I'm very sorry for the low energy on this batch of videos. I had just spent 4 days in Seattle for PAX, got off a plane at 5pm and immediately had to record audio and edit today's videos. Thanks for putting up with it. - Azario
There’s no need to apologize.
Amazing watch as always
Appreciate all of you!
Hey Azario remember you don’t HAVE to do anything man, don’t burn yourself out. It’ll be brutal in the long run if you keep up this quantity mate. All the best. Mark
@@NoisyPixelNews, anytime.
man these ds games are fucking masterpieces
GOTY considering it's only $25 and Konami actually made a new Castlevania game for it. I have been wanting this collection for years, so glad these games are available again. I beat OoE last night, PoR is next. We nearly have all of the Castlevania games now on modern hardware, so cool.
Only $22.49 now
That is the dumbest logic.
I really hope Konami will port Harmony of Despair eventually. Despite it not being everyone’s cup of tea I really enjoyed the multiplayer for that game.
Oh god me and two of my friends had some of the best laughs playing that game!
Missed opportunity for multiplayer bonus. But I understand they didn’t want to pay for servers.
So happy these are released like this
0:45 Correction here. This collection is not available on PS4 or Xbox One.
Shanoa's pixelated self hotter than most girls I know.
True
You need to get out more.
@@pauls9034why? Are there vampire girls?
@@pauls9034You're saying there's more out there ?
@@pauls9034 Haha, nice try, kid.
I’m still reeling from the last Advance Collection barrage and now this!
The gods must be listening 🙏
Amazing Rev as usual ❤
This entire collection is worth it just for the ability to play as Julius Belmont again.
Those are my favourite castlevania games 💙
Portrait of Ruin has an amazing soundtrack and reignited my love for Castlevania after having been dorment since the Super nintendo era. I never got around to the others. I plan to rectify that with this collection.
Amazing collection! 25 for 3 of the best metroidvania games ever made is a steal! Hopefully the 64 games get ported as well
The 2 N64 titles, along with the 2 PS2 titles, would be a great 3D collection. The bonus game could be a port of Castlevania Rebirth. I'd buy this in an instant!
@christlevania5933 oh God yes!
Woof. The N64 games are awful.
@pauls9034 that's your opinion...woof
Love Order of Ecclesia. I thought we would never get it again because of that stupid end of boss touch screen deal. I am glad the whole package runs well, which was the main reason to watched your review.
You're thinking of Dawn of Sorrow.
The only touch screen gimmick in Order of Ecclesia is the teleport ability in Albus Mode.
Order of Eccelsia is my fav Castlevania game ever, HOT TAKE! Love the artstyle the most of the DS games and love extra challenge it has. Amazing SotN sequel. Rondo of Blood, SotN, and Order of Eccelsia work well as a trilogy.
Now people can finally understand that Dark Souls and Elden ring are Castlevaina class games! (The dominus system)
In OOE you can tell if there is something still in an area. Just check the map and see if you have 100%. Not the best solution, but its nice its there.
We need to acknowledge that Johnathan saying "No problemo" is a problem...
I only played Order of Ecclesia and Symphony of the Night. I liked Order more as Symphony was directionless. The game never told me I could beat it hours ago. For days I was wondering where I was supposed to go next until I randomly decided to fly up a cliff and came across Dracula. Even though I liked Ecclesia more the game's item drop rate is so bad. I just wanted to upgrade a couple abilities but the drop rates were so small it was frustrating. Super grinding is not fun. Nier Automata had this problem too.
Will this game become the OLED screen killer?
OoE is outstanding
I started with ecclesia, loving it but damn its hard compared to sotn, reminds me of my childhood troubles with castlevania 3
I would've wanted a screen filter for the DS titles. The raw pixels look horrible blown up to a modern screen. The Filters used for Haunted Castle looks great and should've been an option to soften this raw look. Ah well.
I agree. I played marvel vs Capcom 2 recently without the filter and, well, I never thought Morrigan could look unattractive until I played it without scanlines 😂 - Azario
@@NoisyPixelNews Though it didn't work as well in this game due to the smaller side views of the character stat and map screens, you should look into Shaderglass. It's an overlay that even has some CRT presets, and you can change the size of what's on screen, so you can fine tune scanlines, etc.
Some of the presets are very good. I use it on retro 2D games to get rid of the raw pixel look, which games NEVER looked like back in the pre-flat screen days.
I'm upset that they didn't let us use the filter that was in the old collection that was an option for Dracula X.
The solution I found was using shaders with Reshade, it's a lot of work but it looks gorgeous...even on modern games with pixel art like Death's Gambling, the results are amazing...
@@darkmithrill3do348 Shaderglass also works well. Plenty of filters, CRT or not. But it's dumb because the game already has filter options for the Haunted Castle games. They should just let us try them on the main games.
You had me at ds games but the previous collections didn't hook my attention after a hour or two gameplay...
I'd buy this but only if they fixed the problem of the luck stat not working.
I just hope the physical copy won't have jacked up prices like the Advanced collection.
As much as I love these games, asking 60 bucks for GBA games is just criminal.
Id wager 40 is fair but you are getting ds games plus Haunted Castle and its amazing remake haunted castle revisited
Pretty sure it's pronounced "E~clee~sia".
It need full screen
rare, recent Konami W.
Now my collection is complete... I really don't care for 3D castlevanias. One Switch to rule them all, One system to play 99% (legally) all metroidvanias.
rare Konami W ?!
Getting more common hopefully
I feel like we're being set up to have the lever pulled right in front of us.
Wait is it playable on ps4?
Alas not, it's only ps5, switch and pc. Looks like I'm getting it for switch then.
sadly no or id be dropping another 24.99 on ps4 and xbone just support more games from konami maybe well a port of requiem on steam switch and xbox or a remake of sotn one day ,
one can hope right?
Yall think this would play better on steam deck or ps5
Does anyone else on pc have random screen flickering while playing this collection ?
Nah it plays normally for me
I love the castlevania series but I have to say OOE is one of my least favorite.
Still no filter choices and games that are, therefore, more pixelated than the originals.
At least you have 3-4 choices of screen sizes, contrarily to the advance collection where you had none.
I have no idea why M2 is always praised for its ports. They never do a great job.
The real Castlevania are in retroarch
True screen
Middel screen
Shaders on
You cant believe
not any graphic enhanced.....
Why are you ripping off the IGN format ?
We’ve been around for 6 years. We aren’t ripping off anyone, we’re following a foundation of how to conduct professional game reviews.
Plus, I think we do more reviews than IGN
... What?
IGN didn't invent reviewing games lmfao
