Those crowds are from their Ozzfest shows. I think they played at like 12 in the afternoon. Only the people that were in the scene at that time understand the frenzy this brand created. Haven’t seen like it since.
Do the spit it out at download live or disasterpiece live in London. Spit it out is energy filled and disasterpiece is very very heavy like very heavy but the vocals are amazing
It’s amazing how these singers with the low, guttural screaming voices have some of the most melodic and beautiful “regular” singing voices. Disturbed is one band that comes to mind
This was their first single in the summer of 1999. I was immediately hooked. Ive seen them several times since then. They just kicked off their 25th anniversary tour. Yes, I am going. I have a very good friend who is a massive Vikings and Slipknot fan. Every Sunday morning before kickoff he blasts Psychosocial. Ive been making fun of him for years. Its so great. This band is phenomenal, and Corey is a legend. And stop saying things "slaps". It makes people cringe.🤘✌
Slipknot is my favorite band and love watching you get into their music. Whenever you get the time and if you are not familiar with Korn try them also. Got the Life, Freak on a Leash, Did My Time and Coming Undone are good intro songs into their stuff. Nice reaction. You have to go to a show because if you keep listening at home you are gonna over boil and break something.
I really wish you would listen to the studio versions as well, even if off-camera. Those are much better in audio quality. Some details of the song just cannot be reproduced on stage unfortunately.
If you wanna hear more ckean vocals Corey Taylor. Listen to his other band. Stone Sour. Just as intense but with clean vocals. Some of my favorites, 30-30-150, Reborn or Scarz.

Slipknots self-titled album (the one this song is from) . . . To me? Sounds like a mental breakdown set to music in the best possible way. So many great songs just from this album to recommend. (Sic) Eyeless [probably my personal favourite] Surfacing Spit it out [live versions are the best] Only one Liberate Yeh, when this was their first major label release? You can see why they've gone on to be so successful.
This song always makes me think of Anakin thinking about his life and choices he made as he waits to be with Padmé again. The shell being his suit, his eyes red and gold (sith eyes), he never pictured himself being a sith, his shakes being caused from the pain that the suit inflicts on his burned body, the hate rising up is his anger of how things are now, he wandered out where she cant see cause he went down a path she couldn't follow. Anyway, yes, I know it's not about him. The lyrics just make me think of him when I hear them.

That's when I got to witness the late great drummer Joey Jordison do his Amazing drum set, where the platform he was drumming on lifted vertical & spun 360 while he was performing a drum solo set. I love the We are not Your Kind album. I know people will disagree but it might be their most complete album (though sometimes Jay and all the blast beats kinda throws me off) but just song writing and production are peak level. The End So Far I think is their worst album. I was actually a little disappointed. There is good stuff on there but sometimes it felt jarring and like the band was not meshing.

This is a good version, but the album version is way more intense. I suggest anything from the Iowa album. My Plague, People = Sh!t, Disasterpiece, The Heretic Anthem, Left behind, The shape... All bangers and all very heavy. I strongly believe it is the heaviest album ever recorded. Hands down.

@@kennethbartlett4302 the last album is quite different from what Slipknot has used to create, that's why I like it in a different way than I can love previous album, it's like in your couple you're not love your lover as same as the beggining 😉 I admit some songs are weird 😅

This is a good version, but the album version is way more intense. I suggest anything from the Iowa album. My Plague, People = Sh!t, Disasterpiece, The Heretic Anthem, Left behind, The shape... All bangers and all very heavy. I strongly believe it is the heaviest album ever recorded. Hands down.
