Ahn! I actually visualized the string during the bow change, it doesn't ever 'reverse' in any way when the bows direction does, so, the trick is to simply keep the string Vibrating without a hitch! As soon as I thought of the string simply, vibratiing, regardless of the bows direction, I truly got it. You have a good solid way of describing things and I Love that you are not afraid to bring Science into it!

This could also be how much weight you put in maybe out in more weight, or maybe your didn’t break in your rosin, or also try and not rosin you’re how too tight because you could also not make a sound.

It seems to me like the articulation at the bow change comes from the inevitable point where the bow speed reaches zero. If the same weight is applied when the weight is near zero as when it is up to the target speed there will be a momentary articulation. The brushstroke seems to lighten the forces going into the bow and string as the bow speed approaches zero. This needs testing and analysis at least

This is an important but poorly understood technique. Try holding the bow with your index finger and your thumb. Not the usual way to control the bow, but it illustrates how important the hand is in sustaining an uninterrupted tone wirh bow direction changes.

Wait why are your shoulders moving? Correct bow technique is moving your elbow not your shoulder. It allows a smoother bow and takes tension off your shoulders.
