    Good choices, but I would still be looking to get the handle bars further up and also a bigger fuel tank. What happened to air cooled engines, yes I know the engine is better running at an even temperature, But it was easier and no radiators to worry about.
    I like that rear gear rack system, not only a=carries everything, but acts as lifting handles! Brilliant. Excellent content.
    Do your knobbly tyres hold up well on the paved road as this can be a problem with the knobbles cracking at the base of the tread?

    • @Crittermoto
      @Crittermoto  4 роки тому +1

      bob fourjs Hey Bob. Thanks for watching and the comment/question. I agree with the tank. It’s bigger but not quite big enough and that’s why I’m looking into adding a Giant Loop gas bag. To be honest, I noticed no cracking on the first set of knobbies I just swapped out. That was the set that took me down the Oregan coast n back. They performed pretty well on dry and wet pavement. They are noisy but that doesn’t bother me.

    Quick question on the bigger gas tank. Was it an easy installation, everything line up? Did you have to leave any OEM parts off to make it fit? Thank you for your videos!

    • @Crittermoto
      @Crittermoto  2 роки тому +1

      Quick answer on the bigger gas tank:
      Installation was easy. For the most part it was “plug-n-play”. I did have to swap the right spacer with the left and vise versa. So if someone where to look real hard you can tell the tank is slightly off center to the right by about 1/8”. Other than that, for me, one of the best mods I could of done as I am constantly riding 250-300kms.

      Ian Pirrie hey there. No I have not. This is the FMF Q4 slip on exhaust. I’ve left everything else stock. Haven’t had any issues. May look into an EJK in the future, but honestly from what I’ve read and researched my biggest gain would be changing the sprockets to 13/42. I’ve yet to that.

      @disapirrie658 4 роки тому +1

      Critter_moto I’m still on the fence with the ejk and fmf swap. I did replace the spark arrestor with a lexx quite core. Sounds much better.
