    As there is no way to store anything, a pull trailer would be perfect! Does anyone make them for this bike??

    Recently got my grizzly. Wasn’t able to find any info on panniers, but I grabbed the ortlieb back roller classic bags and they hook on just fine to the lower bars of the seat. It takes some small adjustment to get them right but I am totally happy with them as it allows me to carry my tools, bike chain, and a bunch of other stuff.

    • @ChrisDIYerOklahoma
      @ChrisDIYerOklahoma  2 роки тому

      THanks. I just Google searched those saddle bags (panniers)...they look nice! These bikes have enough power to tow a mini lightweight kiddo trailer. I think "that" would be sexy-cool with these Grizzly eBikes. Trick is safely mounting a hitch/receiver type deal to tow it.

    • @Sinisterclone
      @Sinisterclone 2 роки тому

      @@ChrisDIYerOklahoma I definitely wouldn’t mind going that route, but I find myself going off-road and other places that a trailer wouldn’t do well with. The bag(s) seem like the perfect compromise to me. Either way, appreciate your videos! Cheers.

      Can you share a photo of where / how these Ortlieb panniers hook on? I've been looking for a pair that work with the Grizzly without the cargo rack and haven't found anything. I'd buy them in a second if I could see how to hook them to the bike without them hitting a tire or chain.

    Nice lookin' bike. That seat is nice as well. My X Class is supposed to be delivered tomorrow. I'm a hair over 5' 8" pushing 275 lbs. Just got a lightly used Super73 Z1 the last week of Feb. Hoping this AR will be a little easier to ride. I have to say I was very surprised the low power 36 volt Z1 with 500 watt motor could push my fat a$$ around like it does. So I'm hoping this upgrade to AR will be more than I'm expecting. Still gotta keep the little Z1 for the mere fact that it fits in the backseat area of my Crown Vic and it comes in handy to be able to ride the Z1 home and leave the Crown at the shop to be serviced. I gotta feeling I'll eventually be changing handlebars and seat on my AR as well. Look forward to more of your upgrades.

      @ChrisDIYerOklahoma  2 роки тому +1

      Congrats! Those X Class bikes are really sweet. When I am on single motor mode, the bike has good power...enough to get up to about 28 mph or so. With two motors...you better hang on. It gets up to 36 mph with little effort and my 260 lbs

      @@ChrisDIYerOklahoma That's good to know. I'm gonna leave mine locked at class 2 speed until I get a little more skilled at riding it. I'm 65 yrs old and had a complete right hip replacement in 2020, so I gotta be careful with these old bones.

    This is such a cool ebike, and you have made it even cooler. Really well done with the upgrades, and it looks great. I've been looking at this ebike myself and after hearing how well it works for you, I think I'm going to pull the trigger on one myself. I wonder, have you thought about somehow upgrading your solar generator to add a 52v circuit to it to really increase range for an emergency or just a long weekend ride? That would make for a very cool video and then add it to the basket in the back you plan on getting. Keep up the great work.

    I should be getting mine in a week. Just got the tracking number.
    I'm pretty sure I'll want an extension on the back rack with panniers and a 2 leg center kickstand as I hate the single kickstands that don't hold the bike up if there is a flat.

    I received my bike on March 9, 2022. Took 24 days to arrive! What do you know about the air pressure for those rear shocks? I didn't see anything about it in the manual.

      @ChrisDIYerOklahoma  2 роки тому

      24 days...lucky you. There are videos on UA-cam about those rear shocks. I had to buy a special (small) air pressure inflator. It worked, but, my shocks lost a lot of pressure. So, I don't air them up
