Your video reminds me of a good friend of mine in the USA. He taught me how to taste and analyze wine he collected. I also learned that a good companionship made wine taste better. After I came back to my country, drinking wine is not the same anymore.
I laughed so loud with the sommelier tasting section. 3:13 After making sure the wine has no debris, "What you might do is just give them a look to show them you know what you're doing." I better start practicing.🍷😃
@@APWASICHANNEL Indeed it was, though all were great. I have large hands with big fingers, so the option to hold the glass between thumb and forefinger at 0:38 is appreciated as well.
I Just want to order wine swish it in my mouth couple times swallow and reject it even if its good and ask for another and do the same until ive tried five or so then simply get up and leave as if im too good for their medioca wine🤣🤣🤣
You shouldn't do it in France I think, because if you will do this people wait your comments about the wine, if you will fail you will have some problems :D
Funny how the politeness wasn't taught for wine, but from a lesson in school, to have etiquette. And then I feel rude for generally pouring a glass for me first. Lovely video, thanks for the teachings! Love the manners for this.
nail polish is not a bad thing particularly, it means that the wine has a component called flor, often found it funky orange and sometimes in heavy whites.
Sir if in a table there is a couple sitting and the lady orders wine and as a waiter he gives lady for tasting now whom he should pour First Lady or gentleman
(Pour the wine according to "AGE"..) ME: Hello Sir/Ma'am, how old are you? PERSON 1: I'm 65 y.o PERSON 2: Hey! I'm older than him/her, I'm 70 y.o ME: Oops! Sorry.. Hold on! 😂😂😂
@@APWASICHANNEL Then, how will you know if the person is older than the others? Some people look older than their age and others look younger than they really are. 😏
The way I was taught, it's to inspect the cork and possibly smell it. If the cork is crumbling, that's a pretty bad sign already. I would love to know doctor Lee's explanation, though!

Sharing a bottle of wine with good companionship is one of the best ways to enjoy wine!

2:05 I tried this little glass spin. Unfortunately I had already followed the previous tips and sprayed wine over myself and my date. Great video!

What do you mean about "establishing the length of the wine"? (Towards the end of the wine)
The length of the wine refers to how long the flavors of a wine last on your palate after you've swallowed or spit out the wine.
@@APWASICHANNEL Thank you! Love the videos😃

We don't necessarily ask the age, it is a call of judgment. :)

Why do you give the cork to the person tasting the wine? I know nothing about wine I only stumbled upon your channel and find it very interesting.

Paw 🐾🐾🐾marks 🤣🤣🤣👍
I would never put my nose that deep in a glass.
Me: *Drinks wine like water*
Might it ever be insulting in chinese culture serving the wine to the oldest looking person at the table first?
Do you not take the bottom lip off the bottle as it could have debray of the cap as it can contain lead?. Lovely video thou 🙂
You guess their age? Wouldn’t you risk offending them?
