What an excellent range test video, just what I've been searching for as I'm about? to buy a Zebra and have battery range anxiety!
This is EXACTLY how I will be pedalling the bike most of the time, many thanks for this video 👌👏😀
Cheers 👍
Glad you liked it!
@@theridewithlance yes, you did a proper range test instead of just the usual "Himiway quote 60 - 80 miles, but I doubt those figures", which is an all too common 'range test'!
Real world figures, cheers 👍
I am 5 10 and 260 lbs 75 years old and get 30 + mile PAS 2 and sometimes 3, Happy enough had hoped for more.
That is still some good range. Sounds like you get some good rides in.
Hi. Does that 30+ miles include any throttle use, or is it all under pedal power?
Cheers, and big up 👏 to you for still having fun on a bike 🚲👍😀
Wow that is awesome, you are a braver man than me there is no way I could do all that peddling, Congrats
Thanks 👍 I am a bit sore. I really didnt want to go into day 4 so I pushed til the battery said no more.
Good job lance.
Thank you.
All other e bike reviewers take note: This is how to properly and accurately perform a range test, it would be awesome if the same test was done by a lighter rider for comparison.
Yes, any lighter Zebra riders out there want to do a range test and see if you can get 60 to 80 mile range?
Hi.
Do you still plan on doing the test in PAS 2 ?
Cheers 👍
Yes, soon
@@theridewithlance I'll do a comparison probably then, I should have my own Zebra very soon 🙂
Either that or a Fiido Titan (better components).
Cheers 👍
I guess your display does not show voltage. I never trust battery bars as they do not tell you the true condition of the battery. It seems like you used half the battery in the first bar then downhill quickly.
Yes, it seems that the first bar of the battery is what got the most mileage before it dropped. After that they other bars dropped as I suspected they would, a lot quicker with less mileage then the first bar.
Hmm, a cynical person might say that Ebike manufacturers program the display to give false hopes ... 🤔
But I'm not cynical so I won't mention it 🙄😬
Is that common with how electric motors work? It's a relatively short window that the voltage works well? Or am I mistaken?
