How to make srilankan curry powder measurement in comment section
for raw curry powder 6 tables spoons of coriander seeds, 3 tablespoons of cumin seeds and 11/2 tablespoons of sweet cumin seeds. grind all together until a fine powder and store in an airtight glass jar.
for roasted curry powder, u can use same 3 ingredients with same quantity but u have to add some curry leaves, red dry chili pods, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, mustard seed and pinch of fenugreek all roasted separately mix and finely grind. and store it in air tight glass jar. I also like to add some scraped coconut, white sesame seeds and some raw rice roasted and grind to it to give some flavor and also a thickness to the curry.
