  • This aligned shamrock stitch is fun to work! It has an easy flow to it and works up fairly quickly.
    The pattern repeat is over four rows, but it is fairly easy to remember. The shamrock design is made up of double crochet cluster stitches and double crochet three together stitches.

    For this tutorial I will be using a 5mm crochet hook (affiliate link: shrsl.com/3c0bh) and some Pima Cotton by Lion Brand Yarn (affiliate link: shrsl.com/3atvr)

    Love this stitch, I hope to find a good reason to use it. My first impression was that it looked like iron crosses, which inspires me to use metallic greys and royal blues.

    This is got to be my most favorite pattern. It is so beautiful. It reminds me of old world or old school Crocheting and I’m just really happy with the pattern

    Hi Sarah!
    Thank You So Much for sharing your inspiration and creativity with Us!
    Your video tutorials are Fabulous!
    I can’t wait to try this shamrock stitch. It looks like a “Cross” stitch, I believe I’ll make Easter potholders fastening this shamrock stitch lace on top of a thermal crochet solid colored potholder.
    Many Thanks and Kind Regards from Texas!

    Is This is for the scarf and the blanket only? Or we can use it to stitch a sweater?

      If you are building panels (which get stitched together), a sweater would be beautiful.

    This stitch is so gorgeous and will be fun to work. You use cotton a lot and it looks soooo nice. I can't seem to crochet with cotton to save my soul. What's the secret?

    • @MawmawLife24
      @MawmawLife24 2 роки тому +1

      I’m with you! But I find working with cotton blends are better. Also I think it depends on the brand. 🤷‍♀️

    • @ArDeeMee
      @ArDeeMee 2 роки тому +1

      It absolutely depends on the brand. I also mostly work with mercerized cotton, since it is so much easier to handle.

    • @RichTexturesCrochet
      @RichTexturesCrochet  2 роки тому +2

      I agree about the brand being one of the factors. I find cottons that a more stiff are more difficult to work with. This Pima Cotton by Lion Brand Yarn is super soft and smooth - it makes it really easy!
