@@adriandiw I would check the condition of the CVT belt itself. Hi jayja what you have done with the balls from pcx 1160 is very clever!! simply, the heavier the ball is, it has more economy, here I am, four, what role do balls play in economy and acceleration, first of all, if you want to have more acceleration, you have to remove the stops, you have to put three balls, one on a bench 10 20 and the other if 21 so that the variator opens a little more, the pcx generally has room to reach up to 160 as the engine and its transmission are but it is good that everything does not work. marginally up to 140 is fine I think. Thank you very much!!!
In my experience things is different for different scooters and conditions and rider style. I ride Kymco 250 and both the bike with heavier then the original /6x20g stock, 24 on the bike/ and the bike was unrideble in the city. The rpms get so low after acceleration that the bike had no more to give. I machined the rollers insides on my lathe on steps and find out that the 18 grams was perfect. Then I found 17.5 new ones and I am perfectly happy with them. The fueling is better.. 4-4.1 l/100 km with the 24g. and 3.4-3.7 with the 17.5g ... That 24g just needed too much throttle to keep it mid gearing or to accelerate at all.
My Ghina GY6 which is a 200cc (Supposedly) but on the badge reads 168cc with 12 grams is my sweet spot, i can go 85 miles (Aggressive throttle) and i can reach about 100 miles if i coast it like if im going for economy on a full tank that cost me $4 to fill up. But here I test the balls Depending on how heavy they are, what is the economy, how does the engine start, does it take a long time, what beers to put in if the other person wants it for trips, did you get her to put this in, I explain here, no, acceleration has nothing to do with it, it's successful
Heavy = High Gear ration = low engine rev but fast Light = Low gear ratio = low speed high torque/acceleration If your body weight is heavy, go for lighter one
For my experienced: you can adjust the roller weight +/- 1g( compare with stock) for best result. Too light: lost max speed, lost power cause belt slip and vibrate. Too heavy: long time to get maxspeed but lost take off power. Maybe damaged clutch shoe because it engaged at high RPM!
How does lighter roller weights cause belt slip? Is it also possible that the clutch lining slips at high speeds? I went 3g below with each flyball and experiences hesitation on acceleration once speed goes beyond 80+ kph. What can be the cause?

scooters play a lot in consumption, that is, removing the stops and going from 110 140 kilometers per hour, this is a great rest for the engine, it burns less if it accelerates faster, again it burns less depending on what everyone wants to do
after rolls It's a little strange if you move around the city the 16 is fine for example the factory takes it if you're for travel you should put heavier if you're for playing games you should put lighter Depending on how much you weigh how much you need and what kind of work you do depending on what everyone wants to do
Hi! Thank you for your video. I have the Sh150i '22 and im now going to change the rollers with Pulley 16gr. I dont know the stock weight and i choose this because was the heavier for mine dimensions. Im driving on long roads at 90-100 what are you suggesting?

Hi arwinders if you are doing short distances in the city keep the 16 grams if you are traveling put the 19 grams from the pcx 1060 if you want to play games and you have uphill and you want a little more lean you are overweight over 9 kg put the balls 10 grams depending on case
Hi heriso o peso da bola não afeta as velocidades, o quanto ela agarra, mas afeta o variador e a centrífuga, se você remover as paradas do variador, a velocidade aumentará
+myplaguesify Unfortunately, these 2 do not go together if you put 16g and the 6 roller the scooter will have a good start, you will reach 100km much faster and the consumption will be higher. If you put 6 roller 22g it will be economical in consumption it will not have started well. Do not forget to subscribe. !! thanks
the engine and the transmission are the same depending on what you use it for, that is, if you want it for a long time, you are fine at 16 grams, if you are for travel, you should be heavier, if it is for games, put 10 grams
Yes, after 16gr you will see something But you will also need to put a harder spring back for the whole system to work correctly Thank you for your interest!!!

Καλησπέρα φίλε. Έχω ένα pcx 150 του '13. Έβαλα από μπίλιες , dr pulley 14gr (δεν θυμάμαι ο μάστορας τι μου είπε ότι ήταν οι προηγούμενες μπίλιες ) . Πολύ καλύτερη επιτάχυνση, αυξήθηκε 5km η τελική (από 115 σε 120 κοντερισια) , όμως η κατανάλωση αυξήθηκε κατά 0.3 , δηλαδή από 2.5 σε 2.8 . Μου είχε προτείνει ο μάστορας να βάλω μισές μισές μπίλιες (όπως εσύ με το 16/24) αλλά προτίμησα 14 dr επειδή πίστευα ότι εκτός επιτάχυνσης και τελικής θα έχω καλύτερη κατανάλωση. Δεδομένου ότι κάνω πολλά χιλιόμετρα και σε ταξίδι , αξίζει να βάλω πιο βαριές μπίλιες(πχ 22) ή ανάμεικτες (16/24) ώστε να κατεβάσω κατανάλωση;

Scooters engine can last up to 50k-60k KM (sometimes even longer) without needing major overhaul if maintained well, 24.000KM is pretty low I'd say, just make sure it's well maintained and no weird noises coming from the engine, check if there's any sign of oil leakage outside of the engine. Also sometimes at 20k-30k the crankshaft seal tends to go bad and start leaking oil into the CVT, this is caused by either overfilling the engine with oil exceeding its recommendation or lack of maintenance, it's a cheap part in itself but takes time and labor to replace thus making it slighty expensive.
you're right about the crankcase, but as for the Hi hafid engine for the pcx, it's close to 1 million kilometers and nothing has happened to me so far!!! there are many types of engines but why honda and suzuki last a lot💯
@@MBPATENTS 1.000.000km is a lot, do you mean 100.000km? In that case, yes, modern scooter engines can last that long if maintained properly, but not everyone knows how and when to maintain their bike, so 50k-60k is a fair assumption to me, especially since these scooters are commonly "abused" or maybe even used like a sport bike😅

video makes no sense. I too have this 150CC version. What is the referenced litters per 100Km? what is average speed?. I have 3rd party 13g rollers, with Yuminashi variator and stock belt, and screen shows average 2.1L per 100km going 80km/H, this value is when I reset while going 80km/H. Needless to say that fuel consumption reader has a % error, the bike uses more fuel than that. Video conclusions are junk because of used methodology, but the conceptual idea is good. My tank does 270kmh while too often going top speed on bike. I can reach 127kmh on speedometer downhill and 119kmh on flat road. By using its own fuel calculator I should reach 333km (it states 2,4L/100km), yet I dont get even close. I'm still subscribing to the channel :)
Hi testerpt5 Here I explain what consumption depending on the amount of grams is the roller, I see for myself how they work. The first screen reads the meter with how many km you run and calculates for you through a limit how much you will consume. the roller a month I experimented with it with this video when you try and you will understand what work each ball does. Let's say another theory you have a car that calculates how much consumption on the screen you go at 2 speeds with 2 thousand rpm if it shows you 3.7 per 100km / h and when you are at 5 speed with 2 thousand rpm the screen will show you again 3 , 7 what do you think will consume more in 2 i in 5? With your scooter it calculates based on the screen not with turns.
+testerpt5 Tell you what, I made this video, we are only talking about scooter, the ball (roller) is heavier than the factory roller 3roller 24 3roller 16g is for them to do many km work trips when the daily routine is with many kilometers consumption is very low the belt withstands the oils more, the engine works comfortably, it has a lot of good, the only bad thing does not start as it should !!! We all know how 16g rollers work. For 10g I have to give you the positives first, it becomes a crazy power scooter with other scooters up to 250cc, the pcx works like a beast !! Negatives I have broken centrifugal eyes 10g consumption is great tremble all plastics Stan at 15000mk I have cut straps and many but
I will post for you a video where I remove the speedometer step by step. I hope that my answers will be enough. I know you're a subscriber, thank you for the support!

Hi yashde do a test, lift the motorcycle in reverse, put the front at idle and see if you can hold on to the wheel with your hand, if you can't and the wheel moves, it has power at idle, it means that your pads are not the problem, first check the spring, what's going on you have changed the spring?
if the variandors when you start are a little closed, even half a point or a point, that means it can't start because it starts with a much bigger step, so look at the pariatori a little bit, if it's completely closed, if it's a little open, that means it starts from the heavy your problem

lighter pulley=faster acceleration=more fuel consumption=less miles travelled with full tank
correct in the kilometers, they have not done the weight from the balls, it has to do with the step and the variator.
no no just modify your engine and a good racing ecu will do the job anu size pulley will give you power and proper gear size will help the job done
But here I test the balls Depending on how heavy they are, what is the economy, how does the engine start, does it take a long time, what beers to put in if the other person wants it for trips, did you get her to put this in, I explain here, no, acceleration has nothing to do with it, it's successful
Buenísimo el vídeo, gracias
Hi Victor thanks!!!
Heavy = High Gear ration = low engine rev but fast
Light = Low gear ratio = low speed high torque/acceleration
If your body weight is heavy, go for lighter one
You are very right!!! 😉
What can be the cause?
here You're not telling us something right or you haven't done something right???
I would like you to test the higher rpm for contra spring/ center spring like 1000 or rpm with the same amount of grams .

scooters play a lot in consumption, that is, removing the stops and going from 110 140 kilometers per hour, this is a great rest for the engine, it burns less if it accelerates faster, again it burns less depending on what everyone wants to do

Μου είχε προτείνει ο μάστορας να βάλω μισές μισές μπίλιες (όπως εσύ με το 16/24) αλλά προτίμησα 14 dr επειδή πίστευα ότι εκτός επιτάχυνσης και τελικής θα έχω καλύτερη κατανάλωση. Δεδομένου ότι κάνω πολλά χιλιόμετρα και σε ταξίδι , αξίζει να βάλω πιο βαριές μπίλιες(πχ 22) ή ανάμεικτες (16/24) ώστε να κατεβάσω κατανάλωση;

Does any body have an idea how many kilometers this Moyer is good for in general, thinking about buying one with 24000 kilometers?
Scooters engine can last up to 50k-60k KM (sometimes even longer) without needing major overhaul if maintained well, 24.000KM is pretty low I'd say, just make sure it's well maintained and no weird noises coming from the engine, check if there's any sign of oil leakage outside of the engine.
Also sometimes at 20k-30k the crankshaft seal tends to go bad and start leaking oil into the CVT, this is caused by either overfilling the engine with oil exceeding its recommendation or lack of maintenance, it's a cheap part in itself but takes time and labor to replace thus making it slighty expensive.
you're right about the crankcase, but as for the Hi hafid engine for the pcx, it's close to 1 million kilometers and nothing has happened to me so far!!! there are many types of engines but why honda and suzuki last a lot💯
what brand is
@@MBPATENTS 1.000.000km is a lot, do you mean 100.000km?

Hi yashde do a test, lift the motorcycle in reverse, put the front at idle and see if you can hold on to the wheel with your hand, if you can't and the wheel moves, it has power at idle, it means that your pads are not the problem, first check the spring, what's going on you have changed the spring?
have you tampered with the variator recently?
if the variandors when you start are a little closed, even half a point or a point, that means it can't start because it starts with a much bigger step, so look at the pariatori a little bit, if it's completely closed, if it's a little open, that means it starts from the heavy your problem
