Weirdly enough I moved over to Australia and in a small town in western NSW and have found multiple feijoa tress now everytime I go to collect the fruit which no one ever used to collect I usually come across the locals that I wondered what I was doing are now collecting them too
can't go past the fejoia lollies ! the purple or red spiders and the blue crocs are elite too. also bumping into someone from school is so kiwi 😂😂😂 of course there is someone you know anywhere you go 😂 keep it up from christchurch ❤

Feijoa are originally from South America. They are known as something like pineapple guavas or some such name if I recall correctly.
