Wow your workshop/store/website looks good! Really impressive stuff! Just a quick note though - your Pricing page isn't working. I have my OG XBOX which isn't working which I was thinking about asking you to fix is this something you do?
@@TheCod3r Just thought I'd mention it given the quality of the previous work done and your comments! Probably not worth your time/effort reusing discarded chips anyway even if it was good.

I worked on a PS4 pro two weeks ago where another repair shop stole the hard drive and tried to claim a no fix because of roaches. The thing you gotta remove five screws to swap the hard drive. I tole my customer to hang up the phone on their sorry asses after giving the repair shop three different tests. They failed all of them.

Good job friend. What would be the best position regarding cooling to keep the PS5, vertical or horizontal ?? I live in the northeast region of Brazil and here the temperatures are higher.
The music works where you put it. SIlent sections like that are perfect for it and adds a bit of pro touch. Also the seller gave you about 20 quid of free flux FFS. AMATEURS (That's how it's spelled) ;)
Cheers mate, I thought so too here. Haha whoops guess I'd better fix my typos, I was rushing to get this uploaded because it took longer than expected to edit lol
I don't really have much experience with PS5's as the demand for repair isn't there just yet in my area, probably have attempted 9 or 10 repairs thus far with a good success rate. I hate the liquid metal and never really rated it, my sons PS5 was an Ebay fixer upper and I am running it with Thermal Grizzly and there is no complaints for 4 months so far. Des anyone techs here opt to throw out Sonys liquid metal for customer machines in favour of high end paste?
Demand is definitely picking up mate. Another year and I think no power on PS5s will be the most common repair we see. That and liquid metal being spilled everywhere :( Fair play for buying a PS5 to repair for your kid! It saves money, keeps a console out of landfill and it's fulfilling knowing it's going to go to a good home once fixed
Yeah but liquid metal is better because of overheating that's why there using that and if u use thermal it will overheat because people have tried that before and failed
@@brianspellman4495 I'm using Thermal Grizzly in my sons PS5 without any issues. Sure it is top of the line paste and probably isn't as good as liquid metal, but it is keeping everything within tolerances as it is obviously running within the tolerances of the processors. I don't think I would use it on a customer machine because it isn't OEM. No dout Sony could have cooled the system better in the first place, but I expect it is something to do with wanting to keep the machine as silent as possible.

How long does it take on average for a repair man to do sophisticated repairs like this one ?
What is going on with these PS5
Is it user being clumsy
Or is there a fault that makes them break easily ?
