That video could cover some useful things, but its really just learning every setting and trick you can in your synth/VST 1 by 1 until you can listen to a sound and know what specific setting(s) recreate that sound
Pretty sure they vary it up to avoid copyright strikes if it sounds too close to the original. But it works if you want to replicate the original so hey~
