  • Meditation is a practice that can benefit your health and wellness in so many ways. I’ve been trying to meditate more lately, so I was inspired to make a basic how to meditate video focusing on creating beautiful visuals and experimenting with ways I can improve my craft. Do you meditate? I’m curious to know why you meditate and how it’s affected your life :)

@@masum1731 Hey, I'm not the best to ask about this, I'm not an expert, but the things I know about it is that you have to sit straight, comfortably, focus and visualize your breathing, and do your best to only have that in mind. It will be easier with practice. The goal of meditation, is to be mindful, and in the moment. To fully appreciate your life while living it, to be as tuned in with your spiritual powers as possible. ( it also helps a lot if you have anxiety). But please don't just take my word for it, read, watch videos, and educate yourself on the matter. Good luck !!💜⭐

For once I dont know if it is "meditation" or not, I'm just a ten year old, I'm not some kind of monk. But once when I was trying to calm my mind by the way my mom taught me, "feel like your sitting by the ocean, feel the motion of the waves and don't think of anything." And once, when I tried that, in my mind, it felt like when I was "sitting by the ocean", a bird flew out of nowhere! I wasn't even thinking about a bird! And after that, I felt, more.. Umm.. How should I explain this.. Like... Calm and can think more easily? That is the most suitable way to describe it for me, srry if your confused😅

I've never tried meditation while sitting down, but what I've always done is when I'm about to sleep, I just lay down and completely clear my mind and focus on keeping it clear. Minutes later I would feel like I'm floating off my bed and my head feels like someone is giving me a head massage. Feels really good and helps me sleep very quickly.

I used to be able to mediate fairly good. But lately I can't seem to quiet my mind enough. It seems to go a mile a minute with all kinds of thoughts. But I don't want to give up on mediation just yet.

Do you have to make inhalation and exhalation equal and do you have to breath in deep

    • @SmilyLily1996
      @SmilyLily1996 7 років тому +2

maybe try just very short amounts of time at a time.
Like plan in 10-15 minutes, but really meditate in bursts if you have trouble keeping your mind quiet. Like, start just with a minute, focusing on your breath as mentioned in the video. If a minute works, even with a little trouble, try two minutes. I would just give about half as much time, then go again.
I don't actually know if this is a technique, but I imagine it could work. Just make sure you don't have any distractions, like your phone or another person. Just take time for yourself.

came here because my friend told me that it would help me to relax, since I've been complaining about my recent panick attacks, plus me not having enough sleep not because I don't have time, but because I just can't. She said maybe I am overthinking, and I really am, I tend to have a lot of thoughts specially when it's time to rest that is why I can't sleep a blink. I hope meditating is the solution🥺

    TRUE STORY
me: okay, I finished the writing part of my assignment, now I just have to study meditation, meditate for 20 minutes, and then write about my experience
    THE PROCESS
me: finds this video and takes it word for word, making up 3 pages of notes about meditation
    makes a quizlet
    then masters that quizlet
    does 20 minutes of meditation
    writes about the experience
and then finally, send my teacher this video (source), pictures of my notes, a link to my quizlet, and my experience paper
    (grade to be revealed . . .)

Merry Christmas I tried meditation for the first time for 10 minutes I used my bean bag chair. It did feel good but I felt like my back could of been straight. Seems like everyone does it differently conflicting opinions get confusing to me you said eyes must be closed other peaple say it really doesn't matter. Some peaple use candles to concentrate.
