Rock on! Really, thank you Mike but I am no master, just a guy who has dedicated his life to making self-learning cello easier for all. I appreciate your kindness and sincerity
LOVED your giggle at the end! You are really a great teacher. I am an older student and I always come back to all your videos. Thank you for sharing your gift!
Currently, this evening, I am in between my two University classes and saw the notification. Another excellent video. I will practice this after classes. Thank you!
Why did you have to move to France? I am French beginner in cello living in New York and what a pleasure to hear you calling the note by their name and not letters!!! You have great coaching skills and I take great pleasure in your classes! Continue d’apprendre le français! C’est génial!
Thanks for your explanation ✨, very useful ( I play violin...and started play cello just one month ago). I regularly see your videos ...always very interesting. Thanks u really. And thanks to speak french too 😊🎻. Merci et un bonjour d une française 😊. France Gros
Mr. Miyagi: "Or like a jab; your nuckles must take a straight path." Cello teacher: "Close Mr. Miyagi. Unfortunately that's bad advice. In a jab punch your supposed to turn your wrist durring the arm extension. Your thumb never faces up when holding the bow. Mr. Miyagi you stick with your martial arts." This made me chuckle, thank you
Merci !! :)
de rien
Why don't you turn your cello slightly while playing the A string, towards the bow. It lessens the tension on your right shoulder and arm.
I want to be your student🙏
