The legion go works extremely well, and none of the many issues I experienced with the ally are present, I had 3 of those god damn things
Own or owned the SD, SD OLED, Ally and Go. I returned the Go but it's probably one of my favorite of the bunch really, much better than the Ally.
@@VisceralMonkey504 then why would u return it
@@bradenmoore7432lmao exactly 😂
I love my legion go. It's officially my goto since the controller update. It's getting better with all of the patches & updates. Good comparison, keep up the good work.
Glad you have liked it.
And we do agree that they have improved the Legion Go since its release.
Legion go is a tablet too, not just a gaming device
Can you play android games on it?
@@Cub__yes both systems run full windows, bluestacks and others will work for it same as a desktop or laptop also emudeck or emulation station and retro arch for gba etc
@@MMOSRS Nice, do you have a Legion Go? I have the OG Deck for about 1.5 years and Im thinking about getting a GO
@@Cub__ yes I have both rog ally z1 extreme & legion go now aswell since I am never home anymore to get to actually enjoy my consoles and gaming pcs (unless I keep them turned on to use steam link) which I rather just take the play on the go and let my computers rest , I avoided the steam deck once I heard it couldn’t smoothly run helldivers as well as the ally on 25w mode , then I saw the legion go screen size and got it for $500 but then found out it has no vrr sadly which would have made it the golden handheld for me besides what people say about the weights
Sold my Steam Deck for a Lenovo Legion Go. It's the best decision I've made. I absolutely love the thing. The screen alone is the selling point, and although most games won't run @1600p, its no slouch. It would be nice to have VRR and HDR however the device offers too much to not dislike it.
Thanks for sharing your insight.
Legion Go is an awesome device great battery, screen, and performance.
Great battery?Doesn't sound like the legion go
Luv how he says more refined for msi but the claw does not have a kick stand where the Legion go does, a 2nd usb c port on the Legion go so u can charge it and use ar glasses like xreal or what ever can't do that with one usb c port may e with adapters but more to carry. Also a way bigger screen at 144hz lolllll Ughh that's OK I'll keep my go and xreal air 2 pro.
Cause he is just talking 💩 by MSI
It's the wrong time to compare, because MSI Prototype have better specs than the one of that will be for sale.
Final version of Claw won't have Thunderbolt 5 and 32.GB RAM among other things.
Anyway. I own a Legion Go and it's perfect for me as it's a Laptop Handheld.
Which PC handheld that has a gyro?
Both of them.
Nahhh i wont buy that !! Still Legion Go im still loving it all my games run smooth no problem and the battery just buy power bank thats it ❤❤❤❤❤❤
For the average user I would say the ROG Ally is the best option at the moment aside from a Steam Deck Oled but if you are like me and have big hands and have bad eyesight the bigger size and screen of the Legion Go is the best current option the MSI Claw seems to be competing directly with the ROG Ally and not the Legion Go.
Honestly my only issues with the Legion Go are the following in no particular order.
Terrible speakers worst I have ever heard.
Terrible battery life barely lasts 1:30 minutes although I am plugged most of the time anyways
No VRR makes the 144hz mode utterly useless because you will not be hitting frames that high and the high resolution screen is useless as well because in most games you will run them at much less than max.
I had stream deck,Rog ally and go but after playing with removable controller from legion go I decided not to buy claw because removable controller is so comfortable and covinent
Thanks for sharing your experience.
Seems like most biased comparison I’ve seen. I’m not a legion fan (I’m steam deck all the way) but this video seems very much like a fanboy who compares real-life performance of legion against an “optimal performance” of an “yet to be verified” product. 2hr battery on msi product needs to be ‘proven’ considering the performance ‘promised’. People need to understand better performance means less battery life. That’s as simple as it gets. More speed = more power = more battery use.
Thanks for sharing your opinion.
Only 1080p lol??? I play in 1600p on the go locally.
What about the battery backup?
I had both the Lenovo Legion Go and Asus ROG Ally and I ultimately went with the Ally because I had a second XG Mobile and a ROG Strix portable gaming monitor for on the go. The Lenovo was too large to hold for me, in 30 minutes my hand went numb. I know the controllers are detachable, but I don't use it much at all. Once the Legion Space software has improved and discounts, I may try and purchase again for home use due to its size and weight for me.
I fear the day when AI TTS is better than this.
My 2 cents. Your review is too biased towards MSI. A good reviewer stays neutral and let the watcher decide. ;)
More a.i. videos. Yay. 🙄
Thanks for your feedback.

First sorry for saying this + within 14min
👎.
These AI reviews are soulless and boring. So lazy.

first!, rog Ally still wins
Not with SD cards and frame rates or kick stand and one usb c don't think so.
@@davecurry5604in refresh rate situation, 120hz with FreeSync is better than 144hz without any sync tech.
@@Coconutglquit your yapping… the go is far better and that’s a fact.
@@yonne7401 Go has larger screen and higher resolution, it is good. However the refresh rate situation, it can only be set as 144hz and 60hz, it will cause screen tearing when the fps is not limited to match these two refresh options. However ALLY doesn’t have this problem.
@@Coconutgl The Ally has VRR the Go doesn't
