creativity and the simplicity of your creations. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

      Wow Lauren, what an amazing feedback, thanks so much! I felt the same way about this recipe, definitely was more deliciuos and juicy than I ever expected to get from leftover chicken breast. So glad you enjoyed it guys, take care!

    I made these for my husband and me this evening. Instead of frying the patties, I baked them in the oven at 425F for 22 minutes, flipping them over halfway through. I sprayed them with olive oil, too. Delicious, crispy and filling! We'll have them again for dinner tomorrow night!

    I made fresh chicken just to try this recipe tonight, and I was blown away by how good it tastes! Can't thank you enough for the recipe, I'm definitely adding this to my meal prep. I used half Cheddar and half shredded parmesan which turned out to be a great choice and left the bottom really crusty. Wonderful recipe!

    I just happen to have leftover chicken. So I googled what to do with leftover chicken, and your recipe was the first to pop up. Sooo I will be trying this tonight. I like the fact that it is easy and it uses ingredients I always have on hand.

    Made this tonight and I was SO SURPRISED how tasty it came out. I did not have oats, so substituted Italian bread crumbs. Also made a Chic-fil-A style dipping sauce found on youtube. (Even though I never ate Chic-fil-A!) It was all VERY tasty. So Happy - now I know what to do with leftover chicken breast meat! THANK YOU!!!

    Made these tonight, pretty much exactly the same recipe except I used regular flour instead of oat as I didn't have any. I also rolled in panko bread crumbs and added some lemon zest to the mixture. They were very yummy. Definitely the best way to use up leftover chicken.

      Hi Donna, that's great, glad you enjoyed it! Exactly, it's getting really moist after adding all the other ingredients into the mixture, and the thing is that I really enjoyed it even cold from the fridge, which never was the case with plain chicken breast.

    This looks delicious, and one way to use the leftover chicken breast. Which, if I get a rotisserie chicken, is always the last part I eat. My favorite parts are the thighs, so I usually buy just chicken thighs instead of a whole chicken.

    • @HowToCookSmarter
      @HowToCookSmarter  2 роки тому

      Exactly, it's the same thing here, kids love wings and thighs, I like all the carcass... so the chicken breast is always eaten the day after, so I definitely had a new idea how to use it up... When bbq the chicken we always go for boneless chicken thighs.

    The chicken-burgers came out good. The first three got fried a little too hot, which charred one side. Barbara liked them and I admit to wolfing down TWO, even tho they’re way off my vegan no-oil diet.
    For these last four I turned the frying pan heat down a notch. They’re evenly browned on both sides. These go into a Tupperware in the fridge. We can nuke them tomorrow, no problem!
