I tested multiple scanners from 3D Maker Pro and I am close to say those are sub par and very expensive. with basic 3D photogrammetry I get better scans with more details. The Ferret Pro offer fear superior tracking and scanning then the 3D Maker scanners.
I bought serval scanners now. Revopoint mini for really small stuff. Einscan-SP for parts of the size of a controller or slightly bigger. Einscan Einstar for big stuff. For this part I would have used the Revopoint mini. The Einscan-SP would be more convenient but it’s not made for small stuff like this. Oh and the 0.01mm accuracy must be a scam. Even my 2k€ Einscan-SP scanner has only 0.05mm accuracy. I checked it and it was 0.05 or less.
I also bought the Seal and whilst I cannot speak for all I certainly can for a lot of users when I say I feel totally ripped of by the manufacturer who are happy to take you money and then try everything to get you not to return it. You even get charged US$100 Plus tax to send it back even though the problem is at their end with the outrageous advertising claims. Totally unhappy and would never buy anything from them again!!!!!
So far this is my feeling as well. Haven't returned mine yet but definitely feel ripped off. I'm in communication with 3DMakerPro at the moment and we will see what they have to say about my findings.
You should make an updated video with the updated software. I have their new Moose scanner and I like the scans that are coming out of it, but I will not try anything that small. The Moose is not made for objects that small.
I think you may have forgotten to adjust the sensitivity in the upper right corner. By increasing it to 10, you can greatly improve the resolution issue.
The sensitivity acts kind of like camera ISO. I can increase it and the scanner will technically be more sensitive but the point cloud is also more noisy. I have a video coming out soon that will show the differences in settings.
honestly their products seem to be shit I have bought 2 of their crap, and its all sitting in a corner because its awful, the software is probably the letdown and I haven't found a 3rd party software that accepts their scanners
It’s certainly not made for such a small part. I would use a Revopoint mini for it. Edit: But they labeled it as it would be capable of doing so. False marketing.

I'm getting back into scanning and want to make a video with all the updates. So far it seems a little better but not by much.

I have Lite version and my results are much better. You didn't clean the noise at all, what you expect?

Does it really take 11 mins to say "this thing is a scam ripoff, don't buy it"...?
