    Great video on the range test for the Kommoda. I bought my wife a Kommoda and just to share my experience with the distance range test she's 145lbs and was able to go 26 miles and still had about 20% battery left. Full throttle was only apply for short periods at a time, most of the ride was about at 15mpr. I was surprised of how far the Kommoda travel, I my self have a BeeCool Adventure and there is no range anxiety on that bike.............Thank for the video😊

    The comment regarding the scenery? That would be me. Mad appreciation for the time lapse and getting to see more of the landscape you ride on while you do your range test and the mansion was a nice added bonus. As for that display, that might be a deal breaker for me, going backwards on the percentage like that. Great video, keep up the good work.

    i like the "worst range scenario" for mileage. also liked the sped-up photography. made it feel like watching video game! nice job 😎

    So glad you switched into the right lane before the video ended. 😂
    Just a heads up, as I just watched your review video too. I took my multitool out with me and I got the same small movement from the adjustable handlebar after making sure it was tight before my first ride. Gave it a quick turn with the Allen key and hey presto, it's solid as a rock now.

    Nice bike, I like that you've taken an already comfortable bike and rigged it for more comfort. If you've thought about any further upgrades I'd be curious to see you switch out the knobby tires for some basically flat tread road tires and do a comparison video. You could use footage from this vid and compare speed, road noise, and handling to the new tires. That thing sounds like a combine going down the road at speed. I've got a Sondors Fold X so it has some similar qualities.

    This is the frame i like the most but 14ah is a dealbreaker for me and i dont want to have to buy /carry a second batt. By the time you spend $2400 for the bike and another $650 for a second batt , you are in over $3000 which puts you up against a whole different class of ebikes .

    "Worst-case range test" seems pretty descriptive, and it always helps to know what that number is! I have 5 batteries, and pick the size depending on how far I'll be going. Speed makes a huge difference, and if I'll be going over 30mph, I know to use a bigger battery. The Kommoda is a good looking bike, especially in that color.

    Thank you. I really appreciate videos like this….I did notice,on my RAD wagon 3,I get much more range on warm & hot days. Has anyone else noticed this?

    • @fasteddie9877
      @fasteddie9877 2 роки тому +1

      I have a rad and have not noticed this, but cold weather usually decrease battery power as a general rule. But I think it would have to be pretty cold to effect it that you wouldn’t normally be riding in that kind of weather anyway. I don’t think warm weather would give you any performance boos out of the battery, they heat up on their own after a couple minute to a higher temperature then the ambient air temp.

    • @Altema22
      @Altema22 2 роки тому

      I get about 10 to 20% less range on very cold days, and about 30% less if it's below 10°F. If it it's that cold, I have a battery that goes inside my rear rack bag, so that helps keep the battery a bit warmer. An insulated battery cover helps for the stock battery, and they are available on Etsy.

      @@Altema22 I can believe it. I know my Mileages drop off drastically the colder it is.

    If you buy 2 right now you get 300 off and free shipping. No Grey available i got a red and a blue for 4,693$ looks like a great fit for most people. Don't take a sharp turn w the corresponding pedal down is the only glitch I've seen so far.

    I like the Kommoda's styling a lot. You won't find many dual suspension step-through commuters that come standard with a rear rack at this price range. Unfortunately that 14AH battery seems too anemic by today's standards and that's a deal-breaker for me. 10 miles from home is too short distance to start having range anxiety. I'm sure you could DIY a second battery but that's not an option for me if I want to keep the rear rack. Guess I'll have to forego dual suspension for something that has a beefier 20AH battery.

    • @BkBk-gy6vr
      @BkBk-gy6vr Рік тому

      Ill take the dual suspension any day over the 20amp battery. Carrying a power brick with ac outlets and my charger so when we stop for lunch or whenever Ill charge up enough to make 5 to 6 hrs out of the day and my arse and back will feel great.

    I bought my wife the aventon sinch step through folding bike and she loves it. I really like that bike but want something different just to change things up and compare. I am torn from this kommoda or the lectric x premium. I would love your thoughts as to what bike you would go with.

    Another good video thank you, the bike sure looks good, but I still think it's overpriced, definitely need a bigger battery for that kind of money

  • @fasteddie9877

    I like this bike also, but if you had to chose between this one, the bee cool pathfinder and the Aventon, what do you chose… I think I would still pick the Aventon, unless you told me that the Cyrusher or the beecool was so much more comfortable because of the rear suspension.

    • @BkBk-gy6vr
      @BkBk-gy6vr Рік тому

      Of course, the Ctrusher will be night and day more comfortable than a non rear suspension bike.

    I really want this bike! I’m a 71 year old woman with fibromyalgia, so I really need the double suspension. I pull a teardrop camper that doesn’t have a rear bumper for a bike rack. How crazy would I be to put a hitch receiver on the front of my Yukon Denali? Any suggestions for a bike rack other than Hollywood? Thanks for helping me!

      Most that I've seen do not have torque arms on the rear axle, they usually do have little torque washers though. I had that happen to me once because my axle nuts were not tight enough. You can always add aftermarket torque alarm they sell kits on Amazon
