This may be an odd comment, but i really like this video & narrator's pacing. Keeps moving, always talking about the next feature, provides detail, but neither lags nor rushes. Peak performance, good sir!
Video producer here. I don't often reply to comments but I have just seen this and it's really kind of you. It's nice to see people with a keen (I promise, no pun intended) eye for making enticing but fun videos! Hope to come across more of your comments later, and that you like Enshrouded!
The way the structures blend together is just amazing!!! Finally a survival game that satisfies my building needs, this will definetly be a long term game for me!
Imagine adding different backpacks with lanterns and physical mechanics like in Outward, feels like it could suit this game like a glove! 🤞 This looks really promising so far.
@@terrydrain Check out the game Outward, very novel approach to using backpacks as physical items that affect your gameplay. But in short, carrying one reduces your dodge ability, so you can drop it to increase your effectiveness, but then you lose access to its inventory. You can also hang lanterns from it to light the area around you, with some letting it hang in front of you via a mounted stick (more light) and most others behind you (less light)
@@ruorick 😂 I played outward for like 10 minutes with my wife and we decided that game sucked ass. I honestly don't remember much, only that it felt clunky and bad
@@TheCynicalJay Oh sure it's not for everyone, was a small team and it had many faults, but with novel ideas that I wish more games would attempt to refine 👍
Looks amazing! If there is solid gameplay and depth outside of building, so that we have both real goals to build and constraints on it; if the game gives a good answer to "why should we build", it would be an instant buy from me. I'll certainly wishlist it, and keep on eye on it.
Hello there! This is a fantastic video but I have a suggestion to make: It would be very nice to design own blueprints or put blueprints in like a workshop to download or choose online.
I was just thinking this. Being able to share super cool total building blueprints would be AMAZING for getting my less crafting-oriented friends hyped
this is implemented with the help of mods in Valheim, it is possible here if the developers do not provide such a function, the fans will already do it themselves =)
Looks beautiful! Can’t wait to see how this evolves. Hopefully we could place trees and add water as well? Landscape decoration has always been an area I’ve wanted to explore deeper in base building. Gonna live my best mage life here in a wizard tower lol
Buying as soon as the button is enabled on Steam! I really hope you guys have plans to expand on the Decorative and usable props. Absolutely love the build style!
If this game is in any way shape or form what is advertised (which I have high hopes of because it's an indie game) this will become the new go-to game for my friends and me to build our fantasy empire in! This has the potential to be absolutely amazing! High hopes, but with all that's going on in the gaming world rn, I'm going to be carefully optimistic.
@@Enshroudedgame Well, you guys got me hyped already, and seeing that you do in fact prove what you claim by showing ingame footage, my hopes are very high this is going to be a gem^^ The more I see the more I fall in love with enshrouded ;) can't wait for the release!
Base builders aren't really my thing, but damn this looks really good! Your editing is phenomenal as well - I hope your game is a huge success & best of luck :D
I hope to be playing this on release! Over 100 different props is pretty impressive and the aesthetics of the build pieces fit my liking! I'm looking forward to be playing Enshrouded :)
Question: That’s cool! Is there is a materials requirement to progress and craft? I’m sure for video you where in developer mode. But I’m sure “hope” you have to progress and harvest materials
the building in this game looks more genuine than others like it belongs and fits in the world. Other survival games the buildings tend to stick out like a sore thumb just on the visual look of the materials alone. Usually they look off like it doesn't quite belong. This kinda reminds me of reign of kings just less goofy and more tidy natural looking
This game reminds me so much of Conan Exiles. All of whats going on. (I haven't played many other survival games, though). The voxel approach triggers me immensly in a positive way. I think I will check it out tomorrow!
Me and my buddy have been waiting for Portal Knights 2 for so Long, and this is gonna be an amazing substitute/upgrade of the first Portal Knight. Can’t wait for it to Come out on console next year!
Looks real promising. Are we going to be able to have passive income of raw materials, like stone and/or ores from miner NPCs or wood from lumberjacks? Are we going to have to provide something like food for our villagers/npcs? If so, can these places become self-reliant by constantly providing food and resources to stay alive and working?
haha, you are shitting me, blueprints and singleblock building is exactly what i wished for and expected. everything looks awesome, this is wishlisted so incredibly hard on my no. 1 spot. the only thing i would change is "putting" the npcs like they are decoration (unless there is an explanation for you carrying them around in your pocket), it would make more sense if you build a fully roofed area and place a sign with their name on it or something and then they spawn in and run towards the building
So if I understand correctly, they took a page out of Valheims book with rested buff and lots of different crafting stations, and I love that. I need a REASON to build a large home and make it look nice, if it has no utility, why bother? Thats why my minecraft base is always a hole in the ground, because all you need is a place for your bed and where you can store your stuff. adding that "comfy" feeling to a base you can return to after your Adventures is one of the best parts of a survival game, and NPCs could make that even better.
I love building in my games. Valheim was the first with terraforming and descent gameplay. I just wish it had a first person view for building. It makes things like snap points easier, and working out the desired concept. Can you please think about adding an option for 1st person view in building. Thank you for vid, and game looks Amazing!
can you guys include some special hidden patterns? i think that would be neat. like if each material had a certain 3D/2D shape that would make something unique/had hand crafted design on it
me acabo de topar con este juego y es literal lo que esperaba desde la cancelación de Everquest Landmark, sin duda promete mucho y me gusta lo que veo, directo a steam a ponerlo en la wishlist
Please consider this feedback. Make this game more MMO, bigger worlds for a more online collaborative play-style. Don't go for this client hosted servers, because this will be almost as a single player title. Create big servers for thousands of players to play all together. This is what is missing in the survival general.
OMFG i need to get into Alpha testing right away, just like i did with ARK back in the day. Hook me up Devs, lets test this game to its max ability so we can all play it RIGHT NOW.
Looks awesome and instant add on Steam. Reminds me of 7 Days to Die and Valheim. Both builders I love, but both were each missing something. I hadn't heard of this game prior to seeing the article on mmorpg. I noticed there are still details/assets missing. Doors, windows, rails. Keep it coming cause what I am seeing so far could replace Valheim for me. Love the buff idea from bosses. Now if I can find an NPC dance to keep me entertained and provide some other type of buff. Interactive objects for housing is a must.
I hope this comes to consoles, I know PC first and all that but I'm a console gamer. Either way I love it when developers show off the game every chance they get.
This may be an odd comment, but i really like this video & narrator's pacing. Keeps moving, always talking about the next feature, provides detail, but neither lags nor rushes. Peak performance, good sir!
Brevity FTW. No word salads or PR buzzwords.
Sounds like someone with marketing experience. The whole construction of the video is very marketing-aligned.

ye, I honestly believe that we haven't really seen a building system with this kind of longevity since minecraft.
As a builder I really, really appreciate what you've done. This won't get boring after I get all the things.
The crafting and building looks amazing ! Bravo !

I've been looking for something like Outward. Would love some of the features from Outward in this, it does seem like it would fit.

OMG has something finally come to fill the void Landmark left in my heart?!
Amazing, the game is added on my wish list.
Cause i love the building potential you give to players.
Great job
castle grayskull looks amazing!
looks amazing, and i really like these kind of games where you both build freely and fight , really looking forward to it
I can't express how excited I am for this game!
this game looks really beautiful - keep up the great work!
Elements of the building and digging remind me of the EQ Landmark game... which they stopped developing. Hopefully this one does well.

try smallands for now awesome game and bit more upto date with far better building =]
This looks amazing, very excited about the construction mode of the game. all the videos so far totally convince me. can't wait to play it :)
Already added on wishlist after this video, then checked the other videos like combat. Seems just like the game I have been searching for.
