Thank you. Un abbraccio forte.
I think that brief language tips are a great idea
Thank you, but you don't need them!!
Language and talking to others is everyday life!!
Absolutely right. It's an important part of everyday life.
Great idea and a welcome addition to the usual education on the wonders of Lucca
Thank you
Love the new direction you inspire us so much thank you
Thank you , that means a lot to us.
Looking forward to the new developments.
Thank you
We were very happy to hear about your proposed new format. Your upcoming videos featuring various local citizens and their work, tips on pronouncing simple phrases, and how to cook simple dishes will be eagerly anticipated during the upcoming weeks. Thank you also for allowing Joyce to have a cameo role in today’s video. It is alway a treat to see four-legged Italians in your videos.
Thank you for your kind words and Joyce is a very dear four legged friend but he was ra bit cranky that morning. .
Great direction! Grande direzione! This will help on our next visit! Thanks again for all you are doing.
Grazie mille!
Grazie mille anche a voi
Video meraviglioso dedicato a una citta' gioiello 🫠👌
Grazie.
Good language tip about ordering at a bar!
Grazie
I like the language tips, as well as the etiquette tips that come along with them. A dopo! 😉
It is true that etiquette changes from country to country. We have to remember to adapt when we travel between our families.
Perhaps you could focus on one particular artist, shop owner, etc. and interview them. Love the cooking demonstrations!
Thank you for your kind words and suggestions. We will indeed do that. We have recently posted a video with an interview and demonstration with two young sculptors. If you have not seen it this is the link. ua-cam.com/video/IZ-Y_a2Gcnc/v-deo.html
New microphones sound fantastic! Your new directions sounds like it will be a lot of fun, and the simple suggestion to "pronounce every letter" in grazie and per favore is a great memory tool. Grazie!
Arts and crafts! Perfect !😊 . Regards from Argentina !🙌
How exciting to have followers in Argentina, thank you so much for being with us. I think you will enjoy our video next week with our sculptor friends.

Thank you, and I can assure you Enzo will continue with his cooking.
Loved your new video, camera and sound are great. We are looking forward to a week in Lucca in September. The language tips are going to be a welcome feature. Thank you for producing such helpful videos..... Sue
Thank you. Lucca in September is wonderful: mild weather and lots of events.

Grazie! Love your videos and I think the new concept is a great idea. Looking forward to more videos. And I can't wait to one day visit Lucca.
Thank you , and please add any suggestion as you watch the videos. Feedback is so helpful.
Celia I love your English!
Thank you
Lucca has so much music. I love walking pass the music school and there is always a concert going on. Are there instrument makers in Lucca. Interview some of the singers, pease! Thank you for your wonderful work!
Thank you for your kind words. Lucca is as you say a city of music. There is a very good violin maker in the old town.
I love your videos!😃
Thank you, comments keep us going,
Sounds like a great idea but hope Enzo is going to continue with his fantastic recipes !!
Enzo will certainly still be in the kitchen. X
Subscribed today. Great work so far and your new ideas will work fine. Also looking forward to learn more about building and art renovations / conservation. Perhaps you could focus on the network of artists and professionals you need in order to renovate and restructure older buildings. Looking forward to our vaccation in Bagni di Lucca/Lucca next month. Thanks!
Thank you very much for subscribing. I thought you might be interested in the video about our old farmhouse, where Celia describes it. In another video (a culinary one) at the end of it we show how we repaired the ancient roof. I'm leaving the links below. Have a wonderful holiday in Bagni di Lucca and if see us say hello.

I'm 100% on board -- especially if Enzo continues to cook.
Sounds like a nice new direction for your channel. I have been a subscriber for some time now. I have lived in Firenze, back in the States now, but I am moving back in about 4-6 weeks. This time I will be living in Sicily in Castellammere del Golfo. Very exciting!!! GraziE, Paul
Thank you for following us and also for subscribing. Castellammare del Golfo is a beautiful sea town with wonderful weather.
You guys are amazing. I love watching your content. I am headed to Tuscany in a few weeks so your videos have me fired up! Enjoy your spring!
Thank you and please say ciao if you see us.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your new audio and your plans for the future! We’ll be in Lucca for about a week in mid-March so will be on the lookout in case we see you!
Thank you for your encouragement we hope to keep learning and improving our content. We would love you to say Ciao and enjoy Lucca.
Bella Lucca e bello anche il micetto😺
Joyce è il piccolo re della piazzetta. Delle volte scappa, altre invece cerca coccole.
You make a wonderful point about 15 minute cities to counteract all the conspiracy theories circulating at the moment - even in the House of Commons.
Of course, even most small villages still have most amenities these days. Unlike in the UK where most small villages have lost everything including the village pub and post office.
Thank you. Villages here find it hard to survive in the modern world but the small communities are fighting back to protect their way of life. In our village (population 300) we still have a good food shop and two restaurant/bars plus a summer club.
Caio! Buon video ! A presto
Grazie
New subscriber here, but been watching for a while now, love your new ideas for videos. We are visiting Lucca for 4 days in May and so looking forward to it!!
Thank you so much for pressing the subscribe button, it helps us so much. Lucca for decades was the hidden gem of Tuscany. Still very pleasant and relaxed. May is a wonderful month for visiting.
Great idea on moving your channel to new areas. Look forward to more viewings. Maybe we’ll send you some suggestions.😂 Audio is a big improvement. Thanks
Glad the microphone is working. All suggestions more than welcome.
Love the language tips!
Thanks so much.
I would love some real estate advice on buying in and around Lucca.
For instance town or country? Pros cons.
Price of works to
Replace roof
Remove cement render etc
Thankyou for your videos!
If you write to us at infopiazzatalk@gmail.com we might be able to give you some help.
Your ideas sound great. Really looking forward to hearing the language tips. I keep trying to speak Italian when we are in Lucca but lack confidence so it should help me. We're coming over next week so looking forward to seeing the magnolia's now!
The magnolias should be perfect , Italians are very forgiving with language mistakes and are delighted when tourist try to speak their language though the young like to practice their English. Please say ciao if you see us. Have a wonderful time in Lucca.
@@PiazzaTalkLucca Will do can't believe how warm and sunny it is here at the moment. It was freezing in England when we left on Wednesday morning!
The idea of the 'new direction' is good and even better when you think it might encourage more people to watch and learn - especially the small segments of language tips which have a nicely didactic ring. As for 'undiffentiated' I imagine it equates to the British 'non-recyclable' bins but it might also mean anything which has not been separated into categories in which case one wonders why people need to bother separating things at all and just put the lot in the undifferentiated bin - which makes me wonder does it suggest 'non-recyclable'. The Town Council should know or maybe the piazza cat.
I hope that you are not taxed every time you use the bins - chips on cards and surveillance and all that. The police state encroaches. Glad the cooking is continuing after all we all have to eat so that we can put something in the bins.
Hugh, you are correct. it is the non recyclable. It is the smallest bin to encourage us all to divide the rubbish properly. We pay an annual rubbish tax which is separate to house taxes as in Italy you don't pay a local tax on your fist home but you pay rubbish, which can be quite high. The new direction will develop over the weeks. Please keep up with your feedback.
Are you living in Lucca or Bagni di Lucca? I love them both. What are the pros and cons of living in each? Thanks again for your warm Tuscan content!
Both places are beautiful. We love living in the nature in Bagni di Lucca but come to Lucca every so and so as we have a small pied-à-terre as we rent the house out to tourists . Lucca is very convenient you get everything within 15 minutes, there is always something going on but life in the countryside is magic: One need to be be more organised for shopping, heating (if you us wood) but in our case the views, the walks, the pure air, wildlife have no price.
Thank you for helping with the language tips. We love the city and will be returning in fall for 2 months, hope to see you there sometime, Do you have an apartment in Lucca as well as your beautiful house in the hills? What part of Lucca do you stay when you are in the ciity? Keep showing the cooking too, Grazie
Thank you. We live in the countryside but we have a small pied-à-terre in town where we stay when we rent the country house to tourists.
Why would you need a microchip card to access the trash bins? Who issues these and how would a visitor dispose the trash?
Rubbish collection is a big issue in Italy and every local authority have their own rules. In the old town in Lucca we have a microchipped access to the bin to avoid (they say) that people living nearby with more stringent rules don't dispose of their garbage in town. Visitors in Lucca are given a microchipped card for their stay by their host/landlord. There are also free bins for the tourists everywhere. In Italy we pay a rubbish tax that is separate to the local house tax.
@@PiazzaTalkLucca Its amazing how different when visiting Japan, as there are virtually no public trash cans, you basically are expected to bring your trash home or politely ask a street vendor with a small bin if you can deposit small trash items. We will be in Lucca and look forward to wandering around using the many useful video tips from both of you. 8-)
Different countries, different towns, different rules. If you see us in Lucca, please say hello.
