You're a hypocrite for saying Christians assume God exists when you assume (given you believe in history) that Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle existed. All that was left of them was writing. Al arguments you list, are just made up falsehoods with no evidence preached by Lennox. 1. Science exists on its own by the research and discoveries of scientists --- no god necessary. 2. Logical thinking clearly shows that no evidence exists for any god. 3. Morality is a social construct, all different from society to society --- no god involved. 4. The meaning of life is determined by each individual for him/herself --- no god is needed. 5. Justice is a relative term: No evidence exists for life after death or for any Jesus.

This wasn't the strongest speech I've seen Lennox (or anybody) give for why God exists. But there is a great subtlety to what Lennox was doing that most commentators here seem to have missed. They complain that he did not provide any scientific or mathematical evidence, completely missing that Lennox has end-run around that by arguing that 1) the existence of God is the only reason that the universe is rationally intelligible, and 2) God is a personal being and therefore we encounter Him most profoundly not through rational argument but through personal relationship. Lennox wasn't attempting to provide scientific evidence for God. He was challenging the epistemological assumptions of materialistic atheism. He said it right at the end: these are my reasons for why God should be trusted. Not merely that God exists, but why God is trustworthy to be in relationship with.

God in fact does exist but he is not classified into a gender, in our cosmos, our universe. There could be other forms of life, a manifestation of the ultimate being of god. If god were to choose our circumstances we would be void of the sun collapsing, dark matter entitling our whole universe, and we would experience heaven as we know it. Christianity began as sun worship, the stories about Jesus are symbolic. He is just a personification of the sun, made into a god figure later on. The sun "dies" for 3 days on December 22nd, the winter solstice, when it stops its movement south, to be born again or resurrected on December 25th, when it resumes its movement north. In some areas, the calendar originally began in the constellation of Virgo, and the sun would therefore be "born of a Virgin" The sun rising in the morning is "the saviour of mankind" The sun is "The light of the World" The sun "walks on water" is just the reflection of the sun on water/the sea. "He cometh on clouds, and every eye shall see him", is just sun rays. Jesus' "crown of thorns" is just the sun's glare, also know as a halo. The sun's "followers", "helpers" or "disciples" are the 12 months and the 12 signs of the zodiac or constellations, through which the sun must pass. The sun at 12 noon is in the house or temple of the "Most High": thus.."he" begins "his Father's work" at "age" 12. The sun enters into each sign of the zodiac at 30 degrees, hense, the "Sun of God" begins his ministry at "age" 30. The sun is hung on a cross or "crucified", which represents its passing through the equinoxes. The vernal equinox being Easter, at which time it is then resurrected. The reason why saviour myths are so similar with a godman who is crucified and resurrected, who does miracles and has 12 disciples, is that these stories were based on the movements of the sun through the heavens, an astrotheological development that can be found throughout the planet, because the sun and the 12 zodiac signs can be observed around the globe. In other words, Jesus Christ and all the others upon whom this character is predicated are personifications of the sun, and the Gospel fable is merely a rehash of a mythological formula revolving around the movements of the sun through the heavens. ..
@Nathan Nitai Das What’s more believable? That the Jesus story is a rehash of Astro fables or that some dude was actually born of a virgin and is the son of the Hebrew god. Well, I spoke to Zeus and he assures me that Yahweh is fake and that the Greeks are the real “chosen people”.

Crown of thorns is the Halo..... huh? "The sun is hung on a cross or "crucified", which represents its passing through the equinoxes." The funny bit about this is that real crucifixion in the 1st Century wouldn't have been on a cross as we think of it; which debunks this whole idea. If you go back in time, and actually saw Jesus's execution or that of anyone else in that century, it wouldn't have been on a cross. This is veriable, you can find evidence for what I've said. Over half of this requires the person reading to have little knowledge of history or take the specific things mentioned at face value.
@@Gamefan86 You deceive yourself. Yes, 12 is symbolic all through the bible. 12 tribes, 12 stones 12 disciples, oh and there is 12 notes in music. The symbol 12 came from God , not man. The sun was created by God actually Jesus. 1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning-the first day. John 1:1-5 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. The word is another term for Jesus. You can make those correlations but that its more because of Jesus being real and they are a refection of him, not the other way around. Truth is If you look at the sun you can destroy your eyes. If you look to Jesus your eyes (mind) are opened. Anything that gets too close to the sun is destroyed whereas with Jesus you will have eternal life.. Actually Christianity is branched out from the Jewish faith. Jesus was of Jewish faith, He referred himself as the vine and hid followers the branches Most religions even acknowledge his existence. Jesus had lived, not is symbolic. God of the Jews is the God of the Christians. The Messiah is prophesied in the Old Testament/ Torah, written way before Jesus day. He fulfilled them all. The Jews will dispute that. Why would they dispute about a man being the long awaited Messiah if did not exist? No one has disputed his existence. The Jews could. It would be to there benefit of their faith. Falsify: Religion is a funny thing. I'm on here, as an atheist, in an attempt to better understand theism. How many theists attempt to educate themselves on a different position to that of 'God made everything?' The trouble with religion is that it cannot falsify itself. There's nothing to work with. If we found a black polar bear, the statement, "all polar bears are white" would be falsified. This is the very basic nature of science. Always looking to prove itself wrong. When you can no longer prove anything to be wrong in a particular field, you've got a good chance, not a definite certainty, that you're correct. All religion cannot do this. It's impossible. Omniscient and free will: Please can someone help me with my faith? I'm struggling. If God is omniscient, eternal and omnipresent, how could he have free will too? As in, if he knows exactly what will happen at any point in time, then how can he have free will to make any choice? I'm not God therefore I might have beef for my dinner, but I could change my mind. If all events are laid out already and God knows what they are before they happen, how can he have any choice in the matter?

In the end those are all abrahamic religions who all praise the same God, they only refer to different books, which all came from God in different times to bring us down to the right path everytime faith faded away.
Atheism inevitably leads to nihilism, which is an unpleasant worldview, and this is why they resort to the attacks. Even though they don't believe, I suspect that deep down, having no eternal truth and no connecting to a greater mystical body is unsettling. They can't or won't believe using logic, so the gut reaction is to lash out. I was an atheist for 40 years. I get it.
"Since man is not omniscient or infallible, you have to discover what you can claim as knowledge and how to prove the validity of your conclusions." -Ayn Rand-
I have a chilling feeling that it all comes down to this " Who do you say I am? " We want answers. We can't have them. Believe or not, it's still faith. No one knows. But if the God of the universe asked that question, it implies that in some strange way, the only answer the almighty is interested in is the one that can't be proven.
@@angusmacangus3181 watched the whole thing, it was painful ( do you believe in your eyes or do you believe in what I'm telling you to believe? ) kind of debate. John Lennox might as well be telling you to believe in fairies or unicorns the debate would be the same.
It's funny how the concept of nothing is never fully comprehended. For nothing to truly be nothing it not only must be devoid of not just matter but concept as well, and here in lay the problem. the moment nothing is associated with something, it ceases to be nothing by association so there for there is no such a thing as nothing. everything is something.
ADAM YOUNG The ninth century theist Scotus Erigena alleged God existed as something. Said God was also claimed to be nothing, because the God was not an object. A superposition, I guess, at least, for good old Scot. In maths, there is the concept of a null, which cannot be placed on a number line.
1. If the universe needs a Cause to exist, why doesn't God? 2. If god can exist with out cause. Why can't the universe? 3. Aren't we taking the rules of the universe, applying them to a time before the universe, where they may not apply?
1- Becuase he's god! Duh-uh! I've defined him not needing a cause, therefore he doesn't! It's really simple logic YoU aThEiStS deny in your sin. 2- Because the universe isn't god, you silly! 3- God can make it with magic. /s EDIT: I made this for humor, but than I red a message for real claiming just that... sometime comments can make one hope for humankind so low, oh! so low.
The third of your questions is probably the most difficult one for theists to properly answer. We have no reason to believe that an environment which pre-existed the universe should in any way resemble the universe. If cause-effect relations are constitutive of the universe, to the extent where the latter can be defined as the totality of all such relations, it is reasonable to believe that they did not pre-date the universe but rather were themselves a product, but of this is the case it follows that the universe cannot be an effect, which indicates that it does not have a cause. However, we could go one step further and ask whether cause-effect relations are even something we find in the universe, or whether they’re something we project onto it (e.g. in order to get around what David Hume identified as the problem of ‘constant conjunction’ in which we can only say that event b came after event a, and not that b was *caused* by a).
Whether we take theistic position or atheistic position, we agree on one thing that something can exist without a cause. Theistic position is God is the first with no cause and creator. Atheistic position is something else is the beginning like universe. So the real question is who it is? Is He God? Or is it the Universe. What makes more sense? Another important question is what is Universe according to you? Is Univers pre big bang or something post big bang?
@@seekhoarseekhao7196 "we agree on one thing that something can exist without a cause" It's not really that we agree on that. And I speak for me, I can't do that for ALL atheists. What I agree with is we can't eliminate possibilities and therefore declare one over the other being true, there could be possibilities we don't know and perhaps possibilities we will never know. And what I agree with is we are still applying mechanics valid in the universe but we don't really know if they are a property appliable as a general principle. "Theistic position is God is the first with no cause and creator. Atheistic position is something else is the beginning like universe" Not only that, for that reason you should refrain from applying principle to "atheists" thinking as a monolith. For example, there's the possibility "beginning of the universe" makes no sense, like asking wht's north of northpole. "So the real question is who it is? Is He God? Or is it the Universe. What makes more sense?" Why it has to be a "who"? Why are you burdening your question assuming an agent? The real question is HOW it worked out, not WHO did it, and not if it makes sense to me: it doesn't really HAVE to. "Another important question is what is Universe according to you? Is Univers pre big bang or something post big bang?" Usually, but better ask because one can't really know, one refers to "universe" as the current iteration of the big bang and to "cosmo" as whatever the universe is in + the universe itself, or, in other words, all that exists.
Professor John Lennox is top on the list of Christian Apologists I listen to. He communicates the present and ultimate preeminence of Christ in the most personal way.
@Chase Williams John Lennox was a student of C S Lewis according to his statements. There is quite a number of other Christian Apologists like him. However, I have noticed that being a convinced Christian is deeper than logical defence of the gospel. For almost all the Apologists and other Christians, there's a personal experience that unfetters the heart and brings the divinity and finished work of Christ His love into an overwhelming comprehension.
@Chase Williams Hello it is now that you are asking this genuine question that I realise I have listened to many of them without necessarily following them. So each time I come across one and listen to them again I will share with you if it is okay. I wasn't born a Muslim but I am very familiar with the religion. A friend of mine who was very healthy and staunch oppose to the Christian who used to keep mocking during our school days was found lean, pale and dried physic at a Christian Prayer center. I was shock to see first him being in such physical conditions and him being at Christian prayer center. I asked him whats gotten him in such physical condition and why he being there. Low tone voice nearly whispering, he said that he was suffering from incurable diseases and that doctor has surrendered him. That's why he was in prayer center fasting. There are many who challenged the existence of God and power of super being at first and later turned into God's staunch servant after having encountered the life threatening incidents. One will find mostly such people in Christian ministry. On the basis of science and our mental faculty reasoning ability, we can make certain conclusion and proposition but there's something really beyond our own control if that's called God in every religion. That's what my life taught me.
abang ambu so no disrespect at all, but lots and lots and lots of people can turn to fasting as a wonderful healing practice without having to adopt a religion to go along with it. Religions don’t own, or even trademarked fasting. You know? That’s just how I understand your comment, when I just now read it.
maybe your friend just "fasted' too much and THAT was contributing to his physical condition. If he said he was dying, I sort of have to take his word for it, but frankly ALL OF US are dying. It's just really a question of "HOW SOON" and by what means. My dad and my brother died that way. Neither one became christians over it. they just did the best they could to face their fate. My dad was not religious but self-identified as vaguely-"protestant" when pressed to say. My brother was a fairly devout buddhist.
And many who devoutly believe and later lose faith. Your point? Your friend did not cope well with his imminent death and grasped at straws. I am facing several life-threatening conditions, facing two operations in upcoming months and I do not beieve in God and haven't believed in Jesus since I was 17 or God since I was 23. (I'm almost 62.) If your friend proves God, how do those who lose faith or continue to disbelieve on their very deathbed not disprove him. My point is your anedoctal "evidence" is evidence of nothing.
Yes people do turn to whatever they can when life hits them hard. That doesn’t give what they turned to any validity. it only proves the human desire for comfort even if it means that comfort comes form something that isn’t real.
A force you've never seen, a being that has no independent tangible evidence, a being that requires "belief" rather than understanding, I could go on. Just because you can't see it, smell it, taste it, touch it, hear it, sense it in anyway, doesn't mean it exists. Don't confuse mass hysteria with proof. Don't confuse a book written by humans, translated many many times, revised many times, to be proof of anything.

Beyond the intrinsic sense that we all have, though some successfully suppress, that there is more to this life that meets the eye. *So let us examine what science can tell us about the origins of life* We know from experiments in the fields of Astronomy, Chemistry, Geology and Meteorology that the early pre-biotic earth was filled with organic molecules, the building blocks of life. We also know that organic molecules are very common in space. We also know that early life has been extremely simple…meaning no complex protein machinery in place. Modern cells separate themselves from the environment with a lipid bilayer. The problem with modern phospholipids is that they are too good at what they do. They form a nearly impenetrable barrier. Modern cells must use proteins to move molecules across their surface. But life did not have to start with modern chemicals! The pre-biotic environment contain many simple fatty acids. Under the range of pH they spontaneously form stable vesicles and they are permeable to small organic molecules (no complex proteins are required to get stuff in). When a vesicle encounters free fatty acids in solution, it will incorporate them (eating and growth are driven purely by thermodynamics). When a vesicle grows, it adopts a tubular branched shape (because the surface are grows faster than volume), which is easily divided by natural forces (waves, currents, rocks, etc.). When this division takes place, none of the contents of the vesicle are lost. *So what about the genetic material?* Modern nucleotides are too stable and require complex machinery to replicate. But the pre-biotic environment contained hundreds of different types of nucleotides, not just DNA and RNA. All it took is 1 to self polymerize (recent experiments have shown that some of these are capable of self polymerization, such as Phosphoramidate DNA). Monomers will base pair with a single stranded template and self ligate. They can also polymerize in solution and spontaneously form new templates, or extend existing templates. *No special sequences are required, it is just chemistry! But how does this become life?* Fatty acids are permeable to nucleotide monomers but not polymers. Once spontaneous polymerization occurs within the vesicle, the polymer is trapped. Floating through the ocean the polymer containing vesicles will encounter convection currents, such as set up by hydrothermal vents. The high temperatures will separate the polymer strands and increase the membrane’s permeability to monomers. Once the temperature cools, spontaneous polymerization can occur (and the cycle repeats). The polymer, due to surrounding ions, will increase the osmotic pressure within the vesicle, stretching its membrane. A vesicle with more polymer through simple thermodynamics will “steal” lipids from a vesicle with less polymer. They essentially, “eat” each other. The vesicle that contains a polymer that can replicate faster, will grow and divide faster, and will eventually dominate the population, and now EVOLUTION can begin.

6:45 Morality requires the existence of God (A person only being more than just matter and having a fundamental value if God exists)
8:47 Meaning in life requires the existence of God (The relationship with him being the goal of life)

Your finger prints are unlike any other person on Earth. You'd be totally arrogant to think you could understand the universe with a human mind. You know your soul exists because it differs from others. The evidence you shout is the same as every other athiest. The Bible is the most historically accurate book, or document of all time. More than any other book ever. You can even Google that. Also I bet there's been a time in your life when you've felt desperate that you've said please God. The book has remained accurate through all plauges, the Holocaust, and every other mass genocide. Look at all the near death experiences. A lot of them who are doctors, scientist, and many other science believing athiest, who died go to hell, and find Jesus. Some instances they're dead for hours, or days. This makes total sense to me that the devil is very near, and if he could would banish the Bible for ever. Many countries have banned the Bible. Right now 5G is killing all kinds of birds, and bees. Monsanto is currently working on creating a genetically modified bee that only will pollinate there gmo foods. Also 70% of independent studies show 5G frequencies manipulate your thyroid into allowing harmful toxins to pass the blood brain barrier. This is no work of man alone. This has been a plan since the beginning of time. Do me a favor and look up what agenda 21 is. Then also cross reference it with the most historically accurate book of all time. The Bible. 100 years ago most people were God fearing Christian's. Did you also know that in the 1980s over 60 different companies owned the rights to media, and today it's just 6 families that put out the news. Go do some research of the FCC, and how the leader of it is chairman Ajit Pai, an ex Verizon wireless telecommunication attorney. Obama said there would be no lobbyist in his administration, and he was the first person elected into the FCC. You watch as agenda 21, and the rest of the events of the rapture become true. What's funny is last year I said the same things you're saying right here. Then I watched a documentary on UA-cam called frankenskies proved to me the devil is very real, and everything I ever thought to be true was a lie. I hope you find jesus, because he's very real, and if you allow him to come into your heart he will forgive you, just as he had mine.
In some areas, the calendar originally began in the constellation of Virgo, and the sun would therefore be "born of a Virgin"
The sun rising in the morning is "the saviour of mankind"
The sun is "The light of the World"
The sun "walks on water" is just the reflection of the sun on water/the sea.
In other words, Jesus Christ and all the others upon whom this character is predicated are personifications of the sun, and the Gospel fable is merely a rehash of a mythological formula revolving around the movements of the sun through the heavens. ..
@Nathan Nitai Das
What’s more believable?
That the Jesus story is a rehash of Astro fables or that some dude was actually born of a virgin and is the son of the Hebrew god.
Well, I spoke to Zeus and he assures me that Yahweh is fake and that the Greeks are the real “chosen people”.

"The sun is hung on a cross or "crucified", which represents its passing through the equinoxes."
The funny bit about this is that real crucifixion in the 1st Century wouldn't have been on a cross as we think of it; which debunks this whole idea.
Religion is a funny thing. I'm on here, as an atheist, in an attempt to better understand theism. How many theists attempt to educate themselves on a different position to that of 'God made everything?'
The trouble with religion is that it cannot falsify itself.
Omniscient and free will:
Please can someone help me with my faith? I'm struggling.
If God is omniscient, eternal and omnipresent, how could he have free will too?
As in, if he knows exactly what will happen at any point in time, then how can he have free will to make any choice?
I'm not God therefore I might have beef for my dinner, but I could change my mind. If all events are laid out already and God knows what they are before they happen, how can he have any choice in the matter?

I agree on you with all points.
But it is mostly the atheist who put down theist by saying that we're dumb. Or getting arrogant thinkging of themselves that they are to intelligent to believe in a God.
And me, as a believer, i see that they have a standpoint which offends God. I know that their chance of getting into heaven shrinks if they continue to live their ignorant lifes... so i often try to open their eyes. But they never understand, they say "i don't believe in fairytailes" offending God even more, putting God down as a fairytaile, as a joke. But still i never lose my patience, because anger is a tool of ghe devil and not in God's favor.
I think we the believers must hold together, no matter if jew, christian or muslim.

EDIT: I made this for humor, but than I red a message for real claiming just that... sometime comments can make one hope for humankind so low, oh!
@@seekhoarseekhao7196 "we agree on one thing that something can exist without a cause"
It's not really that we agree on that.
Atheistic position is something else is the beginning like universe"
Not only that, for that reason you should refrain from applying principle to "atheists" thinking as a monolith. For example, there's the possibility "beginning of the universe" makes no sense, like asking wht's north of northpole.
"So the real question is who it is? Is He God? Or is it the Universe. What makes more sense?"
Why it has to be a "who"? Why are you burdening your question assuming an agent? The real question is HOW it worked out, not WHO did it, and not if it makes sense to me: it doesn't really HAVE to.
"Another important question is what is Universe according to you? Is Univers pre big bang or something post big bang?"
Usually, but better ask because one can't really know, one refers to "universe" as the current iteration of the big bang and to "cosmo" as whatever the universe is in + the universe itself, or, in other words, all that exists.

That's what my life taught me.

so no disrespect at all, but lots and lots and lots of people can turn to fasting as a wonderful healing practice without having to adopt a religion to go along with it.
Those people by their suits alone make me feel dumb .

the notion that you can be made to feel stupid by articles of clothing is rather telling
May you live longer and stay stronger so you keep enlightening the minds of intellectuals. 😊🙏🏼🙌🏼😇
Why do you believe?
@@janiveija5040 , your question went unanswered, so if you will allow me, I can tell you why I believe.
My belief goes well beyond the obvious that all people know, that we live in a mind-blowingly complex existence that has an impossibly balanced ecosystem in a universe that is impossibly fine-tuned in order to even exist, with natural laws that are confoundingly reliable, all created from an explosion which would naturally create chaos and destruction, but somehow created order and beauty instead.
It goes beyond the staggering complexity and computer-like design of DNA. Beyond the intrinsic sense that we all have, though some successfully suppress, that there is more to this life that meets the eye. My belief that there is a God goes beyond the endless string of what could be called coincidences if taken individually, but impossible to intellectually be able to claim the full composite thereof as such.
My belief goes beyond the fact that for the 19 years I have known Jesus, that every promise and claim in his word I have found in my own personal life to have been upheld and true. Beyond the fact that every prophecy that has come to pass, the Bible correctly predicted. Some attempt to deny this, none have been able to make a reasonable case for. To the contrary, many who have attempted to debunk the Bible truth and these prophecies has come out on the other side given over to Jesus.
No, the primary reason that I absolutely believe to the point that I basically know that God is real is in the same way that anybody else can come to this same place. That in simply doing what I did 19 years ago, repenting of my sin, and receiving Jesus as Lord of my life in sincerity, that he in turn revealed himself to me by immediately, completely taking away the alcohol addiction that I had struggled with my entire adult life, and the depression that fed it. No coaching, no 12-step program, no hypnosis, not an ounce of willpower or effort exerted on my part. No desire for it whatsoever in all these 19 years. In that, I embarked on this 19 year relationship with him, in which he has consistently moved in ways that simply cannot be explained in the natural. Unnatural healings on my wife and kids, Supernatural blessing in my finances, guidance and direction that led to great benefit for me. And others through me.the changes in me from the fully self-absorbed man I used to be. The fulfillment and peace of mind that he gave me immediately when I received him, the night-and- day change in my life across the board. I am no one special, this is the testimony of millions of believers throughout the entire world, throughout all of time. He is no respecter of persons Jani, he loves us all the same. This planet aint fine tuned for life. And your next point which is the addiction struggle, i think you should give yourself more credit for becoming sober. You have done an amazing job with it, congratulations. I see no effort or way to measure or detect how jesus would have helped you in that. Before you attempt to use supernatural as your reason for something, you must confirm the existence of this supernatural.
@@janiveija5040 , maybe you should go back and read it again for confirmation of the supernatural... I didn't have to do a thing! This thing that I absolutely needed before I committed myself to Jesus, I instantly have absolutely no desire for on the other side of that prayer! No willpower or effort invoked whatsoever. You see, I know because it happened to me. I know that means little to you, I'm a stranger to you, it didn't happen to you. But that is why each person owes it to themself to see for themselves, that you're not chumping yourself out of eternal Paradise in exchange for hell in doing so,and all the blessings he has for you in this life.
Former hardcore atheists claim Supernatural experiences in coming to Jesus in their testimonies also. You really ought to at least check this out before you attempt to deny that which you have no experience in.
By the way, you may want to revisit your statement, "life is fine-tuned for this planet", and realize God is all up in the midst of it.
@@johnboehmer6683 Exactly, independent experiences that cant be confirmed are really not an evidence for me, as they are for you. Im afraid evolution is the phenomenon that adapts life suitable to its environment. If you claim that god is behind evolution, that unfortunately needs a confirmation.

lol after being told the truth u like to wrap urself in a security blanket of lies.🤣
*So let us examine what science can tell us about the origins of life*
We know from experiments in the fields of Astronomy, Chemistry, Geology and Meteorology that the early pre-biotic earth was filled with organic molecules, the building blocks of life.
*So what about the genetic material?*
Modern nucleotides are too stable and require complex machinery to replicate.
But how does this become life?*
Fatty acids are permeable to nucleotide monomers but not polymers.
Scientifically illiterate Lennox wouldn't have a clue what any of that means. Besides, he's so lost in his fantasy world he doesn't care.

He stated his beliefs and statements and explained why he thinks that way for each of them. It's not his fault you don't pay attention.

Haha.
Good night one!
@@MacCadalso god is just fiction😎.
God bless you Dr John..thanks for the WORD OF GOD
There is NO "Word of God". The bible is nothing more than men assuming the authority of a phony god to control others.
Dr John May be intelligent when it comes to math but that all . Nothing he says proves god. And he only believes because his indoctrination was just too strong for him to get over.
@@garywalker447 "control" bullshit. God gives us free will and a chance to live a life through him
@@rrjkss3992 God is real whether you like it or not
Will Baldene I bet you believe the earth is flat.
A very well put together gospel that summarizes our Heavenly Father’s grand plan, thanks John.
you have not the vaguest idea what the "heavenly father's grand plan" is. for all you know, it might feature you being dead by tomorrow night.
What's your point? Why say something with no point?

people who adhere to artificial versions of reality, tend to also usurp social resources and make bad decisions about how to apply them. That is why. In my social structure I find myself having to deal with them. Ironically when this topic comes up in conversation, they tend to claim that they are not involved in politics.
Which just indicates their lack of grasp of what harm they are doing to the rest of society.

WRT "...Why say something with no point?..."
preachers have been making a living that way for at least a thousand years of christendom. unlikely that it did not exist as a thing prior to common era.
Heavenly Father? Where is Heaven? Why so sexist? Could God not be a Mother or even a Turtle? Why so limiting? Does God need to gender specific? Do you need God to be a Father? Are you looking for an omnipotent Father figure in your life to give you a sense of purpose and value? is it this Father's plan to wipe out millions of people in various wars? Is it your Father's plan to have peoples fight with each other so viciously? Surely such a powerful "Being" could think of some better way? This "plan" bit is just a convenience. Should I shoot my enemies and say to the judge, "God told me to, I believe it is "his" plan?" And if the judge doesn't agree, well of course, he/she is a non-believer.
