    This bike reminds me so much of my 1987 xl250r. It even sounds just like it. That bike was bullit proof. Best bike I ever owned hands down.

    TMF, so I'm wondering does the EJK thing actually do anything above and beyond what the fuel injection does on the bike already? So the efi module must already measure air flow. Does the EJK just give you some 'tuning' presets in case you want more low end oomph? or better motorway economy? If you were to disable it now would you be able to tell the difference?

    Hi, Great vids etc etc well done, but didn't see any follow up on the mods that you have been doing, for example $1000 for fmf exhaust and say $50 for the air box mod for a 3% power increase overall and 10% fuel decrease, well I simply wouldn't spend that much for such minimal results but if it was a 30% increase it might be justified. Could you give some sort of 'Performance Rating' to the mods that you have done so as to indicate weather they were doing or not!.... Cheers...Rick.

    • @TheMissendenFlyer
      @TheMissendenFlyer  5 років тому

      If it's extra performance you want then the FMF is the one that makes all the difference - bike is noticeably quicker with the FMF...the rest a bit "meh"

    Do you know if the 2020 CRF250L ABS is dual / twin spark? Do you have any input on: " For the 2020 CRF250L : Does the 305cc Big Bore kit work better with a FMF Q4 & Megabomb or not? Is you bike post 2017? Do you know if the 2020 is dual spark? Do you know of anyone that has dyno'ed the stock CRF250L (post 2017) and with the 305cc Big Bore and FMF Q4 & Megabomb and 14T/40T stock gearing? Does the 13T and/or 42T sprockets / rear tire size affect the dyno readings? Does the EJK for the 305cc BBK improve only by them selves or when exhaust mods are made?"

    Hi there, would this mod be bad for the bike with standard exhaust and no EJK?

    • @TheMissendenFlyer

      TwoWheelTorque EJK is the way to go long term, but short term I don't think this will do any harm, I'd go for it (a good cheap mod) - I've also since removed the spark screen, another low cost mod......enjoy and ride safe! - TMF

    HI M8, would it not be better to leave the holes as they are, as the filters you fitted could restrict the airflow..
    nice bike i am thinking of adding one to my stable ...

      +such is life Sure thing you could if you want to maximise airflow....just don't ride it on dusty tracks! Cheers - TMF

      TheMissendenFlyer thanks for the quick reply! and i have a small budget so what is the best afternarket exhaust slip on/system for the crf250l, that is not too expensive?

    • @TheMissendenFlyer
      @TheMissendenFlyer  7 років тому

      Well I only have experience of the FMF - and that can't be called cheap (but it is, in my opinion, the best!)

      Yes I have thought about that but am assuming it's there for a good reason (don't fancy my backside catching fire!!) - may go in due course......

    • @TheMissendenFlyer
      @TheMissendenFlyer  9 років тому

      I don't think so - the Honda is positively asthmatic out of the box needing all the help it can get, the big Beemer has no such lack of power (as far as I'm concerned). Besides it's one thing hacking about a £3.5K bike, quite another taking my drill to a £16K one!!

    • @beans4491
      @beans4491 9 років тому

      Think I'll leave the drill alone for the GS then, only joking lol. Great job there mate and would love to know how she responds when you do your test. As always great piece of tubery

      He's referring to a scientific rating of the filters, indicative of what size particles they will filter.

    • @richardn1329
      @richardn1329 7 років тому

      You're still using the larger filter inside the micron size isn't really a concern
