So beautiful out there!! 🥾🥾😎
Stay safe really enjoying your pct adventure
I love seeing your enthusiasm! Very obvious you truly enjoy hiking.
Your moving good with one pole
Hot springs looked cool.
Wow them hot springs were awesome loved all the little rivers and creeks, glad you got away from all those bees
Thank you!
Best part of the day - a new Frozen video. Sad part of the day - end of the Frozen video. A sweet good bye to the hiking pole. Any bee stings? Yay for Big Foot's pinky. Appreciate watching you cross the freezing river knowing you have to go back again to retrieve the camera. You seem to be making great time at 300 already! Okay, ready for the next video. No pressure though. 😀👍
Those hot springs sure looked inviting! Watch out for those bees!
Great hike!
Great video.
That is not Baden Powel, I believe that is Mt San Antonio. Baden Powell is behind that and not visible from where you were. Hwy 2 is not open. I hope you do hike the mountain and not road walk. Several hikers I'm following hiked it with no major problems.
thanks for clarifying about the mtn. kinda messed things up 2 being closed at vincent gap there
I took a break at that same spot below the bridge. It's a great spot for a rest and to dip your toes. Thanks for another great video.
Hope Bigfoots toe heals up. I am sure you will never lose a pole again. The views are beautiful 🌻
Every time I see you with your Hood on I think of Monty Python and the Holy Grail 🇬🇧
Earlier when you mentioned the problem Bigfoot was having with his shoe, i was thinking he should cut the shoe. Im really enjoying these videos of the PCT. watching from western Pennsylvania mountains
Oh my … you certainly did get WET! Your attitude stayed positive and that made it a little easier to watch! I’m super happy you’re finally taking a zero! I hope you can find some new shoes! 🙏🙏🙏
Looks like a great hike so far Frozen. Good luck and have fun.
awesome days on the PCT! too bad about the pole but the other crossing sure looked nice... deer, big lizard and Big views got to love it thanks for taking us along
Hiking quite a hike there, given a two week video release window, welcome back to the hills (shout out from Morgantown), and hope you got a new set of poles. Congrats on passing 300. Hope Bigfoot is doing well 🙏🙏🙏.
You're doing great brother. Your channel is the only channel that has me hooked this season!
What a beautiful silent landscape
im not sure why but this has been one of my favorite episodes yet. love the work you are doing, keep it up!
Hey Jason, at 4:30 those hills look like the opening shots of the TV series M.A.S.H.
Let me rephrase,6:17
I Totally agree. Looks like the M.A.S.H. show area. Good call!
Surprised you haven't done any cowboy camping yet, seems like all the rage in the desert
Sleeping by a stream vs sleeping under a freeway overpass. I can’t imagine which was more relaxing.
Good vibes video!
Really enjoying your videos, the views, your enthusiasm and the good decisions you are making, like listening to your body! Wondering what you are doing with your food bag at night during this section? Be well!
I'd never take the time to do a whole trail, but I do like the weekend and 3-4 day hikes. I live not far from you so it's cool to see some familiar trails. I watched every episode of your AT hike and I'm here for this one too. Thanks for letting us live vicariously through your adventures.
Contracts on the channel growth too. Great content too. Hope it all works out for ya man.
Another good video … I liked the music section 😊
Looks like you had the whole place to the 2 of you. If so, first time I've ever seen that in a vlog!
I'm not gonna run. You can follow me there should be a vortex.😂😂 I'm still laughing 😂. Keep up the good vibes dude. Best stuff is coming soon.
I am quite impressed by how quickly you are putting out your super vids. I think on the AT it was once a week. Sure would like to know how you got by the bees.
We walked far apart and very quickly with heads down. AT videos were every 2 days as well.
@@FrozensAdventures Amazing. Have a great time with your family!
“BURGERS”
😂
Could you please show us how you choose a camp site and your set up process? Thank you!
14:52
Not the bees!
How crazy would it have been if you came across your pole in the stream. That shot eating breakfast under the moon was pretty cool.
If it was me in that hot springs, you’d have to drag me out. You are stronger willed than me Jason 😁
The one poled hiker,😁
Consider showing us a map of where you travel. I looked up Mount Baden-Powell and got a feel for where you will soon be. Enjoying the vids.
Okay, so were they bees? How did you get through them? Also it seems like there are a lot more people from overseas walking the PCT then the AT?
Yes it seems so. Ive met a lot of people from other countries.
Remember when Feral hiked the PCT last year and one of those giant pine cones went through his tent and hit his head. He’s okay, cones nicknamed widow makers. Be careful.
Wow, it's just so beautiful! So different from the East and good ole PA! I hope someday to hike along the PCT. I have two questions. First, tell us about your sun hoody. I love that it has a snap on the hood. What a great idea! Second, how is it going with food storage? It doesn't look like you are using a bear canister right now. At what point will you need that? Thanks Frozen!
He said his hoodie is an REI Sahara. I have the same one, and it doesn’t come with the snap. Must be something he added.
Really enjoying your videos, question:estimate of how may meters of water are you drinking be day? Keep on heading north !
Way to face your bee fear bud!
Hoping neither of you got bee stings! 👍
Cranking out the miles! Been meaning to ask you where about you're from in PA? ALL my in-laws are from Clarion County. -Sean
When I got to the hot springs in '21, there was a dead guy, local, that had OD'd on something. He was in a body bag and the helo was there to pick him up. Oh well.
Wow
Awesome videos! By the way, the mountain you are seeing is Mt. San Antonio (aka Mt. Baldy), not Mt. Baden Powell.
Funny. It’s exactly 9:30a when you just said the time
That is a Coulter Pinecone.
Those yellow jackets are exactly why I’m taking allergy shots for bees, hornets and wasps so I don’t die when I’m out backpacking here in New England. Half joking🤣 Half not😬.
I’m guessing that giant sleeps on a angle in that duplex
Yes he does lol
How’s the wildlife so far??
🍔
My son is hiking the PCT right now and is nearby just leaving Cajon Pass this morning (Monday May 13). Does anyone know if these vids are on a delay? I assume Frozen is uploading and someone back home is editing and posting. Just wanted to give my son a heads up to look for you guys as I assume he is behind your actual progress. BTW - excellent vids and nicely presented.
I'm on a 2 week delay but I am editing and posting myself. My wife is helping with the descriptions, reducing ads, and other small things that are a pain out here.
@@FrozensAdventures That's a lot to take on while on the trail! Thanks for the reply and safe travels!
How are the new in soles feeling?
Frozen to shirtless lol
Sure word has spread on the trail but they just found two hikers who died on Mt Whitney.
Oh hell no. Please no.
@@chriskelly6559 Wondering what word on the trail is? Didn't say they were thruhikers or how they died. Bodies are recovered though.
I guess they weren’t thru hiking. It sounds like an attempted ski/snowboard descent from the “Notch”?
Oh my, what a loss. May God be with them and their families at this time of loss.
@@Ryan-yi5ro they were not thru hikers. going up whitney from PCT is much easier. also they took crazy risks, and that is me trying to be nice about them.
I know there is a 2-week delay on these videos, but should he be going into a spring with an open wound?
I would think with flowing water, not much will be in there. Also it is a bit warm, so kills a lot of little guys too
@@MoonLiteNite Who knows with all that sperm build-up over the years.
@@MoonLiteNite Who knows what has manifested from all that baby gravy in the water.
@@user-ei1ym1lq6h generally we are more concerned about things the other way around, could he contaminate the pool/ maybe. definitely not the best practice. as long as the water was flowing out and he is not terribly infected it should be ok BUT / this is how staph closes hot springs....
BTW, the overlay of bird songs aren't fooling. No need.
Any nature sounds are in the video clips. There's a lot of birds out here not as much as the AT mind you but still. Also do you really think I have the time to edit that shit in.
Why do you have to walk? Search it up fast paced. You don't even take the time to enjoy the beauty.
It's not a race !
I'm enjoying the beauty. If you would like to come out here and hike it and enjoy it how you feel you would enjoy it then do so. But for goodness sakes these comments get extremely annoying. Everyone hikes at different speeds. I'm also on a timeframe of needing to be back to help my wife and return to my job on September 1.
