Some people just dont understand the time it takes to do all of this, I have a 95 bronco and it was in about the same condition as this one. I bought it from a 85 year old man that bought the truck brand new in 94 with 3 miles on it and he said he moved to Alabama from Florida in 99 with 11k miles and it had set there ever since it took me about 3 days to get it looking like new didn't know about any of these chemicals or it would have been alot better
I can personally attest to this statement. I was a professional detailer for many years and I have fully detailed MANY cars of the years. To FULLY detail an older car that needed this much work takes hours and hours depending on how bad it is.
@@kseal25 are you asking about changing the color of everything or just detailing the interior, changing the color of everything will depend on where you buy certain parts just 1 door panel is $535 dash was $900 my seats were about $3,500 and to change headliner was $100, it all depends on what you wanna do

I wonder if the green layer on the outside actually protected the paint and the metal. It didn't rust or fade because that layer of moss/mold was covering it.
What I love about this channel is the extraction part, you really really get all the dirt and grime out, some other channels will just say "the carpet is too far gone"
The detailing on this channel is something else, don't think I've seen it anywhere else, taking care to ensure the water from the seats are clear is an extra level of care
Really admire how hard you work on these worn out and old vehicles to get them looking great again. Not only do you clean intensively, but paint and literally restore the vehicles, which most detailers won't even attempt. Most detailing channels you see are brand new or nearly new cars getting hours of polishing and ceramic coatings, which I can appreciate. But you take on old stuff most wouldn't even entertain. Great work 👏 👍
Ah I haven’t had a car for while I forgot how much goes into cleaning it I still remember lugging the vacuum and steam cleaner to the driveway with mom calling to “ make sure you do it right I’m going to check....like it’s my car why are you checking it. Ah the joy of dogs who shed if you don’t do it right you will know cause then your car smells like wet dog.

Never had a carpet extractor, power washer, or a steam cleaner, we couldn't spare the cash. I didn't even know steam cleaners were a thing before discovering these detailing videos.
@@myaoneill6066 yes well if you have pets & carpet in your house you learn pretty fast it’s worth investing in a carpet cleaner / steam cleaner . A towel only gets up so much of the mess even grown pets can have accidents especially if they get into human food.
WoW this was awesome! Love to see that Badass old Bronco getting some T.L.C. This so-called "customer" knew this was good truck right off the bat. Looked like one spot of rust/oxidation on the roof. Nothing in the fender wells, pinch welds, cab corners, fender flares ect... Probablly going to need some mechanical work. After that I would daily drive that truck. Gotta love an old Ford!😎👍 The best never rest, they just hibernate in the woods for a decade or so LoL
Tom J you can get a full set of interior flooring for I think around 340. I looked into it when I was detailing my bronco but decided I’d just stick to the original vinyl and power wash it
You all did a great job on that truck! I'm impressed the paint was that good! I had an 86 F150 where the power washer would have taken all the paint off! You could see the paint flake off the hood on a warm day! When Ford went from solvent to water based paint. Took a few years to get that down! Red is notorious for not being UV stable, so the fading was expected. And there was way too much red on the inside anyway. Doing the carpets black was a good idea. I wish you'd given us a few minutes on how you brushed the dye into the carpet fibers. Overall, I'm guessing the owner is very happy! What a great job! Thanks for the video!
I never knew the power of buffing and how vital it is to paint. All this time I've been refusing to buff my car because I thought that nothing would ever bring it back, but I'm having second thoughts now. Edit: Absolutely amazing work as always!
IKR they hardly showed it . I could be wrong but them not really showing makes me think it turned out pretty bad . I could be wrong but it seemed like they spent a lot of time showing what went right ! Paint looks great on the outside for sure !
The one thing I’ll say is don’t be afraid to use your steamer on interior panels. It’s not going to be any worse than the pressure washer you used on the other interior panels. Love your videos!

The editing on the back window work. Where you reversed it from the interior and then played it forward from the exterior. That was slick, thanks for these vids man.
That would seem to make sense given that a new set is only about 300 bucks. If you're doing it yourself and can write off the labor cost it might make sense to clean and paint it, but when you're paying someone else by the time they've done all the legwork you're easily at the cost of a new set.

Aftermarket carpets are worse quality. They fade pretty quick too(ACC brand) and the thickness isnt the same. Went thru this with my foxbody mustangs and 1990 bronco

Years ago I was the factory representative for Kar Kraft systems……we were the back end distributor for all car dealers in the mid Atlantic and I can really appreciate the chemicals needed to accomplish this transformation for the used car recon and new car get ready…….we were also the distributor for the complete Meguires Mirror Glaze line up……this young man does a nice job, and like everything else you must have the right equipment…….

Wow guys, you didn’t disappoint again. Incredible transformation, I honestly didn’t mind the hour video, I’ve would’ve watched it even it was like two to three hours. Sometimes I think all that mold and mildew on cars actually works as a protectant cause after a good polish this thing looks new again

I had a 1991 Eddie Bauer edition bronco in high school. Best damn vehicle I ever owned. When I see one get destroyed in movies it kills me internally cause I know it probably took 10+ Different Broncos to make those movies and all I can think is there’s just 10 less of these gems on the street now. I can’t say I agree with painting those beautiful rims black but I am very happy to see a bronco get brought back from the dead. I will own another one eventually. Hopefully I can buy an old abused one like this and get her cleaned up in mint condition like y’all did. Thanks for the video

The exterior is not mold. It is all different type of moss.
Some must lichen that to mold. I'd say it hit or moss whether you let that sort of thinking take root.

Carpet and fabric paint .. if you google that you will find it. Don't go buy a can of black paint from home depot and try to use it on your carpet.

I was never a fan of this body style. The only Broncos I have owned ( and currently own) are the 1978 and 1979.

The mold and algae acted as a protectant, soaking up all the harmful UV rays and other weather thus protecting the paint and everything else.
