I am amazed that there is that much snow this time of the year. There has been such beautiful scenery this whole hike. Much more varied scenery than on the AT.
It's awesome that you found a great partner to share your journey with. I can't imagine this friendship ending at the Canadian border. Glad you got feeling better. Are you taking any kind of electrolyte replacements? I'm a trail runner and some of the symptoms you have; particularly the fatigue and "disconnected" feeling point to a lack there.

For stomach issues I carried mint tablets and bitters extract drops. The bitters really helps the nausea . The swimming hole at Sierra City is awesome. It’s below the Rv park.

Absolutely beautiful scenery!
The view from those ridges on the way to Sierra City are amazing. I remember them from when I hiked them back in 2018. I went through July 5th and there was no snow except one random patch. The free beer at Donnor Ski Ranch was nice. I had dinner there after resupplying. Thanks for another video!
You rock! Last year, I sectioned hiked from Bucks Summit to Donner Pass. I was hunkered down in Sierra City as the storm that flooded burning man dumped inches of rain on us. I can't wait for your next video to see what it looks like without the rain.

After watching this one I got to thinking has any long trail hiker done day one - day finished body change vid so we can see changes over all of what hiking a long trail does.

Hope your down day went good and got you prepped to move and decrease the 1450 miles roughly, left to go.
With you uploading the vids 2 weeks late, I can only imagine you by now, are past Lassen NP. I was there (driving wise) last SEP and I was amazed at the fire damage from the Dixie fire. The miles clicking off per day should be getting you closer to the state line as well. Keep stretching and listening to your body and before you know it, you will be at the US/CAN border. Just wish I was there too but who knows what next year will bring. Also, I am concerned for you two as well as the others as I heat the Temp's out in that area are in the 100's already. Stay safe and keep the eyes/ears open - good luck !
