Gotta love those customers who they think they know what is wrong and that it should be an easy fix for little money.

Nice fix and know it all customers are the worst sort,
But wait... there's more. 🤨We all know a blown fuse is rarely ALL that is wrong because fuses blow for a reason. Unfortunately, your customer didn't quite understand that, and if he knew so much why not fix it himself. I tell my customers there's a minimum fee whether I can fix it or not, plus parts. My diagnostics time has value. Easy repair, they just pay the minimum. Anything more than that, I'll tell them before I proceed & get their approval first. Nice repair!
if a customer says to me it's just a fuse issue, I give him a fuse, and I say if your device burns or explodes, don't come back to repair it
