I think the most forgettable Pokemon from Gen 1 is Dewgong, like its prevo is just a Seal named Seel, and its just a Dugong named Dewgong....
Including Bowser in a course that requires an exact single path is always a douche move, because Bowser's fire is random.

The cool thing about lanky Mario which is missing in SMM2 is that he actually has different jumping, similar to Luigi’s special jump. There’s no special jumping like that in the sequel
I think the least memorable gen 1 Pokemon is Dewgong. There’s so many other ice types and water types, and even more memorable versions of the same type combo. The Spheal line is adorable. Lapras has a Gigantamax form and an unforgettable role in the anime. Even the Shellder line is more memorable due to being a solid wall, and in Pokemon Go it drops a boatload of stardust

Paras was a meme in Legends Arceus, so it had some recent cultural significance. Personally I'd say something like Seadra because it got forgettable real quick with Kingdra in gen two, barely got any time before becoming a mid stage evolution

Most forgettable gen 1 pokemon (for me) are:
Dewgong and Fearow. I didn't really remember them when I looked at the gen 1 pokemon list.

Most forgotten pokemon that I can think of are similar to the ones you find early on but since they come later you never use them. Like Paras for example.

I would think Doduo and Dodrio are the most forgotten gen one pokemon. Most others have had some sort of new evolution or regional variant or have a pop culture influence.
It hasn't even been seen since gen 6 as a safari zone pokemon for dex completion.
i submit that due to the catchy pokerap there cant be a most forgotten gen 1 pokemon. theyre all too memorable.

DGR. I was talking to my nephew about you the other day and how you used to play all my levels years ago. He is 10 and just got into MM2
I always had a theory, and game controllers are no different, called the light bulb theory. You want to make something last just long enough to where the consumer feels they get their money's worth (incandescent bulb) but not so long that it puts the industry out of business (LED bulbs)

Surely if one can name a 'forgotten/forgettable' Pokemon it ceases to be so?
Believe most are referenced in the early series and movies, if not all of them.
On the few occasions I have attempted to recall Gen 1 I find once I get to down to the nitty gritty it gets trickier.
As for MM1, I miss the amiibo skins and other things that got changed/removed in 2.
Hopefully in a 3rd game they'll not only reconsider some of those decisions but spoil us with a proper SMB2 style as well as Wonder and all its crazy gimmicks.

I don't know when it happened, but it's sad to see that you've had to turn to becoming another video game "Yelltuber" in order to keep interest in your channel. I get that you have to do what the money dictates, as we all do, but it's sad to see it happen regardless. Especially since I KNOW that you don't want to be like that. Most forgotten Pokemon from Gen 1 is almost certainly Marowak. 1) Only available by level evolution 2) Base form only available in one location 3) Never shows up in a Gym Leader or Rival team 4) Doesn't show up again until the 7th Gen.
