Great job cleaning this car. It turned out well at the end. I have a few questions though: 1. How did you get a car that sat under a tree for 20 years to the spot where you were able to wash it? It doesn't look like you washed it under the tree where it sat for all of those years. 2. I noticed that there was a decent amount of air in the tires before the cleaning process was started. Did you pull the wheels and replace the tires before cleaning the car? I would think that the original tires would have dry rotted and wouldn't hold any air after sitting for 20 years. There was also not much dirt or rust on the lug nuts and wheels leading me to think that you might've swapped them out in the process of moving the car. 3. How big was the tree? It must have completely covered the car since none of the paint seemed to have faded with the car being outside and exposed to the elements for so long. It really looks like the car had been washed and had a very good coat of wax before it was left under that tree for all those years. There was no visible oxidation and the paint had a surprisingly bright shine with the first pass of the pressure washer. 20 years of being exposed to Florida weather clearly seems to be less hard on a car than if this car had been left under a tree in a lot of other places in this country. Again, the cleaning job came out nicely in the end.

After graduating in 91 bought a 78 buick regal with the same body style. Watching this brought back memories of cruising constantly listening to tribe called quest. Roads were empty and gas was 99 cent a gallon. Thanks for vid.
I would love to know the full backstory on this car. There are no dings. The interior is nearly flawless. But yet it was left outside long enough to mold over? Maybe cars do that quicker in Florida? For a car to look like that in Missouri, you are talking years ... or decades. And when the mold comes off, so does most of the paint.
I live in Florida and it's very humid and rains a lot and my dad's 1969 oldsmobile delta-88 only sat for 2 years and it already has a big patch of mold on the seat.
We really liked it when you explained every step and every cleaning solution that you used on the interior cleanings!! I detail clean my car to dealership quality regularly.. due to my o.c.d.
Reminds me of the 90s when all of us drove around w/ our Regals, Caprice’s, and Caddy’s on McClaines or Daytons. Candy paintjobs in the garage and two 15s bumpin E40. The best era to be young and free. This car is dope.
@Morning star Garage you are right, cars were distinct back in the 50s to the mid 80s but the reason these cars were abandoned was because they were gas guzzlers which is no good as a daily driver. its nice in 2020 to have a classic but you really could not use this car daily unless you were loaded, so it will become a garage queen that in time will be flipped for a healthy profit to become a garage queen somewhere else
imagine gas at 65 cents a galleon and a 3 ton car that did 12 MPG and was not very reliable. Thats why this car was abandoned when the guy was 18. now he is 38 plus with a reliable daily driver he can afford to wheel this car out of the forest and reminisce. sorry to pop the nostalgia bubble i also grew up in the 70s as a teenager so like old things but leave a car long enough and it turns from a clunker into a classic

I remember driving a car just like this. It was a custom car in Black & gold exactly the same as this red & white. Difference was the one I drove had a smoked glass T-Sunroof. The interior dash & gearshift console on the floor had wood grain appointments. A Gorgeous car. it was a 442 However It had power steering issues. I was rounding a tight corner when the power steering failed, it was like steering the titanic, I was able to just park the car & that was it I couldnt steer it after that. I would love to drive another one. I also drove another Cutlass Supreme prior to the black & gold one, It was a 69 Cutlass, has the same massive power plant under the hood, a real joy & luxury to drive such a car. Crazy how all that shit almost protects the paint as long as these cars don’t get sun damage you can basically get it back to perfect. Awesome job
Can’t hear the owners reaction. 😞 awesome job though! Binge watched almost all your videos! Lol...
We apologize for that, we think UA-cam muted it because there was a lot of cussing. When we proof watched it the audio was there. But thank you so much for the support!!🙏🏼
That car is a gem. Nice job! Under all that is a gorgeous red!! Love it
After graduating in 91 bought a 78 buick regal with the same body style. Watching this brought back memories of cruising constantly listening to tribe called quest. Roads were empty and gas was 99 cent a gallon. Thanks for vid.
No audio for the customer reaction at the end. :( But otherwise amazing!!
I noticed his first word was a swear word. I wonder if they muted that and forgot to unmute? 😛
@@ebridgewater ah good theory, you're probably right
And he puts his hands all over it.
It’s crazy how all that crust protects the paint
Because it's fake af
We really liked it when you explained every step and every cleaning solution that you used on the interior cleanings!! I detail clean my car to dealership quality regularly.. due to my o.c.d.
Reminds me of the 90s when all of us drove around w/ our Regals, Caprice’s, and Caddy’s on McClaines or Daytons. Candy paintjobs in the garage and two 15s bumpin E40. The best era to be young and free. This car is dope.
All the mold and dirt seems to always make a pretty good ghetto paint saver for the most part
Imagine a world where no two cars look exactly alike. Well that was the 70s and before.
@@insertnamehere5146 yeah but that was all cars til the japanese cars showed up and they were rust buckets til they figured that out. Life wasnt as expensive because you didnt have 10,000 options like you do today. Killing time was a skill.
wow i didnt think the roof was going to come clean , aweome
So great to see how much respect these guys had for this car. No pressure washer or whatsoever. The paint shone beautifully at the end.
I'm sitting here in amazement, had to watch it twice!!! Can't believe my eyes, the paint looks BRAND NEW!!! GREAT JOB 👍
Coming from someone who is a tire tech I’m so satisfied seeing how good those tires are compared to it’s car situation lol.
This was so amazing and enjoyable! Loved the customer reaction!! I would love to have this beauty!!
Man this is more satisfying than watching your favorite series on Netflix Lol
I bet you guys had a great time with this. The pride after doing this for a classic, priceless.
Beautiful job! I had one just like it back when I was younger, it was gray with a black vinyl top. Brings back the memories. Thanks. Love your videos. Keep them coming.
Damn. I thought it was rust.
Good thing it was just
dried blood.
😂
Next episode: "Removing the body from a BLOODY Buick!"
I thought someone took a big bloody dump all over the roof.
Lmao 🤣
What is up MAD DETAILING!!! Oh I am loving all these detail channels especially the ones that are so original!! unlike a guy named James Stauffer. I hope you read these comments and noticed that we have a whole community that is not very happy with the fact that this man has not only taking the exact blueprint of another well-established detailing influencer re-created it and copied footage and photo, and made it his own in fact it confuse people into thinking that detail geek was the one that copied him. There’s a place for everybody on UA-cam right??? Nah nah nah nah.
Listen James Stauffer garage bought a shit ton of lily brushes and started to resell them for profit on a different site lily brush has never sponsored them in fact they didn’t they were not aware that what he had done with getting rid of the child they bought from China with other peoples money and you know duck tape his dumb and made him do sign language because they didn’t want to teach him any English because he came from China, he didn’t know the language. This child has come from trauma which they specifically asked for. after they got this child from China everybody was against it they told them no they tried to tell them no again it didn’t work they said they wanted it this was the child they wanted when they realize that this child needed a mother and father to love and take care of him...That he could trust for the rest of his life to take care of him because for some reason he wasn’t able to stay with his original parents.
We don’t know the whole situation from China but we do know the whole situation before China and after China this family exploits their children and it all started with Mika Stauffer purposely getting pregnant with her first husband so that she didn’t have to work and did the most disgusting disgraceful thing a mother can do to hurt a man and Held their child from him he couldn’t see her and she basically moved from place to place making it difficult for him to stay near his daughter but he did it because he is a good man.
Then for some reason she Saul James skinny ass with no hair and no personality a teaching her about algorithms on UA-cam and what’s going to work in what’s not and quite obviously her channel was not at all working so they found something that did and that included adopting a child with special needs which they requested for so it wasn’t a shock to them when they got him and he was having meltdowns was having meltdowns because he had a camera in his face 24 seven hit a camera in his face and he was having meltdowns because he needed hugs he needed loves he needed Quality time with his parents that said to him this is your forever home. This piece of shit needs to go down he needs to be off youtube. anybody who is associated with him I am not threatening you I’m not threatening them I’m just saying we are going to do everything we can to tell his truth of what he didJames down whatever means possible. He is still profiting off of Huxley Child exploited every day for views and ask around the world for people to fund them to go to China funding them to bring him back funding him via entire time on UA-cam and give this child away and neglect did you tell everybody who help them out that he is no longer with them because they could handle it and they still kept the videos up making money In every cockroach of a way to get around
I've always like Midsized cars because you got the best of the compact & fullsize car, easy to drive, roomy interior too.
I really like the colour combo on this great vehicle. You guys really brought this back to life it looks amazing, be proud of this one.
The award for most adverts in 1 video goes to you 😂 great detail though 👍🏼
As always, another great transformation! Love the music too, so much nicer than some of the horrendous music some other detail channels use.
Keep it up!
Lost sound at the end. Would've liked to hear him talking about his car! :-(
2 things to relieve stress riding motorcycles and watching detailing videos 😁
Thankyou for bringing back the classics
I think I dozed off during the pressure washing, guess I'll have to watch again!
Good work but the sound cut off during the customer reaction.
I wondered if it was just me.
Customer cursed during it and UA-cam doesn’t like that
as soon as the owner started smudging his oils all over and slapping the car I was like, “AHHHHH STOP TOUCHING HER! GET OFF HER!” lol good job guys! Hopefully he’s still taking care of her! 🥺
I am just speachless... outstanding! Unbelievable!
That's the best detail job I have ever seen
The idea that someone parked this car outside and ignored for all those years is in itself mind boggling... excellent job cleaning her up!!
"after i finish picking up all these personal items"
*places dog turd in box*
oh man hes really saving everything
As funny as that would be, it was actually just a rubber hose ;)
I think this video had more commercials than any other youtube video I've ever watched.
ad block plus
I didn't notice any; but, I use uBlock Origin and another ad blocker on top of that. It helps. No ads here.
Please don't take this personal as we all learn every day and make mistakes and tend to forget things. But don't forget to clean underneath the side mirrors when spraying. Thanks for uploading , it was a pleasure to watch. Stay blessed
I am at a loss for words on that exterior transformation. Great job man!
Sweet!! Your work is impeccable.
Also, thank you for allowing your subscribers to spread the word of the horrible James and Myka Stauffer. Cancel @Jamesstauffer
You should watch a video made by UA-cam psychologist Dr. Todd Grande on Myka Stauffer and of how she is such a horrible nasty person. I'm certain that if she saw the video; Myka would probably make a video where she "calls out" Dr. Grande for having outed her as a selfish inconsiderate jerk by branding him as a bully and a liar, adding that "he would have no idea about how stressful it was for her to care for a child with severe developmental delays."
I wish you’d come out and talk about Stauffer garage.
He has over 1 million subscribers because he steals content from you and other detailing channels.
MAD detailing is not associated with Stauffer Garage in any way. Why is there a conspiracy theory going on that these two are related.
Detailing a car is detailing a car. How tge he'll can yousteal content
@@Livie84 The videos are edited in the exact same way, the thumbnails are very similar in style. One week M.A.D detailing or Detail Geek comes out with a video about detailing a moldy car, the next week Stauffer Garage comes out with a video about detailing a moldy car.
@@kate4641 yeah but aint going to watch a vid of someone washing a clean car now are you
@@Livie84 No I’m not going to watch someone clean an already clean car, but that’s irrelevant.
There’s plenty of room on UA-cam for multiple detailing channels, but there’s a way to do it to make it your own, instead of just copying another popular channel.
I’m done. 🙄
"An extremely mouldy barnfind, that has been sitting outside".
Huh?
Are you slow? The client had an old car that was sitting outside his barn... and it was moldy.... is that hard to understand?
@@evanshoulders3674 Are you having one of those days when the literal meaning of words is just beyond your grasp?
@@reijerlincoln it’s funny cuz that the question I’m asking you
Probably the only time I’ve ever seen a dime a dozen 80’s gutless actually look good. I hated these sleds. But the cleaning job you did is absolutely amazing!! Great job!!
all the cars then were smogged down
It is amazing how well the seals, paint, tires and body panels held up to the weather, rust, sun and the Florida heat and humidity.
This is one of the BEST automobile detailing, I have seen in awhile!!!
Thank you so much!
What a lovely old car. I love old cars, they're the best
Well... It's WAY past my bedtime. Don't know where the last 30 mins went... But, this was a complete joy to watch. Have to say though, I'm a bit annoyed at how this magnificent old car was just left to rot. What a state it was in. 😔 But then the magic began. The dedication and care and hard work made the old phoenix rise from the ages and boy oh boy...WHAT a transformation! Beautiful beautiful car and, if that was mine it would be loved to bits. Anyway, fantastic job. A pleasure to watch. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Love that you guys show the polishing process not many detail channels show that!
Love it.. my dad had a 79 cutlass black with a white top.. this brings back some memories
Never thought watching some one wash a car would be so relaxing, I so needed this some reason. 👍
Woow... That detail job just blew me away‼️😎👍
By far the best detailing videos on UA-cam!
This is so satisfying to watch and I can’t believe that pressure wash can take away the 20 yrs worth of rust and dust in a sec 👍👍👍 very well done ❤️❤️❤️
I’m watching this high asf but god damn beautiful car
watching the paint appear under all that filth was so satisfying to watch!
Love it! Always check your mics. I’ve had that happen to me getting a testimony from a customer. It’s heart wrenching. I now test it before they start speaking.
