Legion Go screen every time for me. I bought this to play one game, Wuthering Waves recently launched and it handles this at maximum system resolution and in game graphics set to max never dropping below 45FPS. I always play plugged in though in Performance mode and 30 Watts
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. In our tests, the battery of both consoles did not perform well. Of course, as you know, battery performance can be slightly different for different consoles and in different conditions.
@@MulavagiliSrikanthI have them both… I honestly would just buy an OLED… 720P is fine at that size and you don’t need more hardware for a 720P decent AAA experience… at least not yet. If you did get the Ally, just wait a month or so and get the Ally X… It’s a slightly juiced up version of the Ally Extreme with faster RAM and some fixes on some of the things… BUT, as I say that, I might just get myself the Zotac handheld… If they make a bazzite spin for that, then you have a real steam deck alternative.
@@MulavagiliSrikanth If you plan to play Steam games exclusively and experience a better user experience, Steam deck. ROG Ally if you want more versatility.
I have to say I do agree with the legion go screen, but the heavy weight does get tiring on long sessions. Battery is crap so you need it plugged in always to get any decent fps and the screen gets toasty warm. Resident evil was the demo on the MSI at the shops now I know it was because it is one of the few games it can actually play well. However, it is surprisingly comfortable to use. I feel like Asus has won this battle overall.
I hope we will see Z2 extreme processors in 2025 or earlier. These devices are great and have great potential, but they are not sufficient for today's AAA games.
Handheld consoles have many limitations for playing AAA games. Because the manufacturing companies have to design the dimensions of handheld consoles in such a way that it is possible to move them, as a result, designing a cooling system that can help the console in heavy processing will be very challenging. However, the next generation of Asus and Steam consoles will definitely be much more attractive.
Right, see in comparison sites that compares CPUs, all of these CPUs should outperform a Ryzen 5700g desktop. But they won't. Games can be run in 4k on a 5700g with it's onboard GPU. Mobile chips just cannot compete to a desktop. Even when the CPU comparisons say otherwise.

First of all, thank you for the good thing you told us about the sound of the video. Regarding handheld consoles, considering that you expect to be able to play games with the quality that is played on the PlayStation console, it must be said that currently none of the handheld consoles have this capability. Between Lenovo consoles and Steam Deck, based on our reviews, Steam Deck offers a better experience. Also, the news indicates that we should not wait for the next generation of the Steam console for at least another year and a half. Therefore, our final suggestion to you is that if the graphic quality of the games is of primary importance to you, do not buy a handheld console for now, but if it is important for you to be able to play wherever you want, the Steam console is a good option.
@@DigiTechMag good advice i knew those devices just not it when it comes to playing with no issues like the PlayStation console itself and what makes it hard even more for me to buy one of those is the prices just not worth it . The Asus ROG Ally X is a very attractive handheld console that, at least on paper, shows significant improvements over its predecessor. This console will be released at the end of July and its initial price is considered to be around 800 and in some markets 900 dollars, which is very high. We will have a comprehensive review on it in the coming weeks.

I better buy me a ps5 plus big tv screen plus the ps5 remote play controller and i would still have money to buy other tech stuff . This doesnt make any sense for a handheld console its too pricey
The competition would definitely be more attractive. However, the world of handheld game consoles is very unpredictable. Until two years ago, few people thought that Steam would be able to release a good handheld console.
Ayaneo 2 is a little older than the consoles reviewed in this video, and of course, due to its very high price, it has not been able to attract much attention from gamers. Of course, this console has good hardware, but its release at the same time as the first generation of Steam Deck and its huge price difference made it not welcome.
Yes, both consoles are confirmed, although they may enter the market under other brand names. We have a video on the channel that you can see on the possible details of the Nintendo Switch 2. Soon we will post an interesting video about the specifications of the next generation of the Steam handheld console.

Hell I could do a review of a review of a review. 😆 This is why I try things out myself and never go on reviews.
Hello dear friend. Nobody can not claim that its review is the best review as we can not too. It is based on our research and comparisons. After a while and when many people use these devices they can judge about our review's quality and correctness. Good Luck!
Many parameters have an effect on the frame rate, the most important of which is the graphics processing power of the consoles. However, the way the console uses hardware resources, as well as the division of these resources between CPU and GPU, is also effective in better performance of games. In addition, some software problems can affect the frame rate. Lenovo may be able to fix some of the current console's problems through software updates (for the console's BIOS).
Thank you for sharing your information with us. OneXPlayer X1 and other similar devices and its family, while they can be used as portable device for gaming, are actually designed for other purposes. Maybe they can be placed more in the tablet computer category. A very large screen, non-ergonomic design for games, and also a very high price separate them from the category of handheld gaming consoles.
Thank you for sharing your opinion. Both terms are correct, however, since we're only looking at them from a gaming perspective here, we'll use the latter. Please note that the first use of these devices is to play portable games. For this reason, joysticks have been used in them.
I own all but the claw and can categorically state that the Ally is a piece of crap. I cant believe for one second you didn't get paid by Asus for this video 😂... plus i get 2 hours on RE4R at 900p on the llg
Everyone may have a different experience with different devices. What is presented here is the result of simultaneous review of these handheld consoles. In addition, if Asus was going to pay for all videos similar to this video, it would have definitely gone bankrupt 😊
Sadly, Intel processors still can't balance power between the CPU and GPU well enough for gaming. That's why some games run as expected, but many don't perform as well as they should.
Despite the older hardware, OLED still performs well, which is due to its proper design and, of course, its proprietary operating system. However, to stay in the competitive market, it needs a major update in the next generation.
