Hot rodding lives on. That is a nice looking car. Scotty is less than a year older than I am, so he may understand what I did in the '70's. I had a 1961 Studebaker Lark, but the engine went out. I found a wrecked '60 Cadillac, and my friends and I put the 390 cubic inch Caddy engine and 4 speed hydramatic trans in the Lark. Looked stone stock outside, but it was fast!!
Man that engine bay though is cleaner than my future 🤣 lol .. I loved all the details and the hard work he put on the corolla ... and it’s really marvelous 😍 ... keep the hard work bro and wish to see more videos of this Corolla in the future after the tune with a new ecu 😎
I got a 95 Toyota corolla DX with only 59,000 miles it's a family car we never used just took up space, decided to use it instead of buying a car for my first car, dam this car runs smoothly no issues at all been driving it for about 7 months no issues and my parents bought that car brand new at the dealer shop back in 95
i have the same car and smoked all new other brand cars, got turbo on it im not planning to dump it since all cars eating my dust and the fuel is economical , only very small fraction , it can run all day long withouth refilling the gas
I had a pal at the job (this guy was son of a millionare from my country working with us just for fun and learning puprposes), he drove one of this, very standard exterior besides de low offset rims and low profiles tires, but inside the engine bay there was a big surprise, a camry v6 turbo engine modified by order in japan, the car was a complete sleeper and torque steer beast.
Now here we are in 2021 and the US market in these cars is taking off. I have a 96 and a 98. I just gave both of them the once over struts brakes rust work etc.
I miss my 90 Corolla SR-5, I made it look like a GT-S style (as the only mod I did). These were great cars to maintain & super reliable. These models were sporty looking too, low hood, flip up lights, etc. Why the heck did I ever sell that?!
Got a 97 Corolla CE 1.6L 4A-FE engine. No mods on this level, was my first car and two sisters have since owned it and still going strong. I like this bodystyle as well, have the last model year for it and really glad with my choice.
Have one of these & it runs like the day it left the factory , regularly run it 100 m.p.h up rt 287 .The drivetrain in these corollas are extremely reliable.
I own this model and am apart of this club he talked about! Very strong and very popular model toyota ever built i believe... And like he said it's very tunable from the engine to body parts.... Am from Saint lucia btw we worship these models also my colleagues in the Philippines and parkistan...👌💪
Dude did his research, they are in fact popular in the Caribbean. These 90s model Corollas still fetch a decent price here in Jamaica and they are a favorite among taxi drivers.

and you STILL see these corollas out on the streets today with 200,000+++ miles.
We have one of these, diesel 2.0 for 17yrs never a problem still runs fine 600.000kms.
Scotty you are putting more videos out there than me getting an opportunity to go to toilet. :)
Billy Carvalho I'm on there right now 😁
Thats true for me too. I poop like maybe twice or once a day
Same here on toilet
Lol....😂
Taco Bell can change that
I'm so glad that UA-cam recommended me this video. My grandpa used to own one in Bangladesh. It was with us for 21years. I miss it alot 😭
I had a gold 95 Corolla. I owned it for ten years!
Corolla out side is classic style.. But the engine is monster style... Wow.
What a coincidence! I was just watching another Scotty Kilmer video! Great mods to this Toyota. The owner did his homework in researching the how to, and it shows.
I knew that was gonna have a blacktop just from the sound. Awesome Car build.
Before the Corolla got hefty, I have a 94 dx 5 speed
It’s it Manual you lucky I have the wagon and wish it was Manual
@@mehkifontanez9029 gearing is great. Feel leaves alot to be desired, I'm sure the age of the car plays a role but the cable design of toyota were sucky. Clutch is lifeless but not soft. Still drive it daily
I got a 97 1.6 about 10 years ago with only 84k miles on it. Sold it to my son for 300. Learned how to fix cars with it. After fixing suspension it's running better then when I had it) 160k now)
It’s got way more life left in her keep that gem on the road
Had a 94 best car ever owned drove to 350,000 miles was too rusted to pass inspection at that point.
Loved the radiator cap as a temp gauge amazing .
I like the fact that he mentioned the caribbean....this car is going strong up to this day
Man that engine bay though is cleaner than my future 🤣 lol .. I loved all the details and the hard work he put on the corolla ... and it’s really marvelous 😍 ... keep the hard work bro and wish to see more videos of this Corolla in the future after the tune with a new ecu 😎
I started paying attention after the hood opened, thats nicely done, very nice work!
Man, that is sharp!
I almost bought this car back in the days but ended up buying the cheaper 95 civic. This is a solid, well built and has a quite ride. I like the mods.
Also a very popular car in Ireland! Known to be fairly bulletproof in standard form. My grandfather had a '97 with the 4E-FE engine.
I got a 95 Toyota corolla DX with only 59,000 miles it's a family car we never used just took up space, decided to use it instead of buying a car for my first car, dam this car runs smoothly no issues at all been driving it for about 7 months no issues and my parents bought that car brand new at the dealer shop back in 95
If its in any 3rd world country, the 1995 corrola is basically a Ferrari.
Until ppl start bringing in ferraris
do you know that the UAE considered a 3rd world country but ferraris and lambos are everywhere
@@dildofaggins9037 thats true. There's a lot of it .left in the dessert
U.A.E. was a 3rd world nation, but not anymore, especially with all that oil, its no longer 3rd world nation.
Bring in the Ferraris !!! and rev up your Ferrari engines !!!!!
Now that's a nice looking Corolla.
this is a proper build. congrats to the owner for making something different
i have the same car and smoked all new other brand cars, got turbo on it im not planning to dump it since all cars eating my dust and the fuel is economical , only very small fraction , it can run all day long withouth refilling the gas
4age 20v itb *eurobeat intensifies
I had a pal at the job (this guy was son of a millionare from my country working with us just for fun and learning puprposes), he drove one of this, very standard exterior besides de low offset rims and low profiles tires, but inside the engine bay there was a big surprise, a camry v6 turbo engine modified by order in japan, the car was a complete sleeper and torque steer beast.
The throttle response must be insane
you are absolutely right! I bet every mm of travel is noticeable!
yes you get that with a naturally aspirated engine with throttle bodies + that it has variable valve timing.
Now here we are in 2021 and the US market in these cars is taking off. I have a 96 and a 98.
I just gave both of them the once over struts brakes rust work etc.
That’s great to hear! Well it’s nice not having them become burnt out like the Honda scene but hopefully exposure gives us more aftermarket support!
I miss my 90 Corolla SR-5, I made it look like a GT-S style (as the only mod I did). These were great cars to maintain & super reliable. These models were sporty looking too, low hood, flip up lights, etc. Why the heck did I ever sell that?!
You really can't beat a raspy twin cam. Reminds me of watching amateur rally with my dad back in the day. So many Escorts and Corollas.
Nice sleeper setup
this car is literally my dream daily driver lol
Got a 97 Corolla CE 1.6L 4A-FE engine.
No mods on this level, was my first car and two sisters have since owned it and still going strong.
I like this bodystyle as well, have the last model year for it and really glad with my choice.
The current 11th generation and 10th generation both have 1.8L engine that generates only 132hp. IT now comes with a CVT transmission
TRINInDC I had that engine in an old Toyota 97 Carina e. 1.6 4AFE - One of the best most bulletproof engines ever made.
What I like he's didn't put awful body kit and wing so congrats on keeping the body as stock as possible.
I’m from Jamaica my uncle got a Toyota sprinter with levin 6 speed boy 0 to a 100 real quick
Have one of these & it runs like the day it left the factory , regularly run it 100 m.p.h up rt 287 .The drivetrain in these corollas are extremely reliable.
Good build.. In the future Your son and his son will be able to drive this car.....corolla's live forever
That rolla is the rival of Civics here in Philippines..
Same in Puerto Rico we love these
Gabby Ortiz pr loves Corolla’s and civics
Holy moly! That car is dope!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Nice setup! Very clean! I was hoping he mentioned the numbers he was making, nonetheless I love it!
170hp 125tq
It actually looks good, clean and it's not a rice Civic. Great job.
it sounds EXACTLY like Takumi's Eight-Six in the first clip (after the race engine swap)
That is a clean Corolla. Good job.
Scotty I live in Jamaica and I have one it 92 and ink but these cars are strong as $@%$
That car was a hit back then, and still very popular outside the US like you said. Keep it looking as original as possible, imo. Very nice.
Bryan that's a really nice job!
I hope you'll continue into braking system and suspension upgrades to keep up with that lovely engine.
Very nice!
Riverdeepnwide KW coilovers, Whiteline Racing subframe connectors, ES300 rear brakes etc etc not seen on video😉
Bryan you're building the kind of sleeper I like to drive. Job well done!
I own this model and am apart of this club he talked about! Very strong and very popular model toyota ever built i believe... And like he said it's very tunable from the engine to body parts.... Am from Saint lucia btw we worship these models also my colleagues in the Philippines and parkistan...👌💪
That's no secret. Every Corolla owner knows about that engine.
Thats a badass corolla man. Finally something different
That Toyota is fricken awesome. Super nice.
Dude did his research, they are in fact popular in the Caribbean. These 90s model Corollas still fetch a decent price here in Jamaica and they are a favorite among taxi drivers.
Morning scotty
morning!
I bet Scotty loves Toyota more now.
