Agreed, that was my take, too. It made me think that they went through something serious and/or traumatic, and Ted's way of switching off from his true feelings/boundless optimism caused a rift. Her reaction here was almost a case of "Wow, he actually opened up to me".
Nate does have his own place, he doesn't live with his parents. Before Nate's roast in 1x7, when he's refusing to do it, Ted asks what's the worst that can happen. Nate says "That you won't like my idea and it makes you hate me. Then you fire me. Then I have to move back in with my parents and they'll be ashamed of me. Then everyone finds out back home and laughs at me until my face melts off."
I agree. She sees that he was able to tell her his real feelings even if it might hurt her without her saying "Oklahoma". I've watched this series so many times. I never notice Ted's loud sigh at the end until now. The way his shoulders relaxed after the sigh was telling.
The thing I always like to point out to reactors about Zorreau is that they won all those games with zava so that means that he had to have been doing a good job cuz you know he has to prevent people from scoring just as much as the team needs to score. The reason we only see his misses is because that's the only time there's really drama. Zorreau is actually a very good goalie but because it's a TV show, we only see the bad.
I think that last scene with ted and his exwife was really well acted Jason sudekis is really able to make you feel the emotions he portrayed with that conversation the relief was let out from him
Jason Sudeikis might've been feeling it on a personal level given the fact he went through almost exactly the same thing in his personal life, after what Olivia Wilde did to him... She starts filming with Harry Styles, she then leaves Jason in November of 2020 and starts dating Harry in January of 2021.
I think a nice little bit of redemption would be if Nate exposes Rupert's cheating to Bex. As a side note, can we all agree that the transition to seeing Nate huddled in the corner of the elevator was one of the creepiest things ever?? I thought we stepped into a horror movie for a second!
There's two types of people I have noticed reacting during Nate's ripping of the sign scene. One that laughs at Nate's falling of the chair and the one's that don't.
'slight disarray of sunshine' - LoL! 😃 Still rooting for them! ♥ Sassy Smurf! Gotta ♥ how Jade's always unimpressed 'and he falls' - good call! 😃 good commentary on Nate. Like how they made Bex have some sass too Are you guys psychic or something? 🤔 Van Damme - LoL! 😃 Ted was right! You tell 'em Rebecca! Way to go Ted!
this was so unfair from Roy and Beard. the players had no issue with Nate, no idea what happened between him and Ted. dumping this betrayal on them out of nowhere.... In the middle of the match ... So unfair to the players.
Y’all commenting on Nate being so close to Ted on the pitch, it’s pretty accurate to real life! Just a little closer for the show probably. Y’all should look up Tuchel & Conte’s post match handshake from this last season. Managers fighting is hilarious 😅
The pre- and post-match handshake is sacred. The English media absolutely would've made a big deal out of Nate's actions, even though you can tell by his reaction that it was unintentional.
This is completely random but you guys might enjoy "the eighth sense" it's a Korean drama but the cinematography feels more like a western indie movie it's a love story and it deals with topics like mental health quite well also!
My disdain for Nate is still firmly in place. I love the dynamic between Sassy and Ted. I also love the dynamic between Roy and Jamie. I enjoyed y’alls reactions and commentary as always.
I think people are being a little too hard on Michelle. Everyone sympathizes with Ted because we see his side of things. But we get nothing of Michelle's perspective. She started dating the doctor a year and a half after they stopped seeing him as clients, and after their divorce. It's not really fair to judge her without seeing her side of things. She tried her ass off to keep their marriage together, and now that it's over, she's doing the best she can just like Ted.
@jn4756 That's a fair point, though I don't know that I agree with it. It's a sticky situation, but Michelle has full autonomy. I'm not necessarily a fan of automatically stripping power from someone or assigning a level of victimhood to them.
Nate can't handle what? a woman who is taller than him? What am i supposed to do? i'm a woman and most men I liked were smaller than me my entire life. what, they can't 'handle me', like, Iove me,bcs i'm too tall ...? or i am too shallow to want them? then why was i longest in Iove in those who were not taller than me?
Yeah I don't find a single thing to laugh about with Nate struggling to rip down the sign. This show as a whole, and this season, consistently deals with the fact that hurt people, hurt people. Nathan DID have a reason to be upset with Ted. Though entirely unintentional, Ted did neglect and ignore Nate in season 2 and while Nate did have an ego the entire time, that was only inflamed by that rejection from his father figure. Seeing Nate struggle that way but persist shows how upset and how hurt he was. He wanted to lash out more than anything and nothing would get in the way of that. Season 2 didn't have a single one on one scene with Ted and Nate. He DID neglect Nate.

I think the smile from Michelle is more her being impressed that he's finally not acting like everything is ok.
Agreed, that was my take, too. It made me think that they went through something serious and/or traumatic, and Ted's way of switching off from his true feelings/boundless optimism caused a rift. Her reaction here was almost a case of "Wow, he actually opened up to me".
Exactly right.

I loved the smile Michelle gave. It’s obvious she still has feelings for Ted. She can she he’s growing emotionally.
I agree. She sees that he was able to tell her his real feelings even if it might hurt her without her saying "Oklahoma". I've watched this series so many times. I never notice Ted's loud sigh at the end until now. The way his shoulders relaxed after the sigh was telling.
I loved the comment, "He can't handle that!" LOL Nate with Anastacia is a lot like Colin with his Lambo -- too much to handle.
And a status symbol, and something that doesn't really represent him or suit him. That's actually a really good parallel you spotted!
The thing I always like to point out to reactors about Zorreau is that they won all those games with zava so that means that he had to have been doing a good job cuz you know he has to prevent people from scoring just as much as the team needs to score. No, we see a lot of good work from him too.
I think that last scene with ted and his exwife was really well acted Jason sudekis is really able to make you feel the emotions he portrayed with that conversation the relief was let out from him
He really deserved each of the Emmy’s he has won. I am rooting for him to win again this year

I love Beards face whenever he’s upset 😠😂… and I need to see someone punch Dr. Jacobs in the face!

Haha I was too busy laughing to be scared but yeah you’re right 😂
There's two types of people I have noticed reacting during Nate's ripping of the sign scene. One that laughs at Nate's falling of the chair and the one's that don't.
i haven't laughed, i felt terribIe.
That’s genuinely how close the managers are on the touch line. They have a box they’re supposed to stay inside just either side of the halfway line
'slight disarray of sunshine' - LoL! 😃 Still rooting for them! ♥ Sassy Smurf! Gotta ♥ how Jade's always unimpressed

the players had no issue with Nate?
Perfect timing to watch while I eat my soup dumplings!
The best ending would be Ted and Michelle getting back together, and Roy flying to KC and beating Dr Jacob to a pulp.

@@h2ohydroxIt would be headline news.
Didn't the psychic say Rebecca would have a family, not that she would have a child? Big difference and leaves a lot open to interpretation.
She said that she would be a mother. Of course that covers a number of different scenarios as well
She said: You will have a family. You will be a mother.
Thanks, Zuff! Thanks, Rob! Thanks, Bryce! 🥅 #ReelTime #DestinyEkaragha #TedLasso
I honestly don't want to win his wife back. They broke up because she didn't love him anymore and that is an issue npt really fixable.
She only left because he gave her a reassurance that he’d be ok.

Rob-what’s the key ring on your mic?
If you want to see a hardcore workout look up Jerry Rice in his prime.
Nate does not live with his parents lol
The closing song--Don't Think Twice It's All Right--doesn't bode well for Ted and Michelle getting back together, but who knows?
My disdain for Nate is still firmly in place. I love the dynamic between Sassy and Ted. I also love the dynamic between Roy and Jamie. I enjoyed y’alls reactions and commentary as always.

However Nate isn’t a child. Neglect is wrong. Ted had issues breakdown of his marriage, distancing relationship with his son, his mental health.
@@fayesouthall6604 Exactly. Ted might have neglected Nate, but he isn't his father and Nate is a grown adult.
so weird that you laughed when Nate fell of the chair - not even TheLexiCrowd laughed....
Nate cannot handle "that"? by "that" you mean a human being?
Have to switch off. Disparity in volume between you and the show is too much. Not usually the case
I think Jamie is the worst character....followed by Nathan and then Rupert.
Bruh
Bros stuck in season 1

Wow there are so many worse characters: Derek for example, Rebecca's mother, bex, Jack I could go on...poor selection amigo!!!
@@user-cx1sx9wp5r less developed as a character, less interesting aspects....
