Thank you Sam. Yes, I'm not one of those snobby pretentious wine people. Guess it's because i went the winemaking way, which comes with humility because you're dealing with uncertain nature when making wine, it's hard and humbling unlike the hospitality industry. Wine is culture and opening to others, not boasting about yourself 😅🥂🙏
Thanks a million Sarah :-) It goes straight to my heart. I'm very grateful for the support 🙏🙏🙏😃🥂 Hope to see you around and hear your thoughts about the videos as we continue the journey sharing knowledge and passion for wine. See you around. Merci 👍👍🍷🤗
I was always confused about how to hold a wine glass but this video really educated me. This video is very informative with in depth knowledge. Thanks a lot for the video. Cheers !
Thank you Sandeep. Very much appreciate you taking the time to let k ow. Glad it's useful and glad you'll enjoy your a little better next time 🥂👍😀 santé
I love your channel!! A little off topic - could you please recommend a very good pink sparkling wine please? I want to gift it to a friend who loves pink bubbles, but I have only tried a couple myself. Thank you!!
I always hold my glass by the base for those extra credit pretentiousness points. 😉 Also, it’s more fun to swirl it by the base than it is by the stem.
Good to have you around :-) Glad you enjoy the channel 👍🥂😃 The rosé is a simple yet pleasing rosé that I find locally (I live in the South of France), one from the Languedoc that is affordable and nice, that I use often when I need a rosé for the vids, not expensive and I enjoy having a glass of it afterwards ;-) In the background, are some Cabernet Francs from Languedoc I was tasting at the time, you can read about them on my blog if that's of interest: socialvignerons.com/2019/06/27/maison-ventenac-loire-style-wines-made-in-languedoc/ There's also a fantastic Hermitage in the frame, my review here: ua-cam.com/video/UDyc2IotUAc/v-deo.html There's A bruno Paillard Champagne I haven't tasted yet, and an outstanding Champagne rosé by AR Lenoble I have described and explained in this video: ua-cam.com/video/_i9HEfcAIjE/v-deo.html Hope this is useful ? Santé 🍷🍷🙏 and I'll be looking forward to seeing you around and hearing your thoughts on the videos. Merci!
@@UA-camJulien Thank you! I will check out the links! I love wine and I've spent the past two years studying varietals and regions very intently so I can understand what I like and why. I've also spent a lot of time on UA-cam finding lovely people like yourself. So much if it is access. It seems many of the better wines (that are not expensive) are not available for import to the US (or their subsequent price markup makes it not worth the effort). I've watched a few of your videos already. I found you when I did a search on Wine Folly book reviews. I really like that you film outside, so we get to see a little bit of street life and the vineyard before you do the tasting. I want to be knowledgeable enough to pass at least three levels of wine certification. It's hard to know what to try when there's a lot of mass produced wine that lacks flavor being pushed as good.
@@FaithDow Nice, it's great to see you've got such a passion for wine. I hope and I'm guessing some of my videos will help. You might have seen that i make videos for that other channel, with a fair bit of sharing wine knowledge there as well: ua-cam.com/channels/cKEdHaIX31LrywZmGwRUnw.html Next week, you'll probably see on my channel that I'll release a video about decanting wine, where I'll be talking about a wine club I work with that delivers great wines from around the world to the US. You might want to check out that wine club through the link in the video description then, and see if it's accessible to you. It's not cheap, but the wines are really good, and I make weekly wine videos for the club members as well. See you then, and looking forward to hear what you think :-) Merci

I thought you said pen!$ when you said peanuts hahaha
Thats why he translated the word(s) in the screen as well hahah clever!!
love your passion and energy!
Merci 👍😊🥂
Simple with solid reason. Thanks for the valuable lesson

thank you for spelling out 'peanuts,' crisps and canapés.😄
Merci pour l'instruction; very essential!
Tx Henry, glas it was useful 👍🙏🙏🥂 enjoy
Due to being still underaged, I cannot drink wine yet. However I still thank you for the information on how to hold a wine glass.
how do you put the glass on the table if you hold it by base. and your second hand is holding the plate of food?
Well, good point. It's not very practical then. That's when holding it by the stem is probably the best option 🥂
Thank you!
My pleasure. thank you for stopping by and taking the time to send a kind note ;-) cheers
Love it!
TY very much 🙏🙏🙏😃🥂🥂
Hi, my new favorite channel. What is the rose wine you're drinking? Can you list the bottles you have?

Hi Julile

0:07 How NOT to swirl your wine. :-)
Sorry, but holding a glass of wine by the base reminds me of a circus performer doing a stick balancing act.
Peanuts 😳🍆
How to hold a wine glass like a loser
XShadowX106 i was quite sceptical about your comment but at the end of the video I understood your emotions 🤣
All right man. Let me see your video about this topic, and we'll talk about it again... loosers criticize 🥂🤣
