Shamrock Beanie Crochet Pattern

- The Shamrock Beanie is a fun crochet beanie featuring colour worked shamrocks around the body of the hat! This crochet pattern is actually an update to a pattern for a Shamrock Toque that I wrote a few years ago. In the original pattern I used the knit stitch throughout the beanie, including in the brim. This update includes a different brim along with updated colours, yarn and stitch counts. This Shamrock Beanie would make a great accessory to wear while celebrating St. Patrick's Day which was what I had in mind when I designed it, but it would also make a great accessory all year!

hi Sarah I'm Alex MacDonald and l like that crochet hat with Shamrock stitches on
This looks amazing! Loved your tutorial. I love your work. Could you tell me when the beanie to go along with the golden cowl is going to be released, please? Thank you 😊
This is amazing! I wonder if there would be a way to make it into a four leaf clover? My aunt and her son always went back and forth finding them before he died and I would love to make something like this for her because of how special they are for her. ❤️☘️🍀
I like the hat,not the fuzzy pom poms. Ever try just making a couple of chains a few inches long an adding a shamrock charm?? I do this alot on my hats..using all different types of charms.😊☘
The charm idea is a great idea! It would be so cute!
My slip stitches keep getting too tight on the band can I do a single crochet instead
Hi Like the pattern so much, I purchased it. Now have an issue have 25 sts, then Ch 1, turn, now 26 sts, then sl st in 2nd chain from hook= 25 sts, C1 turn. I make sure I chain at the end. The stitch count keeps decreasing. Don't understand! Maybe someone in community would know.
It sounds like you may be dropping a stitch at some point. I would, for the first several rows use stitch markers to mark the first and last stitch until the brim is a little longer
@@RichTexturesCrochet I tried a sample using a lighter yarn. You're correct. I changed the brim to HDC. Looks great had to add 3 additional inches to fit around my head. Thank👏🏼 you for responding.🤗
@@JesusJoy77805 wonderful!
Hi Sarah Purchased this pattern and the chart is so small. Tried enlarging it, but it's still to small to see the chart. How can I obtain a larger print size. Also, I'm left handed, so I would believe I go from left to right on the chart.
Struggling with the stitch. No matter how loose I make it, its still too tight. My fingers are all tore up from pushing 🤣🤣
Do you sell these?
😍😍😍🍀🍀🍀 💚💚💚
Progetti molto belli, peccato che non siano disponibili in lingua italiana.
I'm struggling with the decrease. The math doesn't work when decreasing. You start with 72 and for every 8 stitches, it decreases the count by 1, but you do this a total of 9x, therefore your final stitch count ends up being 63, not 64. I've frogged this 3x already!!
Oh no.. I'm doing this pattern now 😮
