What is the point? It's 2 different people, so it is clear that their voices will have their own strengths and weaknesses. You can't expect someone that sings different genres of music to have the same voice! Their belt won't be the same lol. Amy Lee will always be my favourite singer for her versatality and her style. 2:03 -> this is one of my favourite songs: Never Go Back (english is not my first language)
Anette has released excellent albums with 7 different bands this century,she's phenomenal...I think of Amy in a much different manner but I don't know what the point of this was,it isn't flattering at all for her.

From the F5 onwards, Anette has more power and colour than Amy Lee, for a simple reason: Anette is a soprano and Amy Lee is a mezzo-soprano. Amy Lee's F#5 is difficult for her and Anette is as if nothing had happened, the same goes for G#5... both are very good but they are different ranges........For those who say that Anette is not good live, Anette sang non-stop in many concerts, especially on the DDP tour, that was one of the reasons that Tuomas and Tarja clashed, the number of concerts they wanted to sing and those who could, Tarja, taking care of her voice, refused, Anette, who was the new one, accepted and that was the result of many terrible performances, but when her voice was rested it was spectacular.
@@larrylindgren9484 Oh yes. Listen to The Escapist or To Whatever End and ask yourself if Amy can belt like that. The question isnt which singer do you prefer, but which one is the better belter. They are not even in the same class when it comes to belting in chest voice.

Comparing her to Olzon is utterly ridiculous...pregnant,toured to death,kidney stone suffering,ill Anette from June - Sept.2012 was still capable of belting that made Lee sound like Roger Waters LMAO
