The amount of pain this song gives me is insane. The fact that it makes me feel comfortable at the same time makes it all more compelling to have on loop for hours.

See I can't help but compare this to the annapantsu ver. And goddamn both are masterpieces. Both bring out a unique set of emotions when listening. Anna's is more so the feeling of relief after a gruelling journey filled with sacrfice. Reinaeiry's is the most bittersweet emotional rollercoaster of a goodbye, burrowing deeper and deeper until the emotion in her voice is the only thing you can feel. It's almost like she's trying to convince herself when she says "good riddance". Absolute 10/10 masterpiece wow
I feel like anna's is eurydice, relief and free from this world, while Reinaeriy's is Orpheus, trapped and mournful of her love

This is one of my favorite songs from any game and, as expected, you nailed this performance. Easily one of my favorite covers

So... the artwork for Immortal is actually from a specific scene, then. My speculation had been that either
1) Victoria just started crying while spending an ordinary day with Camille's former life because she had been so happy but then remembered the fleetingness of their time together, or
2) the hand was the memory of her.
It makes sense that the image for Immortal is from a death scene.

Hades is in my top 5 favorite video games in the entire history of my life, so this song made me so happy to hear. It makes a lot of people sad, but the song makes me think of sentimental memories and new begginnings with the people you love. It's like hearing a message saying that eventually it will be ok. The story of Orpheus and Eurydice is one of my favs!

I've loved the original singer of this since she did her song in Bastion, Build That Wall as well as its ending theme. You capture this haunting melody so well and it genuinely feels like a mourning lover is singing this.

I can't believe this video came out just as I started playing Hades fir the first time and I didn't notice for over a week because I was to busy playing Hades for 16 hours a day.
I love it so much! It's pretty emotional and amazing and why has my week been so hard. I've read a book and it had a sad ending, then I saw a random movie; sad ending, and then this song and it ends the same way with someone who got either shot, injured, killed, or even had an infection in tbe abdomen 😂.

So the timeline in my head for the story I’m trying to write for these two is a bit wonky but I can sort of sum up from the songs in the middle:
Breakfast-can is sorta hypnotised by Victoria and ends up spending the night with her (consensually of course) turns out vic gets addicted to cams Angel blood
Eat your young- vics mother/sire finds out that instead of killing her vic has fallen in love with cam and finds out about their relationship and goes to attack vic but can stops her and sends vic away but get mortally wounded
Left behind- vic finds cam after she escapes knows she can’t heal cam and knows it’s fatal, and the two reminisces about they’re relationship before cam dies and you hear Victoria scream no when she does
Immortal- it’s been a while since cam died but Victoria never forgets her and remembers all the times they spent together
