I bet you didn't hear about this story. Eleven people, including two children and a gunman, were killed in a mass shooting in Montenegro on Friday by a 34-year-old man with a hunting rifle.
Six others were injured.
The shooter was killed by a citizen (civilian).
The U.S. media didn't discuss this because they didn't want to empower people to use firearms to protect themselves.
Also, the government doesn't want citizens being empowered to deal with situations like this because it makes them useless.

A few years ago our local county sheriff was giving a crime prevention seminar to our community. When one resident asked what the best thing we could do to prevent becoming a victim is, he said “buy a gun, get trained in how to use it and protect yourself, your family and your home with it.’
Sounds like a smart Sheriff ! The problem is that most people will buy a gun and NOT get trained on how to properly use . I'm glad that Colion makes a point to get properly trained with the gun you buy .

Several years ago my wife and I were trying to adopt a child. Through the CPS training we HAD to purchase a fire extinguisher. However, they required all firearms to be stored behind two locks in a seperate location from the amunition which also had to be behind two locks. I asked the social worker why firearms had to be locked up and she said because you can call the sheriff and I said I can also call the fire department. She did not understand my logic nor apprecate the sarcasm that came with it. I said ma'am I live in a very rural area the best case response time for the sheriff is probably at least 20 minutes. We did not make it through the adoption training.

When an emergency happens, the only person that can respond to it is the person that's there. 100% of the time, the person that will be present, is the person that the emergency is happening to. Why restrict that person from having what they would need to protect themselves, and their loved ones in that situation? Saying that: "police can't fully protect the public" is not a disrespect to law enforcement, they just simply cannot be everywhere at once. Anybody with common sense knows that.

Living in colorado I had to pull out a gun a few times and it ended positively. A guy kicked open my door and tried to rob me but fled when I pulled a pistol, a guy stole my brother's car and cops did nothing bc they "knew" eachother so I found the guy and car and held him as gun point to get the keys back. What neboring county do you live in, Serbian is the offialy second in gun ownership in the world, Bosnians sleep with fully automatic rifles under their beds and have long range altilery in car Parks because they are waiting just in case, Albanians have been arming everyone because of the drug trade they do and the terrorist actions they are playing in Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia like they did in Kosovo. Croatia is the only one really where they don't have that many gun's but that's because they ethnically cleansed Croatia and don't want people to be able to defend them self like in the 90.
Whether it’s luck or providence, having the 2nd Amendment also requires a lot of time, motivation, training, expense and ultimately, responsibility. Just buying a gun and sticking it in the closet is not the right way to go, but millions do just that.

Literally an hour ago I stumbled on an argument online about guns in the UK and US. A Brit had said that there has not been a mass shooting since 1996 and was confronted with a story about the killing of 5 people with a firearm in the UK in 2010.
Their reply was (and this is actually what they said, verbatim) _"5 dead is not a mass shooting"_
Compatibility of definitions is pretty important if you want to compare two countries, yes. 🤪
I mean, I'm pretty sure the US's definition of a mass shooting is 3 or more casualties so if we change that to 5, we haven't really had as many mass shootings and the media likes to report
Well the problem is we can’t agree on what a mass shooting is.
I strongly believe in the Second Amendment. My 21-year-old daughter who is married to a Marine was very anti-gun. What I used to change her mind was response time. Her husband Seth and I we’re shooting at a quarry. The discussion came up, again, about defending yourself. I call Seth to drive away for about five minutes. I waited. And waited. Five minutes and passed and I had moved my daughter and I about 120 yards further into the quarry. I shot my gun a couple of times and told her to call Seth like she was calling the police on a 911 call. She called him and he came driving as fast as he could to get back to us. He showed up approximately 5 1/2 minutes later but couldn’t find us because I had moved us further into the pit. So his total response time from call to finding us was more like 10 minutes. I looked at her and said if somebody is shooting at you do you really want to wait this long for help? What if somebody was wounded? What if he is still actively killing people? Do you really want to wait 10 minutes for someone to possibly save you?
It’s the only argument I ever won with my daughter.

I think it might be because of the fact it was stopped by a good guy with a gun. Remember Europe (where this story is most relevant) has no nations with a right to keep and bear arms.
Media didnt care about this story because guns in Europe are already so heavily restricted that you might say they are effectively banned. All the measures that they propose to stop mass shootings are already implemented long time ago in Montenegro.
We don’t see it in our media because 2 things. 1- The shooter used something other than an AR and 2- Pedestrian stopped him.
3. This was in Montenegro. Even considering the above points there is no way this would help their agenda as this was on another Continent one where the nations generally have stricter gun control. Unless the event can be considered a terrorist attack, they never report on it in the states.
3. It wasn't in America as the narrative is mass shootings ONLY happen in America.
This is precisely why I carry. It’s encouraged that you be proactive with everything from your health to your own means of employment but it’s expected that we place our life and it’s continued existence in the hands of individuals who qualify once a year with their weapons; as is the case in my state. I spent 8 years in the 82nd 1st/504th and 7 years non-consecutively as a PMC starting with Triple Canopy in 2012, 4GS, Dynacorp, etc so I have adequate training and real world practical experience in the application of the use of lethal force in a defensive manner. I always encourage all of my friends, regardless of their experience level, to attend advanced training and take accountability for their own safety and the safety of their loved ones. Your channel is amazing man and a breath of fresh air. Keep it up man
I was a deputy for over 20 years and I encourage as many people I could to get a firearm and learn to protect yourself.
"The same things that are happening in America are happening in the UK." Well, yes and no. The Brits have 'reclassified' a lot of crime, including a lot of violent crime; (including r*pe, ag assault and others) which impacts where those crime stats appear in the lists. It's not that crime has gone down, they just said 'oh, that doesn't count'. It still counts to the victims... but you'll never hear it from the government press.

Can confirm. 20+ year LEO here and I have told oodles of people that we are coming as fast as we can but reality is that won’t be fast enough to stop all the “bad stuff”. Protect yourself and your family at the very least until we get there. Even when we get there, most of us will uphold our oath….but not all. Always carry.

I am a Montenegrin born in Podgorica,and i am a massive advocate for 2A,Fire arms and self defense
The Cetinje mass shooting happened due to incompetence of our government.
The shooter was clinically insane,yet sitll allowed to own firearms,most likely had some connection in the Social Democratic political party.
In the moment of attack,the police,like cowards,hid behind vehicles and refused to help
My friend,who drivesa taxi,was at that moment,found at the shooting,he is,thank god okay.
As the 5th most armed country in the world,things like these never happened.Most gun crimes were suicides,and revenges and family deaths.
However,after the brakeup of yugoslavia lots of illegal automatic weapons remained,police knows but for reasons to us unknown do nothing.
Our gun laws are absolutely horrid,there is no self defense.Not for you,your propert or family.
The person did NOT single handedly shoot the attacker,he actually finished him off.
What is failed to be said is that the police shot him up,quite a good amount,while the man rushed in from another position and finished him off.
The police were armed with glocks and no body armor,while the attacker had a bolt action rifle with a scope.
And our SWAT was and i quote" on a free day,not our problem".
However,if the person who killed the shooter,shot him before he shot anyone,the defender would go to jail.
Our law dictates the defense of same level.
If attacked with a knife,you MUST defend your self with a knife
If attacked with bare fists,you MUST defend with your fists
This law also,dictates taht you MUST be attacked,and injured to apply this rule.
As i mentioned before,there is no,self defense,no conceal carry.If someone brakes in your house,tough luck,you better let him steal what he wants,otherwise,you go to jail.
Due to our extreme corruption even when defense is applied well,you can still go to jail.
And only way,to get a self defense and conceal carry permit..is to be attacked,and survive an attack.

I’m not just pro citizens arming and training themselves, I’ve gone through the task of nagging my friends, their wives, their children and my family members to come to either our training facility or meet at a range.
Im in federal LE and have been a task force guy/instructor for some years. Im by no means the greatest teacher nor the best to be teaching, but I will train anyone who wants to learn (and has a favorable NICS check).
From basic rifle and handgun operation and safety to CQB, multi weapons courses and self defense tactics, I’ve spent at least 300 hours off the clock with people to give them the best chance I can give them at survival in a gun fight.
My initial purpose was training close friends on various tactics so that if SHTF, I would have an already established team who could operate as a unit should things ever get overly hairy.
Then it branched out to first aid, IFAK and TCCC training with them and others. I firmly believe that each and everyone of us who obtain this type of training should be giving it to those who will come to our aid in the event of a crisis.
Side note and a message to all of you concealed carry people: All the rounds in your weapon won’t matter at all if your spouse takes a round to the brachial or femoral in a mass casualty situation. Learn your way around a tourniquet, hemostatic dressings, blood coagulation and chest seals. If you find yourself in an Eli Dickens situation and all you can do is shoot… Yes you stopped the gunman, but now you’re left watching victims bleed out until help arrives. An IFAK could mean the difference for you, your loved one or someone else’s.

There was a shooting in a church parking lot behind my house 3 years ago (drug deal gone bad). When the police arrived i spoke with an officer about what happened and he said "we are still lookin for a suspect, hes somewhere around here." I said "thats why i keep my firearm close." And he said "thats the best thing you can do to protect your home and your family. We wont be there in time to stop him, we are just going to be there in time to pick up the pieces and make a report." I appreciated his honesty.

Here's the other thing: you are on the front line of your own self-defense *whether you carry a gun or not.*
If something happens, the best the cops can do is show up to clean up the mess afterwards. This doesn't change if you choose not to prepare for the worst. You have sole responsibility for your own safety whether you choose to acknowledge it or not.
So why not prepare?
