So, what you are trying to achieve is to make a curved and smooth surface, so that the rollers can go as high as possible in the variator ? And the tool you used is a dremel ?
@@MBPATENTS So I have seen your videos and many more from other people who tried to increase the performance of their scooters and I found out that the most efficient way is to either do what you did or cut the spot,where the bushing is, a bit more flat (only by some millimetres), in order for the variator and the half pulley come closer and push even more the belt to go higher. I hope you understood what I mean (I'm Greek but I write in English for others to understand).
Hi Purple 89 I have tried the triangular balls up to 125 with 1000 forces. Here I made the path of the balls bigger to push the narcissus inside and the outer plate what I rubbed until about 4/10 about

+Purple 89 If it is the same variator with the pcx, you do it in the same way, comfortably and easily, now I am 140 after 135 km, it shakes a lot, when I make the grips then I will upload one last video at 160 + !!!
@@MBPATENTS gabe newel I USED MIXED 10G AND 17G ROLLERS JUST NOW AND NOTHING AFTER UPGRADE OF THE VARIATOR WHICH I TOOK OFF A BIT OF METAL WITH A DRILL SET NOW IT CAN GO TO 80KM/H . FUK SHIT ADVICES YE ALL GIVE
I have a Honda PCX. Variators sizes differ you know. This works on PCX 150 cc. If you have something else and tried it and your variator is another size of course it may not work.
1 because the factory variator has better metal 2 can also go up to 142 km since I can do it better instead of getting another variator and I like the patents too!

Can you put a less wide belt to increase the speed too ? Too maximize what you are doing here ? Like 3 mm Les wide or so ?
Thats the hack mod. Thst u cn do .. he removing the factory restriction limit the roller to go all the way on top 👍

You could never get this accurate doing it like that it would need machining properly , that would vibrate like hell and probably sod the bearing up .
It's been modified 4 years now and it's still awesome!
