    I found recording all my win/loss trades using screen software very powerful and using playback over and over again to see what I done wrong and noting it down.

    It's a shame that I got sucked into the make money fast crap first. And I look at these videos now and they have 10's of thousands of views within days. Then I come across you and, even though holding on to stocks I should have let go of, you're telling me why I am doing it. It's a shame that more people aren't listening to common sense first. Thanks I think after watching more of your stuff and working on the things I need to I may lose my fear of pulling the trigger. And at the very least be on the road to becoming a great trader.

    Your videos are inspiring especially the one that talks about "Building the right mindset to become a great trader".
    I've been trading on demo since January 2018 and made good progress by being consistent with my method. Since last week till now I've been trading live with same method and so far I've lost most of my trades. Now to most this sounds bad but watching your videos and reading "Trading in the Zone" has really helped me a lot, because now I don't get stressed like before by changing methods. Through your videos I've learned that FOREX is 80% Psychology and 20% Method. This helped me a lot and I'd like to say thank you for sharing such valuable information.

    The problem is the amount of time it takes is the amount of BS around the internet about trading confuses everyone. I fell for many courses over the years and then decided no one is getting my money and I will make my own system and tweak it as market changes.

    passion is not directly proportional to success. there are things that are simple for some people just because of pure talent and not because of passion. many of us are just good at something that someone else is struggling to master (even though its not our passion) maybe its math, maybe is a sport....
    there is a professional tennis player called Andrea Agassi who wrote in his book that he actually hates tennis. but look at him, he was a successful professional tennis player.

    • @Duomoinitiative
      @Duomoinitiative  7 років тому +2

      Hey Alejandro. You are right that passion is not directly proportional to success, in fact I mention that in the first video where I brought up 'grit'. Angela Duckworth actually attributes success to a broad sum of talent x grit. Grit is important because in her words "anything multiplied by 0 is still 0", which is her basically saying that no matter how much talent you have, if you don't foster it correctly, you won't use it to its potential.
      As for Andre Agassi, I appreciate you bringing an example to the table. I haven't read his autobiography, but I have read a piece at the end of the book "The Greatest" by Matthew Syed, where Agassi talks about this very subject. He says he both loved and hated tennis. He hated the intensity brought by his father and how he was put through something he saw as a prison camp, but he loved the game. I also know that Agassi hired Tony Robbins when his performance dropped and by going over his psychological problems, including his love for the game, he was able to become #1 seed again. As I said, I haven't read his autobiography, but these are the things I've picked up from elsewhere. In any case, there will always be outliers to any concept or theory.
      Thanks for the great comment.

    You talk about trading, what do you actually trade? Forex, binary, stock, commodities?

    • @Duomoinitiative
      @Duomoinitiative  7 років тому

      Intra-day and intra-week I solely trade forex these days, but in the past I have traded other asset classes over the short term too. Medium to long term I will trade any asset class, depending on how it fulfils the particular portfolio strategy I'm targetting. Absolutely no trading binary options.
