Sorry to hear that both of you are having some difficult MH days. Tell Bigfoot to do as they do on the Appalachian Trail to "embrace the suck" as sometimes there is just nothing you can do but push on until you get that breakthrough. I am happy he has you as a positive sounding board when he is having those difficult moments and can help pull him through. Yall are doing a great job and keep on keeping on!
Your morning camp scenes are great.
Just keep walking - better days ahead 🐻🌲
You guys are cranking out the miles! You work well together, keep encourage each other. You need a pair of cheap aqua (Kayak) shoes! I spent 6 years as an Army paratrooper, you're not in the military, keep your shoes and socks dry!! Take your boots and socks off before water crossings. Don't be a causality of your own doing. Be save and continue to drive on! -Sean
Yep the views have been spectacular these last two videos. So glad y’all have a group to do this next part with. Take care everyone and you’ve got this Bigfoot!!
You and Bigfoot are a great team. I hope that he hangs in there with you! Thank you for sharing your adventure with us!
Mountains are so beautiful, it really changed my life hiking in the Canadain Rockies.
Enjoying your detailed videos. Relieving the anxiety I had built up about doing the PCT solo next year!
Be well great hike
I've been enjoying watching your journey from half way across the Pacific Ocean. The PCT remains a dream for me... so thanks for giving me a glimpse
At 10k feet in altitude O2 saturation is about 80% . in addition to the heavy pack that could definitely hake it a little harder to breath !
That is wildly beautiful country
I love following your journey! It's such a representation of freedom! Thank you for sharing!
Was really cool to see that you hiked right through Mulkey pass. I was there on June 13th and 16th. I stopped there to rest on the way in and the way out. Ate lunch on the big log just past the signs there. Lot of the snow that you hiked through was gone just a few days later when I was there.. I’ll always remember that trip.
sounds like you were pretty "Frozen" glad you got past it/ Mt Whitney is also an end of the JMT so hopefully you come back and do it// it is mostly just about being on the highest peak in the lower 48// probably was more trouble than it was worth with snow. looks like the creek crossing was the right amount of exciting without being too dangerous and man those views!! so happy you are out there. Ill assume Bigfoot made it ok, going to watch another episode now and find out/ thanks for sharing
Days 43 & 44. So far, these provide the most beautiful visuals. Eg. 17:07
I can't imagine having to film that river crossing. It meant, knowing you since about your channel's inception, you probably crossed that river 3 times. . .
Once to set the camera, then to cross over to the beginning, and a final crossing for film!
Way to go Jason and Bigfoot!
Thanks for always talking about the mental side of being on the trail. Hope you (and the folks you're with) are getting some nice high days to make up for the low ones.
Hey there Frozen! I just wanted to say thank you thank you for showing the beauty of this place! I’m from California and did some trips in Yosemite national park. Beautiful piece of our country! Now we live in New England. I gotta say YOU ARE DOING AMAZING with the altitude and snow. I REALLY hope Bigfoot is able to soldier on. He seems like a really cool dude! WOOOO BUDDY!!! You’re getting closer to some hammock trees!!😃👍🏼. Shug is watching this thinkin “when the heck is he gonna make the switch!😁”
I really love your attitude about Whitney. You go over plenty of peaks on the trail anyway. Plus…. It’s not like you’re short on views😃.
Take care you guys and be safe.
NQU
Those river crossings are no joke. Beautiful views 👣🌻
Oh man that emotion rung a bell with me. Last time I felt that was on the west rim trail after hiking in a thunderstorm getting rained on all day then seeing the view from balbour rock with the clouds snaking below us in the valley…
Absolutely fantastical beauty. You are a trooper. Creek crossings no joke just take it day by day and you will successful
Great scenery.
Awesome video. Thanks for sharing. Like 👍617
You guys are ROCKING this!!! I’m enjoying following along!!!
That bear canister looks heavy!! You and Bigfoot are doing an amazing job, hope he gets the gear issues solved.
For me, Whitney has always been a let down due to the number of people up there with their cell phones picking up service from Lone Pine. They have to share with all their friends back home. Keep the outside world, outside.
It also can be a hard hike to complete the last 1000 feet as it’s a new height over the other trail you’ve been on.
Frozen - keep going. Followed you since ACT and looking forward to seeing you finish the PCT.
I noticed in episode 21 that your hip belts were not secured during the stream crossing, then I remembered a story I read about a young lady drowning as a result of a secured hip belt. She was a very petite young lady hiking alone, slipped and unable to slip out of her pack.
Could you please talk about the dangers of water crossings in one of your videos. I'm sure the info would be helpful to some hikers. Thanks for all that you do for the hiking environment!
Louis S from NJ
Sure looks beautiful and remote! Enjoying watching your trek!
Thank you... from a fellow SW PA follower!
Thanks for the nice video
I feel ya. When I was on Kearsarge pass, the scenery is absolutely breathtaking. Love that area as well as the Ansel Adams wilderness. Amazing places to experience that so many have never seen.
Sometimes it's good to leave a lil' meat on the bone - good, come back and do Whitney with the JMT some time. Maybe with your kiddo. Thanks For The great series.
Type 2 fun! Thank you for taking us on the journey.
Thanks for taking us along. Beautiful
Keep working hard my friend
This is going to sound silly and I don’t normally say such things but since I am a middle aged gal from western PA and a longtime fan who’s not likely to ever hike the PCT,well I am cheering for you and Bigfoot! I am sending you both big mom sized hugs!! You can do it!!
Again I have to say the clarity of your videos are amazing
Enjoying your vlogs. It is so beautiful.
Awesome videos beautiful area you’re doing amazing job. God bless and be safe. Just beautiful sites to see.
Sierras definitely look beautiful, it definitely must be cold after the water crossings and the cold keep on trucking on!
Keep going bro.
Excellent video in the Sierras. I also passed on doing Whitney in 2018 when I did the JMT. No regrets. 👍👍
Hey what ive always done with the bear can is keep my food in my food bag while hiking just like i normally would and put some clothes in the bear can to make room in my pack if needed then after dinner I put all my food and consumables in the bear can for over night after breakfast food bag gets packed as usual empty bear can with clothes if I need room strapped to my pack. Bear cans are easy to carry when they're not loaded with 20+lbs of food.
Such beautiful views! Take care of yourself and have fun.
You have endures some tough times for sure. Having Bigfoot and now a couple others to hike with is real blessing. Stay strong, stay safe, rock on Frozen!!
You guys are doing great! Are you really not sponsored by LMNT? Lol, thought everyone on YT was. They are missing the boat with you. Great hike, great videos. Thank you so much for your efforts in order to share!!!
No.. they won't get back to me. But I love em.
Just embrace the suck!!! You guys got this
Great view like alway ❤ keep it up guys Sending more positive vibes for both of y. All tell Bigfoot, keep going. Keep pushin he got this. How many more miles to go until the end? Just curious stay strong stay safe
Watching you and Bigfoot hike is like when I hike with my buddy. He's 6'6" and I'm 5'8" so I can hear how many step you take while watching him take so many less 😂 Great views, great videos, great work 🎉
Great Job Frozen and Big the foot !!!🤟🏽🤟🏽
Great video!
Go!
Is there a difference in the taste of the water from desert to mountains? Probably colder for sure. Just wondering.
This is so great being there with you but not really being there. Your doing amazing 🤩
Will you try and get a permit for half dome? I know this isn’t part of the PCT, but I know it’s a popular add on. Good job and keep it up!
I'm so nervous. I hope you survived 😀
breaking camp sucks. i can never get the timing right. i’d love to see a timelapse of your process
Bro! Those socks! hahah
Even this vid happened 7-8 days ago roughly, it's too bad you didn't have diver booties with you so at the least, 1) to allow you to cross those water crossings in something else than you shoes which in turn 2) would allowed you to have at the least, drier feet at the day's end. Getting your legs warmer would be easier than the feet especially when walking in water soaked shoes. If nothing else, food for thought for future endeavors. I hope that wherever you are presently on 7 Jun, the trip has gone good so far and for now, you are past the big obstacles, to date. I know, there are more ahead - be careful !
Come on @DrinkLMNT, this is what your product was made for! Adventure!
Nice job Frozen! How are you liking that pack?
Good so far but the material has had some weird abrasion issues. You will see in a few days.
How many hikers were you at the river crossing, four or five?
6:31 This doesn’t even look real!! Who painted this? 🦑
What’s Frozen’s favorite flavor of LMNT?
Watermelon is pretty good!
Just found your videos. Been following Roadrunner and her tramily and wondering if you’ve run into them yet. Don’t think they’re much ahead although not sure of her/their delay in postings.
I met them at Grumpys. Took a pic with her too!
Uhh, Dixie did Mt. Whitney.
So what? I’m 65 and did it six times.

Congratulations! I'm just busting his onions.
You guys are ROCKING this!!! I’m enjoying following along!!!
