Hey Jack, please try Max Payne 3 multiplayer, its so fun and still played on PC
Games with a small multiplayer tacked onto that isn’t live service needs to come back. This game feels like a straight up Xbox 360 game because of it in a good way.

This is going to be live service though, they already have maps and modes to be added
I dunno, it might not be live service yet but I'm afraid it might get that treatment. A core issue with the multiplayer is that players who are higher level get outright better weapons, and the default kits range from decent to kinda foul. It takes quite a while to level up, too. I can see microtransactions to skip the grind or grind for new weapons in the future.
It's crazy how they convinced people to pay the same amount for multiplayer only games as they pay for games like this where multiplayer is just an extra feature.

Watching some lore videos (ArbitorIan's channel has good lore guides like the entire 4Ok timeline in 20 min) or reading a 40k book (Eisenhorn: Xenos is a good book to get into the universe) are good ways to start.
If you're looking for lore
Weshammer, majorkill and luetin09 are good.
Imperial iterator, imperial drone and onemindsyndicate are good AI channels too.

Broo this is exactly what I noticed too! Great attention to detail. I'm honestly so happy this game is doing well and people are liking it. No overly greedy micro transactions and it looks like they delivered exactly what they promised. I wish I could still game... Would love to play this 😢

The devs clearly love Warhammer because the amount of detail they've put into this game is WAY above what was necessary. It's kinda heart-warming.
Anyone who has ever been into Warhammer (like myself as a teen) should be supporting this game because it's the Warhammer 40K game we always wanted but never got. There's so much potential for more game modes, updates and sequels with other enemies from the Warhammer universe like Orcs, Necrons, Aeldari, 'proper' Chaos Marines etc... So I just hope it does well for them.
It 'should' be a successful franchise because there are whole generations of grown men with money to spend, who loved Warhammer and have waited their whole lives to have a game which makes them feel immersed in that world. Well it's here, so support it!

Talking about details, try the photo mode during the campaign, it is litterally a diorama simulator especially because the amount of details in texture and models are, as you said, wayyyy above what is needed for the game. if i had that game when i was 14 i would have make hours of videos with this photo mode and probably quit school...

I'm hoping those new enemies in the roadmap aren't enemy units but enemy factions.
Imagine if the Orks roll up led by Warboss Grimskull's blood brother out to wargh against the hummie who did in his bruvver.
Most multiplayer games fall to the trap of competitiveness and forget to be fun.

I've enjoyed it a surprisingly large amount, despite how barebones it is... more maps, modes, and progression wiuld do wonders, especially with Chaos customization.

its way better than i expected, its fkin awesome. wish i got better frames tho but its a little higher in vs. the coop and story are dope too, in vs you cant parry or execute, but the executes go hard af

The MP is 2/3rds the game. There's 6 campaign missions, 6 co-op missions, and 3 pvp gamemodes

Symmetrical PVP being standard has been a disaster for humanity. Imagine being able to play as Brute in Halo back in 2007. Flinging Grunt teammates at enemies while theyre holding primed plasma grenades. It's not just the devs' fault, but the gamers' too for being so accepting of mediocrity and unimaginative.
Those player models are amazing! Gameplay looks like proper classic style arena fighting!
Big hitboxes, no crouching/prone, no bunnyhopping or CoD/Fortnite sliding around.
Just good positioning, teamplay and shooting.
I wish my friends played like you and Tom do. Just calm and collected, clean comms and being a dynamic duo.

This game is such a breathe of fresh air. It's brand new but somehow gives me a nostalgic feeling. They've seemed to tap into the art of what made gaming so great. An art that seems to have been lost in todays modern, super competitive, live service, daily log-in-to-keep-up crap. You can tell this game was made with true passion. I pray for this games success.

Space marine PVP is old school PVP fun .. need some tweaking like reducing the number of slots on bullwark and heavy to 1 per team instead of 2 .. beside that overall it feel pretty good

Well it's tactical in that if your team stays in a blob then you win. Not that I'm complaining, it's a team game and it makes me think of the tabletop.

Space marine 2 in general is just amazing, everything about it is top tier. Ive played 20 hours and still havnt played pvp but im excited for it when i do

We need more maps for pvp. I've been playing nothing but pvp. If u have not tried it yet, it's easier than it looks. Plus, u can get ur gear/weapon appearance faster than pve (assuming ur team wins). U don't have to worry about weapon perks or skills tree.
WHAT A GAME DUDE!!! I don't know if Jack was the guy playing the tactical marine but that was solid play all the way through. Good aim, good use of gadgets and good teamwork!!
I’m gonna play this even if it loses popularity just cause it’s a pro consumer game. No store . Play and earn what you want to customize . No randomize grinding , no macrotransactions
This is such good fun. Sweaty enough but keeps the fun flowing.
Some people might feel like the games not worth the money for only having a 7-8 hour campaign, but honestly quality of quantity because I am genuinely immersed and never bored with what’s happening on screen, I haven’t even beaten the game yet either, this is personally game of the year for me. This game brings back memories of when games were just fun hack and slash made to make you feel badass games. AND I also love 3rd person PvP games so the fact that they have PvP is awesome, I liked uncharted 4 multiplayer and i like this, there are some balancing issues but overall it’s very fun.

You arent going to wipe a team unless you get a surprise flank. But running from someone only to go straight up and hover waiting then descending as the angel of death is so satisfying

You can parry one of his attacks and out DPS him too if he doesn't dodge or parry.

This game is SOOOO good. It is just some old school feeling fun.
This game's pvp feels like a nice refreshing glass of ice water with lemon in contrast to the over-saturated baja blast mountain dew that is the majority of other AAA games. Not there's anything wrong with liking "baja blast" games, it's just sometimes you need a SM2 to cleanse the palette

I agree! Took me a good 3 days to figure the pvp out but im loving it. Huge gears fan and this is right up my alley. I seem to do best with the heavy class so far.
This game was refreshing, a nice single player campaign with coop with an alright pvp multiplayer tacked on, not the other way around.
Simplicity at its best and thats why TLOU Factions is still amazing after all these years
Assault Space Marines are just soooo badass
It's so inferiating how there's only 3 maps and modes and no chaos customization (besides basic colors and emblems) because the core gameplay and all the classes are genuinely very fun. It definitely feels like the devs prioritized the pve, but I hope with the positive reception, they devote more support for it.
