You are amazing and the little kid in you and not being shy on the camera and making faces is just brilliant, not many people have the courage to do that ❤️😀😀
Love these kinds of videos dude. Really look forward to new posts from you, even after following you for the past few years. I never comment but just had to let you know. You are appreciated man.
Great video Omar . I’m not in to video , but I was captivated nevertheless : ah, that would be your sweet docile resonance of your voice emanating to us . Seriously - all joking aside , another top notch video . Well done .
For convenience and overall usability, you really can't beat the Rode wireless GO ii system. I was surprised by how good the sound was from the Deity though. Fun video! I have somehow accumulated 7 microphones over the years. I'm thinking about pulling together a comparison just for fun on my other channel that I just launched "Randumb Tech" 🤣🤣
Nice video Omar. I'd been looking into this a little myself, but as a lowly X-T200 owner, my manual states "...microphones that require plug-in power cannot be used..." which prevents my use of some of these cheaper smaller ones. As it is, I'm using my old, old Zoom H1 on a cradle mount to the hotshoe when I need better sound in camera. It looks hilarious, but it works.
Hmmm... Didn't adjust db (gain) for the Rode Wireless Go to match the other mics (and you could have disclosed the change to be fair/transparent). Show bias much? *elbow nudge* 😆 (On a technical note, was the gain on the Wireless GOs at 0db?) (I have multiple mics, too, and I know how difficult it is when changing mics back and forth multiple times, so I'm just giving you a hard time. 😁)
I know it was a sound video but the skin tone and color differences between all of these were vast. The Nikon Z6 II looked way better in my opinion followed by the X-T3. Great little sensor sample. Thanks.
Hi Omar You already know I love your vids! have questions for you or others. have an xt3 and got a rode videomic-Go quite awhile ago. never really used it. never was serious about video either. But tried some yesterday with internal mic. found that it helps a lot to turn on MIC in settings. preferably BEFORE shooting vids. but I digress. Want to try a vid with the rode and the Dead Cat. tested ok. Mic on. question is does it help to have mic higher than hot shoe? or to the side? or no big deal? hope to capture a B-17 start up and take off tomorrow . thanks again
Quick question: the extension cable you have listed: Will that work in the extra small audio jack on the XT30? You mentioned the XT30 in the video but just want to confirm that it would all work together. Thanks for the great videos! I’m a new Fuji user (xt30) and been loving your channel!
Yes, they live in the trees once they emerge from the ground every 17 years. Although harmless, they are not welcome in the house being 1.5" long and noisy :-)
@@ogonzilla A few years ago I was dropping my daughter for her first year in Medical school in Winston-Salem NC, and as we were walking across campus we heard that noise. I was trying to carry on a conversation with someone and I asked him what was making that horrible noise, and his response was "what noise?" LOL
So I bought the Rode Video Micro, and on the X-T4, it only picks up one channel. So I returned it because in the Manual it says Fuji doesn't support mics that require plug-in power. But I'm curious if it was a mic defect because I've seen quite a number of people try with X-T3 and it works. Would they really change the X-T4 that much? interesting. Any thoughts on this?
I just bought the A7III earlier this year and still in the box. I'm running the GoPRO Hero9 black now on my videos. What kind of mods or filters do I need to get the cinematic look using the Sony A7III?
I wish the shock mounts on the smaller mics were a bit more sturdy and didn't allow the mic to droop so much. It just makes it look so bad and unprofessional. I guess it'd be best to go to a higher-end mic if you were doing professional audio/video work though?
@@ogonzilla Haha no I don't think it's you. I have the Rode Video Micro and feel like it's too floppy up there on the camera because of the shock mount

Thanks! I appreciate that after all this editing lol!
Arnold impression is instant like
C'MAHN!!!

Deity makes some awesome products and they have amazing employees! I have always loved working with them and reviewing their products.

Hi Omar, nice quick test. Did you do any audio editing (noise reduction, compression...) or is it the raw audio we are listening to ? Regards
Love your Arnold impersonation. I laughed out loud.
Interesting, could be useful in the era of video calls especially paired with the Fuji X Webcam utility
Yes, I've used it on Zoom calls with a camera connected via a HDMI capture card.
@3:02 kudos for the Rain Man reference lol 🙌🏼
I use Sennheiser MKE200 and fits perfect to Fuji also get clear sound 🤙🏻

It sounds really good
Thanks Omar.
Love your videos. You are some funny dude. Thanks for making me smile.

Nice Seiko Alpinist!
the best!
Best reviewer ever!!! Please, let Omar review the Universe
Uh...that would be 'expansive.'

Yes...SOOC...if I had the energy, I would've set a custom WB and tried to match the colors. The Nikon by far the easiest and best colors..

Ah yes, the arnold peaking test
I bought rode video micro after some research I did and I think it's a good mic but that deadcat makes it look a bit weird.
We can put a man on the moon, but there's no other wind solution????????????? lol....

it’s so beautiful, the footage is beautiful, I like this good video. A new friend
You, my friend, are cray cray! I’ve got your dead cats hanging! Another great video that gave me a case of the giggles!

"97-X, Bam. The future of rock and roll." Rainman!! I got that. (you forgot the BAM) 🤣🤣 Now... "Get to the chopper" (Predator). 🤬🤬
lol...damn. That's right...the BAM was key. Next time. lol
“You can see what it sounds like” 😂
I just realized how envious I am of Mo Morales. He has Omar Gonzalez as his best friend... 🤣 🤪 😉
Would this be a good microphone for interviews on a budget ?
Hello
What hapenned to your megadap etz11 video ? I saw it and it vanished before i could watch
Just curious. Are those cicadas I hear in the background outside? I've noticed it on several east coast type youtubers in the last couple weeks.
Yes, they live in the trees once they emerge from the ground every 17 years. Although harmless, they are not welcome in the house being 1.5" long and noisy :-)
The buzz in the air. I think so. Don't even hear it anymore lol

Those rode wireless things have kind of muffled soft sound, is it just me? Or they just need to be much closer to the mouth?

If you shoot 24fps 1/50th and open up your aperture f2 or so....it will look very cinematic. Also research color grading the HLG2, HLG3 profiles.
I always look forward to your videos😂😂😩🤣👍😅

It could be how I clipped it. I often do things incorrectly.

When i grow up i wanna to be like you! 🤣
How is it that the mic is not connected for this video?
It's connected. Via a long cable into the camera.
Now do Arnold asking for pepperoni.
lol
Lol where do we follow your podcast???

I feel like the D4 audio was too low
It's probably my fault. I definitely don't want the audio to peak, so I record lower. I did boost some of the volume in post.
👍 🥂
I too like things raw and naked :P
