My current Computer and Monitor setup:
MOBO: MSI Z390 Tomahawk
CPU: i9-9900K Clocked to 4.9ghz
GPU: EVGA 2080ti Ultra
RAM: 64gig
Monitors: 3 27" Asus ROG PG279Q IPS panels at 144hz. 4th
monitor is 1920x1080 TN panel.

extra contact pins are for compatibility with the r5 as the r5 lacks bluetooth, hence the extra pins are data pins for the r5, not for power transfer.
@@ThePigeonStoop The R5 has the same configuration pins on both the wheel and base and this wheel is compatible with the R5.

Nice looking wheel. First thought was it looked a bit too dark, mainly compared to the "old" one with the very colourful buttons. But since this wheel got lights in the buttons it looks so much better.

I’ve heard all good things about Moza base and rims. Price range is about the same as the simagic mini, I’m leaning that way right now
Is this wheel able to be used with other bases, lets say the simucube 2 as long as you can provide power to it?
Hey Barry, when you were testing out this Moza RS V2 wheel, were the 2 joysticks plug and play? Currently i have this wheel and the joystick "D-pad" function is not working. The 4 directions aren't detected as an input in windows control panel, nor can i map the buttons in any game. Only the "push button" feature works on both joysticks. However, when the right joystick is pressed, buttons 2 and 12 light up in windows control panel.
I have already reset and re-calibrated the wheel in the Moza Pit House.
Just pre-ordered the R5 bundle ETA late Jan...Sold my CSR Elite which was 10 year old for $100 less than R5 bundle!
how are the bottom paddles also clicky but only in the button mode ?? electronic magnets ??? im heavily impressed
29:24 did you get a chance to try any custom wheels with it? I remember you doing so in your review of the CS wheel and doing so, but the forged carbon cover had me worried.
Looks like it would line up the same way with the 6 holes?
Were you able to find the answer to this question? I'm debating between the CS wheel and this wheel. If the RS v2 is able to do custom wheels im definetly pulling the trigger on it.
Hmmm, that sticky IR cover is not good overtime when dust gets in through the vents and sticks to it blocking the signal.
do you happen to know if the wheel is 70mm holes? looking top attach a different wheel on

Im looking to purchase the r9 bundle with this wheel, would i run into complications due to the wheels weight?

I think it´s a missed oportunity that these rims don´t have USB support to use on other bases.

not sure why they dont, because their fsr wheel that was released before this one has a plug on the back to be used with other wheelbases
From what I have been seeing, it seems that these wheels are just simply too heavy for the r5 and even the r9 wheelbases. Moza needs to bring out some more wheels that are not so heavy so they are able to be driven by their lower end wheelbases without totally dampening the experience compared to being mated to the R16/21. It seems for those who go for the R9 wheelbase, it really is only suitable for the GS wheels as they are small and light. Also a shame that you can only get their 280mm wheel with the R5 bundle and its not available to purchase on its own for say, R9 wheelbase owners who are looking for a circular wheel with less weight.
Does anyone know, if Moza is planning on releasing a V2P Version of the RS wheel?

I have a left leg disability, I can work a throttle/brake set with my right foot no problem (like driving my truck in real life)
My question is: can I map throttle and brake to the lower set of paddles and shifting to the upper set of paddles and shift without a clutch, or if a clutch is needed, can I map a clutch function to another button ?

In what scenario would someone purchase the RS V2 over a CS V2? Trying to understand whether the $200 price difference is justifiable, or if it's better used towards a second wheel like the GS V2?
True. Although I did get it because I didn’t want any regrets later and it had the four paddle shifters. I really like it, but the cs should be great too
Very nice, Im still enjoying my CS with a momo wheel to spend any more money on another round wheel.

the best part, is that according to the official site, it's compatible with the R5 base, so it opens an upgrade path for beginers.
2kg 330mm wheel on a 5nm wheelbase would be absolutely horrible

Wish the stitching was yellow or something. Can't see the stitchwork- is it good quality stitching?
I also wish the shift light indicator didn't have bleed, and they were individual dot lights. Looks cheap and tacky to me.
Great review as always Barry. :) Wheel too big IMO 12 inches or just over 300mm is the prefect size
