If you already have our Tyrannosaur course then this isn't going to be much use to you I'm afraid. This is a FREE CHAPTER from the course and is intended to give artists a glimpse into the content and see how we structure and deliver our paid training.

Really helpful thanks! A tip for drawing dots which look random if to draw them in triangles, so 1-2-3, 1-2-3 and so on. no idea why this works but it really helps to prevent clumping.

The alpha images do not have to be round, because Nomad Sculpt only uses the area inside the red circle by the falloff you get a smooth transition at the edges.

What canvas size do you normally use for a Alpha?

How did you get the scales at 16:20 to lay on top of each other, without the black from one layer covering the white from the drawing?

The background layer is black but the white layers only have white or nothing. Therefore as you duplicate them they are only adding white over white. Its why we do the white bit on layers.
